I have a fault with my DR900X 2ch…

I have a fault with my DR900X 2ch contacted support online three times and had no replies, called the UK number explained the fault and was told to fill out an online support ticket that's 4 to request a repair form. heard nothing, so filled out a support ticket again explaining all of the above, still not heard a thing.
Customer service so poor I am going to replace my dash cam with a Nextbase from Halfords, shocking given the camera costs over £400 new.

Bought a front and rear dash for £300

Bought a front and rear dash for £300, "upgraded" from a nextbase. Power issues within first 6 months, did not record my car window being smashed, complained to customer services who have agreed to replace, I have pointed out I am not happy about having to pay for postage (£10), refitting of the new camera and that it has not served its purpose of evidencing damage made to my car. I was not offered any form of apology or reimbursement on postage/ refitting/ purchase costs despite it not holding any of the promises blackvue made when advertising it. Would not recommend.

3.5years and the camera is having…

3.5years and the camera is having issues. Told it’s potentially a hardware fault and need to send it back into them to see. Could cost me up to $180z not worth the hassle. Of course just out of warranty!!! Useless!

Awful DO NOT BUY

Awful DO NOT BUY - you have to remember to view and download any videos same day as if you don’t , you’ll lose it . Learnt this the hard way as needed it . Halfords didn’t tell me this upon fitting . Then the images you download are so blurred you can’t read any of the registration number plates so what’s the point . The videos stop and start so you can’t see the real picture of the incident . I got this camera recommended by Halfords , to me cost wasn’t an issue just wanted the best . Unfortunately got the worst . Going to get it removed and get my money back .

Terrible app

Terrible app, car has been hit twice in car park no footage, yet i have many times got into car and have message impact detected while parked and it is just the door or tailgate closing, biggest waste of money for absolutely no benefit at all.

If you like a challenge then buy a BlackVue if not AVOID like the plague

The dashcams are very good but the app software lets down an otherwise good dashcam
It’s software update after software update the latest app update still has caused more issues and an update followed yet another update within hours
My dashcam is still not working as it should after yet another update which has caused other problems
I feel like taking a very large hammer to my very expensive dashcam
My advice is to look elswhere for a dashcam that is more stable with fewer software updates

Never buy it
It breaks after exactly 2 years when the warranty expires. Bought mine in january 2023 and it broke down in march 2025. I see there are others who have the same problem.

Under ONE STAR!!!

Well, I used blackvue cams often.. but never more than a year. Because every time before the year is about to start upon a new year, it brakes.. shuts down.

Last cam added a fault to its name tho, not only did I just stop working on its own, it burned 3 SD CARS before it stopped working and now it won’t reseve or accept the power anymore. Everything else is fine and checked, the battery is charging and works. I don’t

From very first day had issues with proximity sensor, contacted customer “service” which didn’t helped at all, they were spinning me around like an idiot (pretending can’t understand what the issue is) so I explained them in a way idiots would understand, ghosted after that. Said to myself got me this time and will newer again, will survive issue with proximity sensor and carried on. Currently realised rear cam is occasionally working (mainly not) and therefore for this price tag camera is unreliable, useless and there is no support at all. There is one saying, karma is a b**** and will get you at some point. Pfuj

What a total waste of time bought one…

What a total waste of time bought one of these units and had it fitted paid over £600 for my Bentley Continental GT had nothing but problems you cannot get in touch with anybody by phone. It is like playing batten ball with emails and all I want you to do is try and sort it out yourself. I'm trying to get an engineer to come out and pay again to get it set up but again it's a total waste of time. Don't waste your money.

Don’t waste your money

Bought the top of range model last year. Had it professionally fitted but still had to go back 3 times, the back camera was not connecting, live display not working. Connection problems continued. This cost me over £600!
So later they stop the £2 for 5g! I shopped around and bought a sim only deal.

Now they are saying they are cancelling the plans and more or less if you want the full features then join the top expensive one!

Also if u drive short distances stay away from this. It drained a brand new battery in 2 days! It has a high parasite drain on the battery.

There’s a way round this, pay £300/500 and have a separate external battery!!!

Pure joke, i wish i had NEVER paid for this.

I was going to buy the new Blackvue dr970x lte Plus
but after searching for reviews on blackvue dash cams and finding nothing positive about them at all
I’m not going to spend £670 on a pile of rubbish
So bought a next base 380GW HD for £50 secondhand and it does the job for me,
Thank god I read all the reviews first before coming another peed off blackvue customer
