My sixteen year old also fell victim to this company for the same reasons as detailed in other posts. The positive is that they actually do submit the application to the DVLA as we received the necessary paperwork today. He has also finally received confirmation of the full £80 refund. This took about 5 e-mails and the usual threats. A life lesson for him!
Persevere and don't feel down if you got stung - easily done!

In a rush I mistakenly used this scam website. I immediately (2 minutes after I’d completed their online form) cancelled my order as soon as I realised and requested a full refund. No response, just automated emails.
Suspiciously I received a scam DPD request for an undelivered parcel first thing today. 🤔

I would like to thank those who have provided such useful information on this company as this helped my own claim. I, like many others, wasn’t paying enough attention and ended up paying £94 to renew my licence. It should have cost £14. Over six days l sent 23 emails. They do promptly respond. I requested a Subject Access Report which you are legally entitled to ask for. This means they must supply all the information they have on you, say what they are doing with it and, they are bound to reply within a specific timescale or you can take them to court. You will find many templates online showing exactly what to do.

They will try to blind you with pre-formatted replies saying everything on a loop. Be persistent. I threatened everything from ASA, Ombudsman, Police, small claims court etc. as well as contacting BBC Rouge Traders. They kept saying l had agreed to their T&Cs. I hadn’t, that box was automatically ticked, there was no mention of the £94 on the payment page and nor do they provide adequate information on cancellations.
l had sooo much to say! The company address is false and they will not provide details of company directors.

After initially offering me £16 this incrementally increased to £27, £40, £55, £65 and finally they offered me the £80 that l had initially asked for. I just kept refusing their offers and sending back my own pre-formatted replies. It is very tedious but l just would not go away. The refund has now gone into my bank.

They wouldn’t keep refunding people if they knew they had right on their side. Good luck!

This site and 4 others show as TOP suggestions on Google. They all show ABOVE the genuine gov. uk site. One assumes that money has changed hands and that Google is facilitating the scam. Possibly for financial reward. I dilled in all the fields but stopped at the payment page. So did not enter my card details. However, these scammers from Estonia still have my passport number, NI number, name, address, DOB and mothers maiden name. That is sufficient info to access accounts, apply for loans etc. I do not know if there is criminal intent, but do not be reassured just because you avoided payment or got a refund. If you visit this site, it is still a massive data security breach. I will be writing to the company with FOI request and will alert ICO to find out what data they hold on me and who it is shared with. I suggest anyone who has visited any of these sites submits written GDPR information requests. You will have to pay something for materials, like printing and photocopying. I also think someone should be investigating how these scam firms have displaced the real ones on Google. There appears to be collusion.

Con artists, be careful, I was multi tasking and can't believe how I got fooled into this, good thing my bank Santander declined payment, the audacity of these cowards. A few days later they still have to audacity to contact me via email to complete payment.

It's one of those spoof sites that comes up by a google search for the correct Government site and tries to get you pay £80 for a free renewal of your over 70s driving licence. The small print says you are paying for the benefit of them checking your application.

Luckily, we realised when entering details. Something felt wrong. Follow your gut: " Don't think twice, it is alright"

Like others fallen victim to this site thinking I was on DVLA site. Does anyone know if they respond to the email address they give within contacts ?

Thanks @Andy Cross for your review, it was extremely useful and it gave me hope and purpose. This business is made to take advantage of people multitasking and not realising they’re not DVLA. I was charged £100. I immediately called my credit card but they stated this cannot be considered fraud unless they don’t provide the service, so they could only do something about it if they didn’t provide a service in 2 weeks. I then immediately wrote to Vehicle Online Services (it seems I cannot post the email here, will try with code: contact(at)driving-licence-application.co.uk) to ask for a refund and cancel the services.

They replied very quickly and were very polite in every correspondence. They state it’s a fully automated system and therefore the service was already in progress as soon as I applied. They also state I accepted the terms and conditions and that they had no obligation for a refund, but as a courtesy as they understand people make mistakes, would refund £14. After 30 back and forth emails (I’m not exaggerating), I went from £14, £27, £40, £57 to finally £80 (many attempts each time). Final acceptance of the £80 was a full week after the transaction and it was effective 2 days later.

You have to be really patient if you want to get the maximum refund. Just remember to be factual and polite, after all they have your money. Don’t ever accept it was a mistake on your part.

