Assembly was tricky

The size of the coffee table was perfect for my use but assembly was a little tricky although it did pull together when all bolts were tightened up.

However, the table wasn't as "chunky" as it looked in the pictures. I resorted to wood glue to prevent the parts separating.

I'm using it for a 3d printer and it was important that it was stable enough to prevent the printer wobbling during printing. Time will tell on that.

This company is a massive fraud !!!!
DO NOT USE VIDAXL. They took £400 pounds from us for lockers and then pretended we never paid , even though we sent bank statements! Because they are based overseas there is no phone number that they answer , and they ignore emails . Should be shut down !

Looks good and solid

The product is great , easy to assemble and solid and good quality.
However the actual picture is a bit misleading as it shows a pair of trousers hanging in the unit which is why I brought it ,to hang cloths in for over night guest in a very small room. The picture must be trousers of a very young child of about 2-3 ,as adult trousers all hang onto the floor .

Previously ordered with no issues

Previously ordered with no issues, so I have no idea what’s changed.

My recent order was cancelled because I’m on the Isle of Wight, despite the fact that all major couriers deliver here daily. I run a business myself and use Royal Mail, DPD, and UPS, EVRI, YODEL every single day with no problems. We’re also part of Hampshire, so this shouldn’t even be an issue.

I was told to reorder, which I did, and then they cancelled it again.

Really frustrating experience and no clear explanation as to why.

5 star customer service

Ordered a Cabinet and TV stand which arrived quickly, the items are even nicer in person. I had a issue with part of the items getting damaged in transit. I spoke to customer services via the chat on the website and they said they would send out the replacement parts I needed to replace the damaged ones. The parts I needed wasn't in stock so they have sent out a full replacement and I dont need to return the original item. My issue was dealt with quickly and I am very happy with the customer service of this company and the quality of the products. The issue was due to no fault of the company itself. Assembly instructions are the best i have recieved compared to other flat pack items i have purchased elsewhere, really simple and easy to put together, I will definitely be purchasing from here again.

Low quality products + bad support

Low quality products, plus I just asked for manual/parts list so I'd be able to fix my faulty shower system but their support bot doesn't work. And their human support is not responsive.

An absolute wreck

Having had good experiences with vidaXL in the past I ordered the large grey dog bed.

Unfortunately what arrived should never had made it past quality checks.

The box was in tact when it arrived so what follows was no "transit damage".

Every single piece of wood was either badly scratched or badly painted. I wasn't worried, But was happy to repaint it anyway. Unfortunately panels were split along the pre-drilled holes and as soon as I started to assemble it this became clear.

I ended up using cut-offs from my home renovation to repair and replace the damage pieces.

The screws for the support of the base panels were far too short. Again I ended up using items I had in my tool kit.

All in all not worth £30 let alone over £100

FOLLOW UP: I have responded TWICE to VidaXL, I'm sitting here looking at the emails. I responded to Michelle on 21 April 2026 at 11:43am and again on the 29 April at 4.12pm. Both occassions I told them that there was no point following up as the DIY work was holding it and I wan't interested in a replacement because I didn't trust the quality.

The response below by VidaLX is factually incorrect and gives me yet another reason never to buy from them again

Deeply disappointed with this purchase

Deeply disappointed with this purchase. I build flat-pack units regularly, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. The paint finish is shocking patchy and "disgusting" quality. The joints are weak, and the instructions are practically useless.
I bought this for my main room, but because it looks so cheap and feels so flimsy, it’s ended up in a back room and will likely fall apart in weeks.

Good shoe storage

Website easy to access. The item I bought was exactly what I wanted. Good quality, however when assembled there are stickers to cover the screw tops, but it would have looked alot better with caps.
