Absolute shit show of a company

Absolute shit show of a company, ordered a fish tank unit 7 days ago. I emailed and they blamed the courier for "not scanning" the label. I then spoke to someone on live chat 2 days later for them to tell me the unit hasn't been posted/left them yet and that i will have to wait until the 10th for updates, 10 days since i ordered it. On a supposed 2-4 day delivery is going to turn into a 10+ day delivery. So not only am I going into day 8 with no update or even the unit being given to the courier but I'm being lied to as well! Absolute shite company to purchase anything from! I've asked for a refund so I'll have to see what other bullshit excuses they come out with now!

PLEASE SEE UPDATE 13TH APRIL - DO NOT BUY the vidaXL Garden…

UPDATE 13th April 2026:
Following my review below, Customer Services at vidaXL have been superb.
They contacted me very quickly and we've been communicating since.
I'm very satisfied with the outcome of this and I very much hope that this product can be improved.
This was not the first item I purchased from vidaXL and following the understanding and kindness shown by them, I will DEFINITELY be buying from them again ... just probably NOT a giant planter LOL

This review is about the vidaXL Garden Raised Bed Galvanised Steel 320x80x77 cm Grey

I cannot state clearly enough just how terrible this product is. It is unbelievably difficult to assemble and impossible not to scratch and dent it in the process.

The first thing you have to do is spend countless hours removing the nasty film from every panel, all 20 of them for this size planter.

To get the 77cm height two panels have to be overlapped. Try keeping that together whilst overlapping another set of two, as well as putting a bolt through two holding posts one either side of the two sets of panels. It's utterly ridiculous. The holes are incredibly hard to align.

The design, material and poor construction is horrendous.

I am astonished by such a poor product from the Netherlands.

I guess I should have known how bad it was by the cost.

Okay so I have complained and would NEVER purchase this product again or recommend it.

Right now to tell you that I'm a 69 year old, unfit and overweight woman. I'm 5' 9" tall (I used to be 5' 10"). I've told you my height because I believe it's important.
I have assembled this diabolically bad planter on my own. Yes I know that once you've actually bought the damn thing, the ridiculous instructions advises 2 people to assemble it. This information would be useful BEFORE purchasing it.
It has taken me sooooo many hours, tears, pain, frustration and despair to do it, but it is done.
IF I WAS SHORTER I HONESTLY DON'T THINK I COULD HAVE DONE IT ALONE
I'm hoping that it will last at least 5 years after all of the blood, sweat and tears putting it together.
If I could have afforded to lose £80, I'd have thrown it away.

My advice DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE

Do not use this company.

Do not use this company.
I am a very reasonable person.
I bought a product from this company.
It did not arrive.
Over several E Mails confirming my address there was still no delivery.
They inform me that it is an issue with the courier.
In no way is this my issue.
I have asked them for a refund several times and I am told they wont refund until the courier company returns the item to them.
Again as previously stated this is not my problem, they have still not refunded my money.
Nobody at the company appears to take responsibility for after sales but keep telling me that until the items are returned from the courier company they will not give my money back.
Again I would advise against purchasing from them. The prices might seem very good but it is not worth the hassle

It doesn’t look like the photos viewed online. It’s very difficult to erect especially the surround it’s very sharp so need to purchase zip ties to make it safe for a medium sized dog. But once up it’s very sturdy

Terrible company

Terrible company, ordered Sun loungers via eBay which did not arrive so asked for a refund and they sent replacement instead which I did not want. They said to keep as a gesture of goodwill and refund would be processed. Still waiting a month on for refund and they keep saying it is on the way but after checking with PayPal there is no sign. Customer service say constantly the refund is on the way but nothing.So I would not recommend at all.