Scam! Can’t believe I let myself get duped! Like the others below, I was duped into this thinking I was going through dvla, only noticed I wasn’t when I checked my bank statement and there was a charge for £94 going out. I checked with the reference number they gave with dvla and my licence was actually being processed, but nonetheless I refuse to pay £80 for a service that I can do myself for free. I immediately emailed them quoting some of the information below, they replied offering me a “commercial gesture “ whatever that is, I emailed back and insisted I was misled and wanted my £80 refunded. They emailed again offering £16 and that I knew what I was doing when I checked the box for ts&cs. I responded back saying I was misled and will accept only £80, said I contacted citizens advice, sought legal action, also quoted their directors which I think did it! As soon as I sent the below email I checked my account and have been credited £80. So if you’re persistent and insistent you will get your money back! The only other worry is that they have my passport, driving license and other details! 😡

Your website is misleading, I was mislead. I would like a refund of £80.

I contacted Citizens advice and they have said your company have had numerous complaints as you have misled others and have been reported to trading standards.

I will not accept any amount other than £80.

I am well within the 14 day cancellation period (the minimum required under your terms and conditions) therefore I am entitled to a refund for £80.

I have sought legal advice from an independent ombudsman and they have advised me to go to the small claims court to seek back my £80 if you fail to refund me.

I will also contact HMRC to lodge a complaint about your company and write directly to your directors.

I hope this is resolved promptly and I will be provided with a refund of £80.

WARNING This is a scam. They charge you £80 to do your application. Unfortunately banks and police completely useless as they say it is not illegal.

Horrible scam!!!
My friend was caught by them, bank refused dispute, Action Fraud refused as well, but we continue to argue with them.
Report them as much as possible, everywhere, call police. The more we report the better!

I used the government URL that was on my renewal letter gov.uk renew-driving-licence, and I fell for it as the first four sites that that come up on google are:-

Yes its a scam to pay £80 extra for a service but google and the UK government are allowing this to happen, I thought I was savvy but I fell for this one passing all my details, when I realised I requested a refund within 12 hours of my application and I have had no further contact from the company.
This morning I received my licence, I have contacted them again for a refund, but as yet no further contact from the company.
I have spoken to my bank and by the looks of it they cannot help.
I will continue to post warnings about this site/s on other platforms until i get a satisfactory outcome.

Total scam! Don't use it!

If you are a legitimate company then call me on 0781 8039783. You have a fake email address and no phone number. I want my money back. I am elderly with learning difficulties and I have paid for a service that I don't need. I have 14 days to reclaim money under law. I am writing the review to also get the email address of the company and to protect other vulnerable people from this company. I am going to the bank to see if I can block pending payment, as the email address they have given is fake, of course. There is no phone number for U.K. or Estonia. I might make this a mission. I have some time on my hands. Will contact a few people today to see if we can get media exposure to help protect decent people. The Nat West Bank are going to chase a full refund if the money is taken out of pending.

I like many others have just realised that this company is a little off key, the website looks so convincing and people with busy lives get sucked in.. This is the first time it's happened to me.. I do feel a little stupid as it flagged me as strange when they emailed me at 01:00 in the morning re the application.

I like many others searched dvla and this website was the first that came up I genuinely thought I was renewing my licence on dvla for £14 only to find out I had been chard £94 once my bank had informed me I emailed them twice within 30 mins of noticing which was on a Sunday afternoon I then emailed again mon morning for them to respond Monday afternoon saying it was my own fault and they had already sent my licence out, those that work for this company should be ashamed of what a dodgy scam of company they are working for.

As so many have before me I fell for this scam today. Contacted them 7 times without reply. I will not let them get away with this and will fight all the way to get my money back. Disgusting that they can make themselves look like the official gov website!

SCAM - OMG - I just renewed two licences for £188. I only noticed when it was too late that. Have tried to cancel today but this is not going to be fun.. I have a text just now saying the application is complete (in 2 hours of paying). What got me - was I thought was on the Govt site AND there was no total price displayed before checkout. I am now almost £200 out of pocket! I am going to work very hard to get this back. I also deeply concerned about the personal data they have garnered too.

I would give them zero stars, These people are a scam, I will put up their details on you tube and insta by tomorrow with a their correspondence and my interaction with DVLA. This company is a scam and should not be used by anyone. They have lied to me, which again I will put up with corresponding details if times o have spoken to DVLA. When asked for a refund they send me emails saying you knew what you was buying. My order went in at 2:30 am and it was questioned literally 15 minutes afterwards but they tried to tell me that they have already processed it at that time if the morning, they say my application has been submitted to DVLA but cannot give me reference number which is needed to confirm this.
