been trying to buy this Scotland top for ages, the store never has it in stock, went through Argos, Excellent, got the top, no bother at all. Wonderful. would recommend.

Absolutely vile experience.
Purchased a vaccum and was convinced to take out the insurance. It was sold as ‘accidental replacement’. I was informed I could take it into any store to claim.
It broke and tried to take it in to be informed I had the electrical product care and had to be dealt with by D&G.
This was not what was sold to me by the sales assistant and not the leaflet that was attached to my receipt.
Absolutely did not care that they had misold insurance, which I find absolutely appalling. It’s a FCA violation and just vile crooked behaviour.
Argos is dead, I’ve never done this before with any store but I will absolutely not make another purchase with Argos. I have no faith in them anymore, just another scammy company preying on their customers.

I would like to make an official complaint against the incompetent people you hire for customer service. I have ordered a fridge on 25th of June with the order number 262361191. Which was suppose to get delivered on the 1st of July. I took a day off work to accept the delivery as it’s a fridge and my wife wouldn’t be able to lift it in. No one bothered to deliver it that day or call me to let me know they won’t be arriving. No one bothered to call me to inform me of any situation of even try to re arrange a delivery. I waited a few days and as I didn’t recieve any communication from Argos I called customer service who said some poor excuses about a lorry. The representative on the phone said a re delivery On a small van will be booked for the 17th of July. I waited and asked for another day off work. In the morning the delivery driver gave me a excuse of not being able to lift the item on and off a smaller van and that there are parking problems or something which is a absolute lie and nonsense because there are no parking restrictions outside our house. It’s actually free parking on both sides and we have a driveway too. When I called customer service instead of the representative being helpful he told me I should order a smaller item? Who is he to dictate what I need?! How dare he tell me what I should buy. I ordered this item because we have been suffering with a small fridge with 2 children including one being disabled and our current fridge does not work properly. I’ve wasted 2 days off work and had the poorest customer service over the telephone which is unacceptable and non existent. Dont waste your time here!!

Extremely horrible experience.
Bought a washing machine through Argos and the delivery guys threw away a component of the washing machine along with the packaging (they threw it by mistake as they only had to throw away the packaging).
Argos is now telling us buy the part separately from the supplier, instead of offering to provide it to us.
We can't even return the washing machine anymore.
They're great if everything goes smoothly, but if you encounter an issue then you're really snookered!

I bought a built in Hotpoint Microwave via Argos because it clearly stated that the warranty is for 3 years plus 10 years parts. When registering with Hotpoint they say it is 1 year plus 10 years. I hereby expect Argos to cover the 3 year warranty that they and Hotpoint stated would happen.

Extremely Disappointed with Argos Service
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with Argos regarding my recent experience with the purchase of a washing machine (Order Number: 269158915).
I placed my order on July 9th, there was written delivery within 5 days. However, on July 13th, I was informed that the delivery would be pushed back to August 20th! As a single mother with a disability, this delay is incredibly inconvenient, as I have a lot of laundry to manage.
In an attempt to resolve this issue, I ordered another washing machine 268999247 , scheduled for delivery on July 16th and paid extra for installation and recycling. On the day of delivery, the delivery man, Chris, arrived but refused to deliver the washing machine. He claimed he couldn’t access my home due to my neighbor’s caravan. This is an absolute lie! the caravan does not block access at all. In fact, large rubbish trucks come through every Wednesday without any problems.
It seems that Chris made a judgment based on my accent and chose not to assist further. His attitude and lack of professionalism were shocking. I expected much better customer service from Argos, and this experience has left me feeling frustrated and disrespected.
I sincerely hope Argos takes this feedback seriously and improves their service, as I cannot recommend them based on my experience.

Arrived on time. Easy to assemble. I was able to modify it/them to serve another purpose which would otherwise have cost me a great deal more. To clarify, I bought 2, to house my hi-fi gear, by screwing to top shelves of existing units, after adding some parts to bottom of Klaree units. Very good value. Units are solid pine. Ready for varnishing/staining.

Oh my word what a disaster. It's still on going.
On the 9th of June at 18:42 I placed an online order for collection with the item showing in stock. Payment was duly declined due to an issue. I ordered it again the payment was taken then it was immediately returned. The order cancelled. I presume it wasnt in stock and that's why the order wasn't fulfilled and cancelled.
Not to be deterred I then ordered another item. I authorised the payment on my banking App. I was then redirected back to the Argos website and got the processing message. Notification of payment from my bank and the Argos website crashed. It came back up and we were back at the basket asking for payment. No order confirmationcame through and without any formal reference the online chat can't help. I have tried calling but end up going around in circles before I can speak to a human.
The payment had been taken out at 18:52. It still hasn't been returned. I checked with my back today as the payment should have been returned within 5 working days. I went to the local store and the staff were very nice but couldn't help. I despair. This is the very last time I will use Argos.
Well I got a reply asking me to contact them via Facebook messenger which I did only to find after copying on my review and some personal details the message wouldn’t send. You just can’t make this up.
I’ll just put it to my bank to sort out. My advice is stay clear of Argos.

Very disappointed with this product it’s not medium size it’s very small. Bought it to put my toy dog in and she couldn’t stand up. She was forced to lie down and couldn’t turn round. I took it back and Argos refused to give me refund as I’d assembled it. I won’t be using Argos again. Very disappointed.

Second time of ordering on argos delivery. First time, 1 box turned up when there should have been 2! Clearly stated on box 1 of 2. Next delivery was fridge/freezer. Paid for morning slot, got message it was arriving between 7 and 9 and driver would call me. No call came! At 11 I called the help line and they kept hanging up on me. I then had to go to a store within Sainsbury's, the lady who helped me finally got through to someone who said my fridge had not even been picked up from the depot, so it hadn't even been put on a lorry. She said i would receive my delivery payment back, I've received nothing! The fridge turned up a week later! Argos has a terrible delivery service, i shall never use them ever again!!
