A waste of time and money.

Fiddly to set up! Fairly hopeless instruction pamphlet doesn't help. Once the unit is plugged in, my tablet saw the unit in the wifi listing page but the setup page doesn't appear though it is supposed to. I had to open chrome and go to : setup.pix-link.net to get to the settings page. This link is printed on the reverse of the unit but not mentioned in the instructions. Type in the password to your router and you're up and running. Problem is, the lousy speed of the Xtend - less than half the speed of the BT wifi box it's extending with the two units sitting close to each other. This makes the unit pretty useless and the lack of range doesn't help. I experimented for an hour with different positions in the house and using tablet / desktop / phone but all were equally unimpressive in terms of coverage and signal strength. I've asked for a refund but having read other peoples reviews I'm not holding my breath.

Junk sold by crooks stay clear

Bought this to nullify Wi-Fi dead spots. Took forever to arrive and shipping costs were extortionate. Once installed did absolutely nothing. Tried to get and RMA to return it but just kept getting offers of a discount if I kept it. Had to eventually accept this just to claw some of my money back. These people are crooks and the product is just Chinese junk. I really feel like I’ve been well & truly scammed.

Ultraxtend wifi booster -boosting only their bank account

Do not touch this company with a barge pole. Their claims of a “Quick and easy set-up” are laughable. Even a gnat couldn’t read the instruction leaflet - such small type. The instructions were unclear & after persevering for an unacceptable time I gave up.
I returned the product when I realised how useless it was only to be charged extra, on top of the £5 handling fee & the postage cost I paid.
On their review of the device, ukconsumerexperts.org stated,
“If you’re not completely satisfied you can send the device back for a full no-fuss refund”. This is just not accurate . I received only £35 of the £51.94 I paid the company. I was offered discounts to keep the product which I refused, I just wanted all my money back.
It seems I’m one of the lucky ones to have got any money back and I would urge others not to be taken in, but if they are, persist with your request of a full refund.

After reading the different reviews…

After reading the different reviews about ultra extend Wi-Fi, I decided to purchase three ultra extend Wi-Fi. I received the ultra extend Wi-Fi, with the boxes damaged. The extenders looked okay, not damaged. Poor packaging. Set up ultra Extend Wi-Fis as per instructions and can only get one to work. So I figured I would try the one that works, obviously. When I did set up the one that works, I have set the ultra extend Wi-Fi right next to a Google point. The Google point is okay, I was looking for a better Wi-Fi signal with the ultra extend Wi-Fi. Believe it or not the Google point has a better Wi-Fi signal. So like any other purchaser of the ultra extend Wi-Fi, I am trying for the last past 3 weeks to return the ultra extend Wi-Fi. After numerous emails with the manufacturer, I am still waiting for an RA #. Also as per ultra extend website, they have a all your answers and questions about their product. And I quote, ( what if I'm not satisfied with the product?). As quoted ( The manufacturer provides a 30- day easy return and refund. So, if you are not happy with the product, they provide a hassle-free no questions asked money-back). End quote.
In an email that ultra extend had sent us states that if we would consider a discounted price and keep the ultra extend Wi-Fis. And of course we have answered. No thank you. The product does not work as advertised on your website. If the ultra extend Wi-Fi extenders were working as per manufacturers specifications, Do you think I would return them if they were better than the Google point that I have now. As of The fourth week of emails with ultraxtend still no return address or RA#. Looks like I will have to go the next option.

ultraXtend WiFi

I purchased this product back in April to boost my WiFi for my caravan. Club WiFi is usually shocking but this product significantly boosts the signal. Only negative are the instruction, they are tiny to read. Very happy otherwise 😊

Do not buy from them

Do not buy from them! I have never had such poor, time-consuming, time-wasting customer service. Very, very, very difficult to return items and even harder to get refund. Lots of stalling emails, reluctance to just give information necessary for returns, then denied items were returned even though they were. Various email addresses and appears lack of coordination between them. So much for “easy return” for any reason. Terrible place to do business with. Would definitely not recommend anyone buy from them - whomever they are! I believe they are just continuing to lie, stall, waste time just to keep me from issuing me a refund! I have been dealing with them since April 16 - today. Still not resolved.

They didn’t do anything

They didn’t do anything. Trying to return them for a week and still haven’t got the address. The keep giving me an offer to keep them. But no address. Now they are saying they charge $5.00 for each one returned. And they are charging me for the shipping to mail them to me. Very disappointing.

