I ordered a sourdough starter. They sent a sourdough starter. It arrived as promised - even though it was just before Christmas. I followed their instructions and am now happily making sourdough. Thank you.

Amazing sourdough bread. Ordered cheese and bread board for Christmas. Cheese was lovely and it came with onion marmalade. This was absolutely delicious. My son and I couldn’t get enough of it. Sorry they didn’t do their spiced Christmas bread this year was looking forward to that. Would absolutely recommend Good in Bread. ❤️❤️

I have been getting the bread for a few months now and absolutley love it. I have a fortnightly subscription and freeze the loafs until I need them. It is full of flavour and I look forward to my toast every morning.
The team are really quick to respond to any enquiries and very helpful as well.

It’s great to find a company that offers proper sour dough bread with no additives, I love the bread and there is so much choices, would highly recommend

The bread is really very excellent and I’m a big fan of artisan and real sourdough options. For many in Uk this will be the only way to get hold of it. It’s astronomically expensive (way more than any other artisan sourdough I’ve ever purchased elsewhere). Even so, the bread is truly wonderful so if you live somewhere without access to real sourdough, it’s fab. And sourdough bagels changed my world! My main reason for a low score is due to the website being appallingly clunky and hard to navigate, coupon codes that are promised and then fail to work, plus a fairly poor customer service response by email. Eventually compensation offered but the team often don’t even understand the query so it’s frustrating to deal with. Occasionally the bread is burnt or missing items but they are usually very good at refunding very very quickly for that type of issue which is great. Overall I’d recommend them if you are VERY keen on sourdough (which I am!) and willing to get hold of it at all costs and despite frustrating systems/expense.

Nice bread, nicely packaged, but just too expensive. Around £11 with delivery is just too much.

My last order was the Nordic's rye loaf and it’s delicious , in fact all your sourdough is very yummy .

I always look for small artisan bakeries around the UK as shop bread is so disappointing. My first impression was the packaging and the offer of slicing the bread which is a great help. The seeded loaf was delicious but a little dry. The bagels quite heavy and stodgy

Thank you for your response and apologies accepted. Your bread is excellent and I can confirm now that your customer service is too.
Thank you.

They are excelent (not just good) in bread but awful in customer service. I got my delivery (5 Large Sourdoughs) duplicated (double charged), so sent an email to understand what had happened to avoid happening again and after a week and two reminders I still haven´t got an answer.

We have just signed up for a subscription, after trying a few loafs we decided that eating healthy bread was something to fit in with our organic choices we already have delivered. The flavors are amazing and we like the idea of receiving different breads each week to keep it interesting.I am looking up recipes for using everything up so we don't waste anything.Slighty worry about freezing it but it says it is fine so we'll give it a go.Thanks for another great choice to fuel our day.

It’s wonderful to have good bread delivered! Sadly funds are short now so I’m discontinuing my delivery, but how l enjoyed it. The company are working hard to deliver the best experience and they are so easy to contact and willing to correct any issues.

Our first order arrived and was dumped on our doorstep by DHL. The packaging was obviously damaged during transit and therefore we have no idea whether the items have been tampered with or not. Unfortunately the quite substantial loaves were dispatched in a paper envelope which is a very optimistic choice given the journey its got to make!

I love the idea and add I have only tried one of the sourdough loaves. I also add that service has been really good: friendly and efficient. I'm basing my score entirely on the quality of the bread itself, which I thought was severely under-seasoned. I know the salt-police are everywhere these days, and it may be that the salt content in this loaf adheres to some guidance or others. But while the crust was very nice, and the texture pretty good, I found the taste rather bland. I probably won't bother buying anymore. Of course, I may have had a low-salt batch, or some such thing, but on the whole I like bread with more taste to it than this. As I said, however, this is a great idea. And just honest feedback.

Disgusted
The company was recommended, and as people who appreciate good quality bread and after checking the site, we decided to place an order.
We were offered delivery options, chose the next available day, and looked forward to it arriving, even planning a whole meal around it.
Delivery day came and went, meal plans ruined, and then notified that it would not be delivered until the following day.
Decided to plan the meal for the next day, and had the notifications to say it will be delivered. We waited before preparing the food till it arrived, and after a long, hard day at work, we were looking forward to enjoying the meal. 5pm/6pm/7pm/8pm still no delivery, getting hungrier and hungrier. Then at 8.30 pm, notification "can't be delivered" will be delivered on the NEXT WORKING DAY.
So, not only were we expecting fresh bread a day earlier, we now had two ruined meals and nothing to eat, AND as it's a Friday, we won't get what we paid for until MONDAY!! When the bread is old and stale.
While the company will blame the shipping issue, it's on them; it's on the company to honour their commitment to provide what they say they can when they say they can.
I am furious at this and can't even comment on their bread because we never received it!
Expect a full refund, and will not be using this company again, as their promise of a delivery date is worthless.

We're really enjoyingvthe bread, bagels and rolls every week. Really tasty and fresh. However, the baguette last week was not that great. We expected it to be softer and fresher.
