XXL BLACK BATHROOM CABINET FROM VIDA XL

I purchased a black bathroom cabinet, when I opened package a part was missing. Called the customer care no, who advised me to email the part that was missing. I then received an email stating they do not have that part in stock and would I accept a partial refund or a £20 coupon !!!. Then you realise they are based in PHILIPPINES!. ITS A SCAM. they do not refund you what you paid, u have to return item at your cost (if they consider return). Thank God for paypal.
I would not advise anyone else to purchase from this company for these reasons.
Return/refund policy not british standard.

Very disappointing

Very disappointing – poor quality and misleading assembly expectations

I’m really not impressed with this product at all.

The pre-drilled holes were not fit for purpose – they weren’t large enough for the inserts, so I had to drill every single one myself just to get it assembled. That completely defeats the point of buying something that’s supposed to be ready to put together.

On top of that, several of the inserts arrived broken, which only added to the frustration and time spent trying to make it work.

Assembly was far from straightforward – this is absolutely a two-person job, despite not being clearly communicated. Every single piece is separate, and you are essentially building the entire structure from scratch.

The product is advertised in a way that suggests a much easier setup, but the reality is very different. Between the poor pre-drilling, damaged components, and the level of effort required, this was a really disappointing experience.

Would not recommend.

Absolute rubbish, this bed frame came in loads of bits. My daughter spent all day building it and it wobbles and creeks like a roller coaster at Thopre Park!!!!
These should not be sold there is no one who could get a good nights sleep on this rubbish!

volcanic rock black dont bother

ordered volcanic rocks for aquarium not delivered on stated date chased told to refuse order when it did arrive i work !!! they would not cancel order when it did arrive it was 60 percent black the rest iwould say not volcanic rock a miss mash of rocks customer service awful no help at all i would say if ordering for a tank avoid if you need to keep track on nitrate ph level if putting more fish in tank i tried to make sure i had time i was let down badly over delivery and the rock quality and it was not the kg i ordered i weighed it think they topped it up with different rocks as not volcanic or the colour since this review i have been backwards and forwards with the company i lost alot of fish the company just kept giving me info that i knew over nitrate and nitrite telling me volcanic rock would not cause this i know that my issue was it was not volcanic rock, i was given a £40 voucher that has now disappeared!! and after their last email stating no compo for all the fish i lost they have blocked me to be able to reply PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR VOLCANIC ROCKS

The worst quality.

The worst quality.
Arrived damaged, customer service send us a link to fill million questions, so picture of damaged board not enough, then they send us email with “ how could you give us a bad review “ I am 9 months pregnant and don’t have time to reassemble our shelves and send it back to you , you better try to improve your quality job and make better furniture for the price you sell.
Took us all day to assemble, millions screws, piece of small paper dots to cover holes, never had such a bad furniture quality.
The funniest thing was delivery driver didn’t want to go through main entrance as easier for him to park his big van near my garden, and he left heavy parcel in my garden. Brilliant job!

Issue resolved

I had a frustrating issue with the quality of products received and initial Customer Service offered (chatbot). Once I was in touch with customer services employee the issue was swiftly resolved and I was happy with the outcome.

Surprisingly good customer service

Just to be clear this review is about my customer experience.
Turns out the Evri delivery driver had delivered my parcel to the wrong address.
vidaXL replaced my parcel - even after the original one had come I to my possession.

Scam! Waiting for refund

Really upset with them.
Really looked forward to their products. For some reason they couldn't ship them. After I contacting them to find out what is going on they said they will refund my money. After several emails and jumping me from one team to another, long story short, one and a half month later still waiting for my refund.
Don't try them at all their customer service and response to your enquires is a joke. Big scam!!!

Nice chicken run, keeps the revellers safe

Positive experience with the company itself. Chicken run was easy to put together. Looks sturdy. Our two feathered girlie's seem happy anyway which is the main objective.

This was a rip-off! But 👍 to their customer service

We bought what looked like a square white wooden planter. Described as “Solid wood pine.” What came was a cardboard box with 20 lengths of wood, some wooden pegs and some screws. You are supposed to assemble these into a square box shape, but it has no base so I can’t use it as a planter…and the quality of the finish leaves a lot to be desired. I paid £65.99 for that - what a waste of money.
Clearly VdaXL thought so too, as they have offered a 50% refund. Partially restored my opinion of the company.

Comes in so many little pieces to put together. Definitely a two person job. It’s a flimsy frame and the screws don’t hold the frame together that well. It creeks and isn’t sturdy. Unfortunately, doesn’t seem to be worth the money.

I've ordered twice now from vidaXL and pretty happy!

I've ordered twice now from vidaXL - it's hard to find 'affordable' wood furniture these days (apart from IKEA) and I'm pretty happy with the two pieces I've got from here. Is it the best quality, no, but I like the clean japanese/scandi style design of the pieces I got and the fact I can stain or paint the untreated pine if I'd like. I didn't have to break the bank either. Assembly was also pretty straight forward and only needed a screwdriver and hammer.

Great product, great value & good service

Great product. Great value. Arrived quickly although not as stated by the company but they sent communication to apologise and keep me updated and it still arrived within a week.

Much cheaper than alternative products at similar standard. Very happy with what I received.

you get what u pay for

well they look ok for a quick cheap kitchen but if you expecting luxury go for a more expensive one
all the wood is flimsy looks ok in but I'm have a new kitchen done in the next yr so it'll do till then
I would rate the quality most of the doors are chipped and marked and one is split but under the laminate I'm awaiting replacement well email to say they will

I ordered a Day Bed online but could…

I ordered a Day Bed online but could not put it up straightaway as decorating. When I came to put up the bed there were missing parts and also wrong part sent. I contacted the company with no response to date. As this company is attached to B&Q I believed they would be reputable. We live to learn.
