I have a quote from a comparison site but when it takes me to the provider the price goes up? Off to a great start. Not the sort of thing to make someone want to take insurance out with this company

This insurance broker's staff are rude and talk about your private information amongst each other as entertainment.One of the employees accidentally emailed me by mistake and in that email made a mockery of my concern and thought it was humorous and shared this amongst colleagues.They have amended my policy and increased the price with out my authorisation or speaking with me.Dont fall for this scam.They initially give you a good quote then after taking your deposit bump up the price.Be ware this is not an insurance company rather a broker who is out to fleece hard working families out of there money.

Update to your reply ! I contacted customer service at the start when I tried to cancel and was told about the horrendous fees for that and to remove someone's name BEFORE my policy was even live - basically your CS team told me to suck it up buttercup, that is how it is, pay it or shut up !

OMG ! Was a nightmare from the start. I tried to cancel BEFORE the policy was due to start and they told me it would cost £60 to do so, even though by law there is a cooling off period and my policy had not gone live. Then when I tried to remove an additional driver as they would not accept policy without her driving licence no (which last company did) when I said, just take her off then. Oh no ! that would cost me over £40 .!!!!!
I tried to do a temporary insurance to add my brother for a week and when I called.
Oh we don't offer temporary insurance !
This is by far the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to use.
Unfortunately I am stuck with them till July, I just hope no one runs into my car.
Not claimed insurance for many decades to fingers crossed as I suspect this shower of chancers will wriggle out of paying anything at all .
There is a good reason they only have 3.9 rating. To be honest I think that is being generous.
Maybe folks like me who wasn't going to bother with a review till this morning when they refused temp insurance, that was the last straw.
Their CS on the phone need lessons in manners too !
Roll on July is all I can say !

Beware of these thieves

They try to find every loop hole to charge you they bump up the premium and the offer a ridiculous cancellation fee

Wow. I wish I could give no stars. Not even 24 hrs since the policy was set up it gets cancelled. The reason the no claims bonus is void and not acceptable. Got told we will owe them money if we cancel and they won't refund the £90 up front fee.
Was quoted £480 for the year and now because of the no claims they want over £1000.
Why take money and then ask for the no claims information and driving lisence number. Shouldn't you take money after everything has been checked and approved. You can't quote a price and then change it and refuse to refund and then threaten to charge more money for a policy. That's theft.

The operator I spoke to was arrogant and unhelpful. I have sent proof of my NCB but it wasn't deemed acceptable even though I sent every document I had that included my NCB information. So he thought it was ok to be rude and belittle me and taunt me saying he would not return my money so I could get insurance elsewhere. He seemed to be on some sort of power trip. When customers are paying good money the least you can do is treat them with respect and explain properly what the hell it is that you want. Will not be renewing with this company next year.

My experience with this company has been truly awful, wouldn’t accept the no claims discount I wanted to use as per my right, so then put the policy up by £75, so now I decided to cancel the policy and been charged £170 which is £14 less than outstanding balance on the full policy, my advice go elsewhere, as there ratings are awful for a reason l.

Very easy and simple to set up our new insurance

Tried to pay online but kept declining my card for absolutely no reason. Tried to phone and was kept in a queue for ages so tried again using different options eventually got through only to have to go through all the same questions again which I had completed online. For some ridiculous reason because I work as a therapist from home they quoted a completely different figure than the original and more than anybody else. All in all, with all the holds, it wasted nearly two hours of my time.

After first lady initially hung up on me, 2nd attempt (Charlie) was first class.

My wife just tried to get a policy with this company and had to spend 30 minutes on the phone explaining inside leg measurements!
Apparently you aren’t allowed to clock up any more miles than the mileage you expect. So if life turns upside down and screws you over and you have to commute more than 100 miles a day you’re supposed to quit your job and say sod it.
Life is tough enough for everyone at the moment. I don’t need a school boy quizzing is about our routines and life choices whilst they sit in their ivory tower call centre in London. Absolutely everything that is wrong with this country.

The speed of processing and the cover that was offered.

When I tried to complete the policy it kept giving me a warning saying I would need extra mileage based on your checks but no indication on how much I needed which frustrated me as I had to amend 8 times before you accepted and even then there was no price difference. When giving a customer a warning message it would be helpful to show what the customer needs to do to correct their details. If you had shown me how many miles you think I needed to put based on your checks the process would have been faster and more user friendly.

You requested proof of No Claims Bonus. You provide a 'portal' to do this; however, every time I upload the proof to your system it rejects it.

I tried to email you using the email addresses you provide (contact us, salesadmin etc) but these return as undeliverable and cannot be found.

So far, a really poor experience. I'll be looking to cancel the policy before it even starts.
