Grrrrrrr!
I have never been scammed before but my daughter was applying for her provisional licence and we got scammed! I am kicking myself for being so careless as the website looks so similar to the DVLA/GOV website but as I was doing several things at once, I missed the warning signs. I have read this advice which is really useful-thank you. I have researched the company, reported it to my bank and action fraud, emailed the email address (on the 'terms and conditions' section at the bottom of the site) and will happily keep going until I get a full £115 refund. What a scamming cretin he is!
GOT ALL MY MONEY BACK
GOT ALL MY MONEY BACK
Hi all, very pissed off with myself, I knew these low lifes existed but I rush through it on my phone, only when the text came in that I realised what I had done, robbed for £115 for provisional!!! rage just didn't cover it!!
I immediately cancelled the transaction with them through there website filled in the form and sent it back. In the mean time I applied for another through the dvla. as I presumed that their transaction was finished.
BUT OH NO!
you have now entered the driving licence scammers flim flam machine, they will mess you about like no tomorrow. they will come back with £20 £30 £40 £50, but just keep going.
then I sent a "letter before action" saying why I was going to take them to court citing Consumer Contracts Legislation 2013, still nothing just offers of £50.
one week later!!! plus 40 emails!
I called citizens advice and they put me right, I hadn't put in the right information. As soon as I emailed that they were in Breach of contract under common law of there T&Cs as they had not cancelled my contract and said that all future time spent on the matter would be logged and compensation for time will be applied.
long pause...........
within 1 hour the £115 landed back in my account.
I wish you all the best and hope legislation gets passed that these "see you nest Tuesdays" are are assigned to history.

I have just been scammed by these robbing cows £95 whipped from my account for a renewal fee should have been £14. Email address doesn’t exist. God I feel such a fool. Don’t renew anything DVLA on line just go to POst Office to avoid being duped. I managed to get through to them only to be told in the small print on the site? It says the fee for the licence renewal is £81upward and the small print should have been read!!!!!!!! What small print? Surely DVLA know about this?
Someone foreign answers you who can hardly speak English who will tell you they have provided a service on behalf of DVLA and quite within their right to take their fee.
This has to be stopped. DVLA must know what’s going on . Get phoning them on 442045713272 and harass them. Report them to the papers.
STOP ALL BANK CARDS IMMEDIATELY.
I have also contacted Watchdog and the Welsh programme the same called X-RAY.
I have had an e mails from them saying I am not entitled to a refund. We’ll see!!!!

I have also tried to get in touch.
The number on their website under privacy conditions relates to a different company who have reported it to the police. Has anyone been successful in contacting by email that they could share please. Thanks
Check who you think you are dealing with.
Just checked my bank statement found a charge for .50p ?. Asked my bank and was told for vehiclesearch.co.uk. Web site should be closed down.
Fell for it!
Fell for it! £81 for what would have been a free driving licence if I had been on the correct site. No warning they were about to debit my credit card. Expensive lesson when you are on a pension so please learn from my mistake.
Don't go near them!!
Yes, sadly I have just been caught out too! First I knew was when £95.00 came out of my account for a £14.00 renewal. My bank couldn't help but some good advice from previous posters on here so I'm not giving up on a refund. Reported to Citizens advice, Trading standards and DVLA and have just started an email exchange with the company. This sort of thing should be made illegal!

My partner has just been scammed by this website.. £95 straight out of his bank when it’s only £14 for a renewal driving licence. It’s showing as pending in his online banking. I cannot find a contact number or even an email address to be able to get in contact with these people. How has anyone else got in touch with them please?
Thanks
