DHL could be better. My bags had a clearance exception at the exit airport. I contacted them about what that meant. They responded that the bags were held up. I wanted to know why. Never got an answer.

Yes, the customs process ex Italy can be quite a bureaucratic process and subject to export clearance before consignments can be released for uplift. 15 phone calls and 11 emails later i got my freight 2 days late.
No care or service. Total incompetence DHL Thailand. Although they genuinely tried to assist the whole process was very strssful and time consuming although i provided originall all required doccumentation.
Never agai shall i utilise your business.

Sorry to hear of the complications that you've experienced with your commercial consignment of various electrical items and hardware to Thailand. Unfortunately we don't have any control over the customs clearance process in Thailand. The clearing agent does require specific details from the importer to be able to process the consignment, before it can be released and delivered. Tracking confirms delivery in only 4 working days (including customs hold) September, 19 2018 18:51 local time.
Unhelpful, rude service
I ran into a problem with the documentation and service from the carrier. Instead of guiding me through the process, worldbaggage stopped responding to my emails (even when I continuously asked for help/updates) and then charged me a $55 cancelation fee. When I tried giving feedback on how they could deal with the situation better, they cut me off and were extremely rude and condescending. I would not recommend.

I'm sorry to hear that you weren't satisfied with the level of customer service that you received. Our records confirm the only impediment to collection of this consignment was due to the sending party being unable to comply with the customs requirements in India. The doumentation requirement was communicated clearly and directly to you by World Baggage and to the sending party by the carrier and World Baggage on no fewer than a dozen separate occasions via email and telephone. We have amended documentation as requested, scheduled and rescheduled collections upon your instruction and kept you apprised of the status of the consignment. Unfortunately if you are unable to comply with the statutory and regulatory requirements of customs in India serviceability is limited and beyond our control. Note we have only received instruction to cancel this order today, 7months later…Yes, under such circumstance the cancellation fee is applicable.
Fast, friendly, door to door service!
Would recommend! The team was easy to contact when I had questions or issues and my luggage arrived from Country NSW to Paris in 4 days!

I booked (20/08) and paid to delivery my baggage in two days. On date scheduled (22/08), they were in my friend office where i adressed to them to pickup my baggage. After three days without tracking number, i called them and just was warned that will be in Lisbon until seven days. Today (28/08), i called them, and i receive this answer: “sorry, i didnt find your baggage and dont know where is it, but i will try to find and going to send an email with all info.
I didnt receive email yet.
No tracking number, no baggage yet...

My excess luggage said 5-7 days to arrive. It was not even loaded on to the flight until 5 days after I dropped it off. World baggage spent the next days trying to shirk their responsibility to me. Really unpleasant experience.
