A bittersweet note..

Straight forward service..
The person who brought the bike, don't know his name;
Made an initial comment in a way, I won't say what, that I could tell straight away his mindset & motivation was different & more genuine..

Also the description of the methods for booking services were a complete contrast to my previous experience with Balfe Angel Islington, where in short, bar a couple of individuals' good service, was a P.R disaster in general..

This bike is an upgrade & back-up I wanted, to my Contessa EQ..

İt's beautifully elegant & reminiscing 70's & 80's Italian supercars, with the curved top tube etc, unlike the unstylish male designs, & I'm male..

İt's excellent, agile, smooth & doesn't struggle against road bikes, & in no way inferior to my previous big brand bikes'..
Awesome Bike...

The standard 29" wheels make sense, unless you do over-excessive manoeuvring..

Came in with a bike that needed tire replacement, and had it sorted within 20minutes for the same price as a normal booked in appointment

Unlike some other bike shops, not at all patronising, and did a good job on the repair, with clear communication about when my bike would be ready.

I walked into the shop in Southwark looking for a couple of very specific adapters to fit 160mm rotors on my bike. They told me they didn't normally sell them but they managed to fish some out of their parts bin to help me out.

When my folding electric bike was returned, the cranks were badly out of line making riding impossible. I returned to the shop and it was fixed. When I got home I discovered that the cranks had been put on the wrong way round - left on righthand side and right on left. This could mean the pedals might unscrew and the removable pedal, for when the bike was folded' was on the wrong side. I also noticed the adjustable bolts fixing the wheels to the frame were both the wrong way round making it impossible to fold the bike. I returned to the shop, in the rain, and the faults were fixed.
Surely an expensive service should include a short test ride and a check that the bike can be folded correctly.

work was great. the bike came home clean and pleasant to ride. the staff are friendly, kind and professional. The cost was bit high but service delivered was great.

Most of the self service jobs done by the staff at the store on behalf of myself. That was quite satisfying for a visitor.
