Simple bet on youre favorite bottle and whenn youre price is the highest you pay and they send you the bottle quick!
Negative: The warn you aboud the tax you have to pay by passing the border (in my case from the UK to Netherlands) but you don't see the exact amound, what you can aspect, when you close on the site!

A fab Auction and probably the biggest in the world. In all my years collecting whisky I've only ever had the odd problem annd they corrected it without any fuss. I love this site.

I have been interfacing with Whisky Auctioneer to get my bottles to their auction securely and safely, and they assisted me through the entire process. They provided valuable insight as to the current market prices for my bottles and every bottle was sold. I received better prices for my bottles than the same bottles that were sold in other auctions.

This was my first time actually winning anything. When I had questions, they were timely in getting me answers.they did a great job in shipping, and it was easy to track my package.

This auction site has been very transparent in pricing and process. They are very communicative and the shipping process is easy and affordable.

I made a big purchase over 5K and asked to split an invoice which was done to me before due to bank daily limits. They never reply to my request after days they reply saying NO and charged a late fee. After I reached out asking for their help. How hard is to split an invoice in 2??? Besides being lazy employers at giving customer service, They only care about making a few bucks and not the customers. Greedy company.

The ease of using the auction is great. There are Whiskey's and brandies that I can't find anywhere else. I have enjoyed building my Collection. I find great value with the auctions.

Whisky Auctioneer is by far the best auction house I've ever worked with on my whisky collection.
Having successfully auctioned off almost 1000 bottles through them, their professionalism and integrity is beyond expectations!!

Great information on items and pictures. Always reply back quickly and packaging done right. Only flaw would be shipping information, but sometimes that can be understandable.

I love looking at all the expensive bottles and then bidding on the ones I can actually afford .
I've also found new distillerys through browsing that I would never have ordinarily have seen or considered.

I sent 3 emails with requested documents (ID + place of residence) regarding the offer price + 2000£.
Never received any reply!

Great experience throughout the auction, there was a small hiccup with the payment the next day, this was resolved promptly and efficiently. Delivery was also quite quick. Very happy with the service.

Bidding process easy enough, and fast efficient payment and dispatch service once you win an item. However I have given them two stars only as the postage is very expensive, at £10 a bottle, plus you get charged tax on this so its actually £12! The other costs involved in bidding are clearly explained, but all the same it adds a considerable amount to the final charge, so buyer beware. I was also unfortunate in that the very first bottle I won turned out to be corked - the cork was totally rotten, broke in half when I carefully tried to open it, even though sealed, and the whisky stank of mildew, so it went down the sink! Again they are up front about warning you about this possibility, but if you intend drinking what you win, or giving as a gift etc, rather than just storing for the future to resell, be very aware of this and adjust your bid accordingly. My purchase was not a particularly old bottle (probably stored about 20 years-ish)) so I was quite surprised when it turned out to be rank!
