I like the sourdough for toasting, but don’t thinks it works well for sandwiches

Really good quality, lovely choice.

I was shocked to find that the seeded sourdough loaf I ordered arrived as HALF a loaf, not a whole one.
On top of this it had way TOO MUCH seeds in it, to the degree it was "heavy" and without the "bounce" I so love about sourdough. It was so much so that I did not enjoy eating it and threw it out !
Then there's the price ! Way way too pricy - not only because it wasn't to my liking but also compared to good sourdough bread I can get on the high street bakeries locally (and then there's the cost of delivery...).
To be fair, the bagels I ordered were good even though the Poppy ones were drowned in excessive seeds. Too much !
Will I be ordering again ? NO !!

Bread has a lovely flavour and its great to get proper sourdough.
Photos arn't so honest.
The difference between the photos and the actual item you get is a little astounding, especially considering the price.
Plus if you ask for it sliced, you get less bread.
If you look at the photo of the small tin loaf, beautiful, artisanal, 12 slices.
What you get though is 6 slices of a square large loaf, sure its tasty, but very industrial looking.
Photos are pretty fictional.
Toast is lovely.
If you start selling what gets photographed I wouldn’t mind it being so expensive.
Cant make 12 slices of toast with 6 slices, so £6 a ‘loaf’ starts to get pretty unsustainable.

i ordered the country bread for the freezer , and a selection of bagels ,
The Country sourdough loaf was delishious , and i ordered 2 , 1 didn’t make it to the freezer as it was delishious. the sea salt and rosemary bagels were ok . The customer service , very good , and replied promptly with some queries . i would recommend the bread

The quality of the bread is unbelievable! There is nothing like it in the market. This is real home made bread, not industrial. The subscription system is not great. If you try to update, as I did once, you could end up not receiving the orders. I had to create a new subscription, but apart from that it works well.

Best bagels I’ve had since moving to the UK.

I have not yet receive my bread order, suppose to arrive today Wednesday 4th Feb by DPD , but nothing arrived..
For the price of bread plus delivery charge this is not acceptable. Disappointed

I bought a sourdough starter and it was brilliant. My first attempt at making sourdough was perfect. Highly recommend

Could have done with more instructions on how to use. Had to find out on the internet
