What a Fkiingg piece of shet

What a Fkiingg piece of shet. So difficult to set up, settings impossible to change (even renaming the wifi to tell it apart from other connections.) The reviews on the website are complete BS. The long review I read and the YouTube videos I watched were so inaccurate. Finally got connected, sometimes fast enough to watch YouTube videos, but other times won't even connect to simple devices. I ended up smashing this thing after they told me I couldn't return it. F this company in the A.

Junk - highly NOT recommended

Unfortunately, I think that the positive reviews I read on this product are all false. I bought two of the UltraXTend WiFi devices for a total cost of $113.75. And absolutely nothing I read about this product is true. The instructions are extremely poor - the instruction document that came with the devices are written so small that they are impossible to read without a magnifying glass. The instructions also look like they were written in a different language (not English) and then poorly-translated into English….ultimately, it looks like the instructions were written either by someone who is illiterate or, doesn't speak English. There is a button on the center of the device and the instructions make no mention of what that button does. And once I figured out how to program the Wifi extenders, I can connect to them with my tablets or my Amazon Firestick but then they lose internet connection. This product is junk.

DO NOT BUY!!!!!

The CON's: The 1st one they shipped me didn't even have a plug-in for the US, it took week's before getting it resolved.
THEY DO NOT WORK!! I took a picture of a side-by-side comparison using FAST.COM showing that my original Wi-Fi speed is 69mbps when hooked up to the wireless router in the basement; while on the other hand the FAST.COM speed while hooked up to the "extender" plugged in next to my computer slowed all the way down to 6.5mbps.
DO NOT BUY!!

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. The returns policy is atrocious and these money comparison sites should remove this product from their website. From a quick google it seems like the top product available, but the customer service is terrible, we paid £13 for delivery only for it not to arrive on time and have just been told we have to pay extra for a return. How on earth did it cost £13 to send for it to not arrive on time.

This sucks big time

I only gave it one star because I had to to leave a review. It should get zero stars. Incomprehensible instructions. Non-existent web addresses required for setup. I never did get it to work, and I will not even try to get my money back after reading about others' experiences with that. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! I got suckered, plain and simple.

Suspicious website

I was comparing products on different websites and came across this one for £33.33. I entered my details (including payment) but then found the total cost was £51.94 including shipping and VAT so did not proceed. I then ordered from a different company off Amazon. Now I find that the money has been taken from my bank account anyway and they are maintaining that I did order and that they can't cancel.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. The extender does not work. Tried and tried to connect it to no avail. Called today to refund and send back. First I had to email them with specific things in the email and then I need to wait for a response and an address to send the product back. Oh, an I need to pay shipping and handling? Your website says 100 percent money back guarantee. It's a piece of junk. Buyer beware. Wish I saw this website before I purchased. I contacted my credit card company.

was getting worried after purchasing 4 of these and then reading the reviews on here.
But sorted them out and now have WIFI everywhere around the house and even next door into my mothers house.
throw the instructions out the window and just plug in next to your router wait for the first 2 lights to go solid then press the WIFI button on you router then press the flashing WIFI button on extender wait for a minute and it will reboot.
next after about a minute you should have a solid green light on centre WIFI button ;) unplug and place where you need.
to connect to extender just enter your (ROUTER PASSWORD) and you now have WIFI

Slooooooowwwww

Didn't have a problem getting it connected and it does work, but its garbage. The speed is atrocious, it's more than 10x slower than when connected to wifi in the house. Purchased it to extend wifi in the yard and it does not deliver. It'll be in the tech recycling at the dump very soon.

I purchased ultraxtends product and…

I purchased ultraxtends product and attempted to return with 4 separate emails. the first few within 30 days and my last request was after 30 days which was simply denied due to the 30 day limit. My first 3 request to return were met with an offer to refund a percentage of my purchase and I could keep the product. my responses were that I didn't need the product and would like to return for a full refund. I have spent way too much time trying to return a product that guarantees satisfaction with easy returns no questions asked....horrible experience!!!!

Inpector Gadget needs to lock them up! Disgrace.

I wish I had heeded the feedback on this company on Trustpilot. I was swayed by the 30day return guarantee. The set up instructions are useless. Fortunately being IT literate I set it up. It only works on a single band (2.4G) and has its own SSID so it is NOT and extenders advertised but crates a different network. I measured the speeds and they were no faster. So I have being going back and forth with the Customer Support Team to return the product. They offered a 20%, then 30% refund and threatened to add a handling charge on top if I wanted the full refund. This arbitrary charge is not specified in their terms. I then was instructed to email the refund details to another email address and if that wasn't done within 7 days there would be no return accepted. I believe the company is registered in Holland. They are a disgrace.

This gadget is useless. I purchased two devices having read good reviews on their website. Setup instructions are in ultra small print and despite following instructions - neither I or their technical support person were able to get these items to connect to the network. Complete waste of my time

This product is absolute garbage

This product is absolute garbage. Instructions are tiny and very hard to understand. Pix link 2 4G did not exist. Managed to connect using the wps buttons. My Internet speed then decreased from around 74mbps to 25mbps. Keep well away from this product.

WORST COMPANY SINCE COMCAST

Don't think I ever got the truth from this company, as a matter of fact the 3 day shipping turned into e weeks shipping. No contact from the company. Even if the product works out great the aggravation I have already gone through won't make it worth it. I'm not even certain this is even a real company.

Customer Service and Extender are Dismal

My TP Extender was playing up so I ordered an UltrXTend based on the web site Consumer Expert Reviews. It took 10 days to arrive and meanwhile I repositioned my TP Extender and it was now working perfectly. I contacted UltraXTend to request a refund and that started a multi-email mini nightmare. Near the end they offered me a 20% refund and I could keep the device and when I refused they offered me 30%. I was sick and tired of them so I accepted. Being curious, I then tried to set up the UltraXTend and found the instructions incomprehensible and after several tries I could not get it to connect to my modem. So I tossed the piece of junk into the trash. Worst company I have ever dealt with.
