Really disappointed with Argos Pay. I tried to make my minimum payment on time, but the Argos Pay app crashed while I was trying to make the payment. Because of the app problem, my payment was mad... See more

The new app is so hard to use, bring back the old one

The new app is so hard to use. U need a password for that,a passage for that. It takes to long. And u can't select the payment plan u want to buy. Bring back the old app. So much easier to use. And u could pay difference amounts on which one u want to pay. Some payment plans I would like to pay faster so I don't get the interest added. Go back to the old app.

I have had an account with Argos for…

I have had an account with Argos for about 10 years or more, it's now Argos Pay, I made a payment for BNPL and it paid off normal credit & what was left to my BNPL, it left a balance of £100, even though I paid the payment plan that was due, I have paid the full balance that was due, cut up my card and closed my account, I will never use or recommend Argos Pay, why change something that was perfect and now it's a nightmare, trying to speak to someone is so stressful, if I could give 0 stars I would 🙃

Absolutely the worst service ever!

Absolutely the worst service ever. All smooth until they changed to argos pay. Phone system cannot be navigated, letters advising of late fee that I was advised would not hit my account, cannot speak to anyone....
Absolutely awful. Do not use argos card services.....ever!!!

Argos Pay app is a mistake

Argos Pay app is a mistake, it's the worst app, unfortunately I won't pay them because I can't, I can't log in to this app and after many attempts they blocked me... never again Argos!!! and if you want to talk on the phone, you also have to be patient because they don't have time to answer

Tells me I’ve paid my payment for the…

Tells me I’ve paid my payment for the month and shows it on my Argos pay account therefore I think it’s come out automatically as I set up direct debit last month . The next day I get a message to say I have to pay £13 which is say is an extreme amount of a fee for missing the payment as it then showed as pending so I transferred the original payment and fee . Shambles of an app so poorly run.

Terrible new system !!!

Finally changed over to the new system, and now paying off BNPLs is an absolute nightmare.
You cannot choose to pay an individual balance earlier, you pay an amount and then they decide what BNPL to credit the payment to.
Surely I’m allowed by law to clear a balance of an agreement when I wish within the agreed BNPL time.
Absolute shambles !!

Since the change over it has been a complete nightmare trying to order items user name not recognised they send a code you enter it correctly no sign-in, eventually after 5 times you get loged-in , that's if you get lucky , the online account manager and app still show the payments due after you have paid ,unlike the old Argos card you paid a monthly fee , and then 2 days later it would show 00 no payment due until the next month's was due , how can new day not sort this out , it's made a simple procedure complicated and as for the payment options just a con , it's a disgrace once my account is payed off so will I be off Argos will loose out on this move in the long term I'm sure .

This company took over argos card…

This company took over argos card payments what a shambles I already had some BNPL plans 2 ending in 3 months a new purchase with a 24 month instalment plan somehow as a higher priority than 2 big plans ending in 3 months £200 payment and £104 taken off the installment plan ????🤔🤨🤬
apparently
"That's just how the system is set up" and it can't be changed
These morons are going to lose a lot of customers for Argos I won't be making anymore big purchases

Peformed a hard search on my credit file without my knowledge or permission when it changed from Argos Card to Argos Pay. I'm in the middle of a mortgage application and this has caused my score to drop.

Paid off and closed account, I won't be back, don't trust NewDay one bit.

Scam system set up to charge you interest

Don't believe that you are entertaining into a contract with Argos, this is a ropey finance company, nothing more nothing less,I would give it no stars if I could, I have purchased 2 items using Argos pay, one using a buy now pay later account which is over 6 months, I opened this 3 months ago, I recently bought another item with 24months interest free credit payment plan, since opening the second account it is impossible to pay any money to pay off the bnpl account even though it accrues interest earlier, there is no facility to choose which account you pay and it's quite clear this system is set up to charge you interest, numerous phone have either ended in being given the wrong adive from some call center in Asia or if you insist on talking to someone higher up the chain you simply ate informed they can't help you..this is a scam finance company avoid at all costs!!!

Absolute shambles from Argos Pay.

Today I spent a whole afternoon trying to purchase a washing machine on a buy now pay later, using the new Argos Pay app.
After 3 hours of setting, resetting passcodes, usernames, passwords and numerous one time passcodes being texted to me, I was still unable to buy.
What an absolute holy shambles! I will be deleting the app and never attempting to make a purchase from here again.