This is a scam product

This is a scam product. Not only does it not work, the company has not honored my request for a refund of which they guarantee within 30 days. I am now on my 10th communication to them. They keep responding with offers to refund 10% then 20% and now 30% back on the product without a refund. They now tell me I have to pay for shopping and there is a $5 convenience charge for returning it. This is the WORST experience I have EVER had with a company who CLEARLY is not going to honor my request.

DO NOT ORDER

After reading positive reviews about the best wi-fi extender - Ultraxtend - I placed an order on Tuesday, 5/7. On Thursday, I received the "Good News - Your Order Has Shipped" email. Tracking for the package wasn't available yet so I ordered another extender via Amazon on Friday, which in hindsight, I should have done originally. That product arrived at my door at 10 pm on the same day and works beautifully. I emailed customer support for Ultraxtend to cancel my order as it hasn't shipped yet. However, their response is that is not possible as the item shipped. Today (Monday 5/13) I checked the tracking # to find that a USPS label was created but the item has not arrived at a USPS facility. I agree with other reviews on this site. This device and company are a SCAM.

DO NOT BUY!

DO NOT BUY!! This item took ages to arrive and all of their claims are untrue! It was so frustrating to set up and the instructions are unclear. Their claims to be suitable for large homes when really it is only a mere 50ft (approx. 15 meters) and to cut through walls like butter is untrue. I call that false marketing, especially when my extender is only a mere 23ft away from my router and my flat is all on one level. The WiFi with the UltraXtender is extremely unstable and constantly drops out for long periods of time. When I asked for advice was told to buy another unit! Yeah right! Do not waste your money like I did.
I wish I had never purchased your product.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Well where to start! your charged alot for shipping which then takes ages to arrive, when trying to sort it out with customer service, i dont think they know what customer service is, they couldn't contact the delivery company, they expected you to and as it was a well known company with a history of bad deliveries and no contact details, that wasnt going to happen and i wasnt prepared to waste hours trying to do so, they gave you no information regarding the delivery company, tracking etc. waiting to see if the item even arrives before trying to get a refund from them, which reading reviews on here doesnt sound like thats going to be easy

The device is a scam

The device is a scam. It didn't work when I tried configuring it. I'm trying to return it for a refund. The company refuses to issue a refund authorization. They are trying to negotiate anything except a refund. They've offered to let me keep the device, but give me a 20% refund, exchange the device for a new one, and tried providing tech support (which they didn't respond to a request for support until after I asked for a refund). DO NOT waste your time and money on this scam device and company. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

The device is a SCAM

This device doesn't carry enough strength to work better or even as good as another wifi extender but worse is the customer service - to buy direct from the company (using their "deal") is a scam, compete scam - you're throwing your money away. Just try to return and get a refund. Impossible.

The unit is overpriced compared to what you can purchase at your local computer store and does not work any better. The installation instructions are useless (terrible+). And the return policy took 9 emails, plus having to pay return shipping and an additional $5.00 restocking fee. Further, I haven't received a refund yet! Buyer beware! Not worth even 1 star.

Worst company in the history of life@

This company does not appear to care for anything but money. My internet is very slow even though it states 300mbps download speeds. I can't watch a show without it going out or freezing or restarting. So I saw this product UltraXTend. It is supposed to extend the Wi-Fi throughout your home so that there's no dead spots. I ordered four of them with warranties in case something went wrong with them. I really wish I had looked at trustpilot first, then I never would have purchased at all. When I received them, one of them flat out just did not work. When you plugged it in it did nothing at all. No lights, no nothing. The second third and fourth one, will all show up on the list of Wi-Fi names to choose from but when you picked it, it showed connected with no internet. I wrote the company an email detailing what the problem was and requesting a refund. What they sent me was the manual. I wrote them back thanking them for the manual but stated I already had it and I did what it said and it did not work so I would like a refund. They sent me an email back asking me if I wanted them to replace the item. I thanked them for offering to replace the item but stated it would not help with the fact that they do not connect to the internet, so no thank you. I again requested a refund. They sent me this long list of things that I needed to do/send, along with sending pictures/videos of the problem. Then said they would get back to me. I sent all of the information that they requested and waited for a reply. I received the return adress and returned the items to the address to which they sent me and emailed a copy of the receipt showing that I did so. Then for some reason they decided to give me a partial refund as opposed to a full refund. When I wrote and asked them why a partial refund instead of a full refund they said they would have to get back with me. Needless to say today is the 19th of April 2024 and I have not heard a word back since. I then wrote an email promising to try and have them banned or at the very least let everyone know how awful this company was and how terrible their customer service is. Please Do Not buy anything from this company, it is all Junk! When you try and get a refund they send you through hoops and either don't give you anything or give you what they want you to have and then ignore you after that. This company is the worst company IN THE HISTORY OF LIFE!
