Product does not work or at least I don't think it does but cannot confirm because the support number doesn't work and the support email bounces back undelivered. To return the item, the website asks you to email them and they will provide a case number. That's great if their email address worked. Avoid like the plague. I wish companies or agents who supply this rubbish, and take your money, can be shut down. Total scam.

I really thought it was too good to be true and its. I bought 2 ssd 30T for 100 pounds. The rings started to ring when I saw delivery details like why are they using airplane when they and me are in uk, them today I decided to go online and check the reviews and I was surprised and not surprised because they all say its a scam. I too believe its a scam I'm still waiting for me product. I already informed my bank about the scam. I decide to get in contact with them via email and its says their email box is full and cannot be posted my email, this another red flag. So I will wait till 7th January if I don't receive the item I will get money back via my bank.

I purchased a SSD storage unit, price great, quality rubbish. I did notice the 30 day return policy, but believed that in the UK, goods were supposed to have at least a 12 month warranty, perhaps I am wrong on this point. Anyway I took the 30 day return policy of this company to mean free retune within 30 days due to change of mind.

Well, beware as in my opinion it means they guarantee their goods for just 30 days ! And, in my experience it is highly likely that any goods you purchase from Versik, just as the SSD I purchased, will perhaps last only 30 days.

My SSD failed within 3 months, in fact I did not really used it for the first 3 months so perhaps it never really worked.

The company refused to help. I could not get a refund from my credit card company as I had not declared it faulty when it arrived.

OK, legally probably all down to me, but it seems the customer care approach of this company is aimed at getting your cash and doing as little as possible should you have a problem.

Take heed, purchase from this company and live to regret it.

Got what I thought was a 2TB SSD compatible with my son's Xbox one S. After plugging it in this Xmas as I bought it as a gift, it would not work. Reformatted it as per instructions but still would not work & Xbox said it needed to be USB 3.0 min & box says USB 3.1. They won't refund or exchange as they said it's gone past 30 day exchange period & have now stopped replying. AVOID THIS SELLER.

Having received my products yet before I bought a 16tb & 8tb hdd I emailed them to make sure they work on ps5 with a reply saying yes so I thought I would buy 16tb after I paid for it I got a message get another hdd any tb half the price so I bought 8tb offer, then I asked friends on Facebook if these hdd are any good plenty responses saying no SCAM so I emailed them not to send my products out and to refund my money in to my bank they wouldn't in till I received my products test them then send them back 🙄 multiple emails to and from them 😡 just wanted my refund don't know how they get away with it , WEBSITE MISLEADING TO PEOPLE TO BUY THERE PRODUCTS even there phone number on there page doesn't work , they emailed me a video showing me hdd work on ps5 and the video dosent even load up SCAMMERS just hope my bank cam get my money back, JUST TO LET PEOPLE KNOW MY BANK REFUNDED ME THE FULL AMOUNT WHAT I PAID FOR THEM

A BIG SCAM. I thought lets check it out. Originally i thought the company is based in the UK, but they came from somewhere outside the country. The number they provided, nobody answers. Immediately after a couple of days, ordering the product, although yet not received, i began emailing them to cancel the order and issue a refund. Currently i think i am getting responses from an AI. Continues to ask me to use different cables, different computer, and that they have had customers, that faced similar issues, and the issue got resolved. I shall be reporting this site, to the UK and European Cyber Watchdog, so they shut it down

25/12/2023 UPDATE: Finally i have a response from the seller, this time it is not an AI. And the seller is asking to return the item to an address other than the address it was dispatched from. It was dispatched from UB1 postcode, and is requesting me to send it to SE6 postcode. PURE SCAM. I have requested a RETURN LABEL. And furthermore the request is to send it to them in pristine condition, so it doesnt get damaged. The product itself is not fit for purpose as it is. DO NOT BUY THIS!! IT IS A BIG SCAM

I have returned the items, and they have been delivered. However i am unable to send them emails. They have changed their contact email address from contact@
at versik.com to support at versik.com.

I may have lost out on a £100 but could be that the Action Fraud team has banned their domain(s). As i am unable to follow up on my refund.

SO PLEASE BE VERY AWARE, IF IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, THEN IT IS, SIMPLE!!

I bought two external SSDs from them and they turned out to be fakes. I should have checked them out first...

8TB HD lost all my files then after numerous emails to them and responses stating I had passed 30day mark to get my money back decided I would go to mastercard see if they can help.. DO NOT BUY WISH I HAD READ REVIEWS BEFOREHAND

Wish I'd checked the reviews first! Total scam. Bought a 2TB SSD, realised when I tried to back up my whole PC that some files wouldn't save on it. Tried to repair the drive, still didn't work. Realised it says it has a 2TB capacity, in reality might only be about 2GB. When I realised this, I contacted the team who offered a 50% refund and I don't have to return the item. I refused to return without a prepaid postage label, they said they'll refund the postage but due to other reviews, I declined and reported them to the trading standards agency. I managed to get a full refund via my bank who are also raising this as a scam/fraud. Hoping it gets shut down soon! Not a registered business on Companies House. Do not buy anything from them.

Sadly, I bought without having read the reviews here and I can report my experience to be the same as many others; Device simply doesn't work.
I suspected as soon as it arrived that I was going to have issues as the package weighed about as much as a matchbox.
I'd love to give them the benefit of the doubt and think that perhaps they genuinely think they're importing a genuine working product from China, but I'm afraid their credibility is somewhat damaged by the offer of 50% refund without having to send the drive back. I held out for full refund and, to be fair did get it in a timely manner so i'm only out of pocket the cost of returning but it seems to me that the 'business model' is relying on people not doing that and pocketing 50% of cost each time. It's like something out of a Guy Ritchie film!

Bought 8TB ssd to store video footage. The drive disconnected while copying and the files were lost. It has successfully copied other files and then lost them.

I have contacted versik for a refund and sent 3 emails requesting my money back and they gave me a long list of things to do to troubleshoot. I have said I have tried all suggestions and just want a refund as there is a 30 day money back guarantee and now they have gone quiet. They sent me a video to show there products work??? And said the bad reviews are from other companies??? The phone number on the site says the number doesn't exist when you try to call it! I received the drive less than 10 days ago so am well within the 30 days. Please do not purchase from this company and if anyone knows report them to trading standards or get google to remove them please let me know how. They are top of the search results in google when you search for portable hard disk this is ridiculous as you should be able to trust google only deals with reputable companies and not advertise crappy companieslike this.

Bought two 2Tb drives, neither of which worked properly. Managed to copy one folder over to one of them, but at average transfer speed of around 2Mb/s, far from the 480Mb/s promised in the literature. If I'd seen these reviews before, I wouldn't have bought them, as everyone seems to have had similar issues.
Just had an email from them offering me 50% refund so i don't have to bother returning, but that still would leave me £29 out of pocket for two useless shiny bits of metal. I've refused the offer, let's see what happens next...

Update:
When I requested a full refund, they asked me to return them to an address not too far from me in Manchester. Rather than posting, and run the risk of the 30 days refund period expiring, I drove to the house, which turned out to be a random residential address.
When I contacted Versik again to ask them about the address, they immediately processed the 100% refund, which I now have. However, I imagine many people just post to the random addresses and totally lose their money. Again - avoid!

After waiting 2 weeks for the 8TB to turn up, plugged it in and guess what? Yep does not work, got in touch with the fraudsters who blamed a brand new PS5. Igot in touch with the fraudsters as it does not work as advertised, they wanted to give me a 50% discount to keep something that does not work. You have to laugh! Sent they faulty item back after they assured they will cover postage. Got an email confirming refund but not for postage as guaranteed! Now taking things further, as have confirmations from them. It's funny I brought a real external memory pluged in in and working in seconds. Wish I read the reviews on this sham fraud company! It's going to cost them more than the postage now!!
Enter SSD scam into Google and it brings up these SSD's!!

Versik paid all my money back before I had even received the 4 drives. However, 3 days later all four drives turned up and me being me I decided to test them out one by one.
When I plugged them into my PC I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were listing the true values and my heart started to believe in Versik.
I selected to copy two of my larger libraries (2TB each) and tried to copy them both in as many ways as I could think.
I was copying onto 2 x 4TB and 2 x 8TB
I tried copying files per file, I tried using a mirror imaging programme, I tried 4 different way on all 4 drives. I even tried reformatting them from 2048 to 4096 after researching common user faults but the outcome was the same.
Just like a previously listed reviewer, everything looked good and the files appeared to cross over but at the end of each process I found whole folders empty with names files totally invisible.
Plus the MP4, WMA that did remain were corrupted.
Needless to say the drives are not fit for purpose and I will send an email to the company outlining my findings.
People should be warned off from this company and Im sure they know just how bad their products are because they havent chased me to return the shoddy goods. I am just lucky that they returned my money without any hassle.
Please make the public aware of this company.

Bloody awful piece of equipment. Bought a 4tb and took up the offer of a discounted 1tb. I just wanted to back up my music files and keep a copy of the original hard drive just incase. It completely lost the 60's folder and the whole drive goes missing after about 10 minutes. A load of rubbish, do not entertain these cowboys.

I wish I'd read these reviews before I purchased. I emailed them the same day I received the 8Tb.SSD. Told them it's not working. They replied 'Try this; try that' but to no avail. After that, they said as I was a new customer they would offer me 50% discount and I would not have to return the SSD. Wow! How magnanimous of them. I then saw some reviews of them online and thought at least I might get some money back so I accepted it just so I would not have to spend any time reporting to Trading Standards etc. I wonder if they have any SSDs that actually function correctly otherwise surely they would have sent a replacement? So yes, I got half the money back. Then an email saying that they hoped that I would give them another chance and make further purchases from them. I was gob-smacked. How stupid do they think I am?

Bought 2 hard drives 8TB AND 4TB, neither was able to hold any information,I guess the clue was the price.
Now all e mails going to mailor demon so returns address dodgy as well.
Looks like I’m down £53.
