No support for on line orders

Do not use on line orders for infant clothing or kids clothes.

1. They now use BOLT for orders
No way to send a gift card for gifted package
2. Incorrect information is used when editing ship to address
3. Cannot reach a "live" person to make the change
4. Call and you'll be told to submit a help ticket
5. You submit a help ticket they tell you to call customer service
6. Customer service sends you back to the website and then you're told don't leave a voicemail, AND ticket AND email

WILL NEVER ORDER ONLINE FROM THEM AGAIN

Quality control and safety?

Received my order of 3 bottles of lemon body oil, two were color they should be, one was brownish color. The email seemed to me to have an aloof tone to it and rather than just look up the order they told me to provide them several pieces of info (some of which I had already given in my email to them which they seemed to not have even read). I referred them to said info but also provided them pics and additional info. They even asked me what I paid for the them even though I had bought the items from them!!! They sent me a check as a "courtesy for" less than I paid! They didn't want the item back so they could check as to what was wrong with it (so what happened to quality control and safety?) which lost my confidence in the brand. Last BB purchase doe me.

They do NOT do returns for any reason. I ordered 11 4 pks of lip balm. They sent me single lips balms. I asked to return items because they charged me 48$ which was way more then I would spend in store. But I thought I was getting a deal because of the 4 pack situation. They would not refund me any money for their error or take any returns. Wish I read these reviews before ordering from their site.

The worst company I have ever had to…

The worst company I have ever had to partner with. I placed 10 orders separately and some were completed and some were cancelled. No email letting you know the order was cancelled! Then when you call customer service, they let you know that you need to contact your bank because of the billing address. BUT all the orders that were completed and cancelled had the same billing address. I re-ordered the products that were cancelled, and the same issue occurred. No email notification and terrible customer service. Don't waste your time.

Please stop producing the peppermint lip balm. I have never had my lips feel and look so dry. Waste of money. Took me a while to realise what’s causing this so no money back

Dreadful unprofessional company

Dreadful unprofessional company who don't want to know if you have a problem. I've had a serious reaction to the lip balm I bought and because I didn't buy it online they fobbed me off and said they couldn't do anything! You try and log into your account that you've made and it looks like they've blocked you! Very unprofessional indeed .... steer clear of the products if you're unsure how your skin etc will react as they don't want to know!

Bought Burt’s Bees lip balm with vitamin E and peppermint and was so disappointed as peppermint was so irritating .
I got it because burts bees have good products and use natural ingredients .
Well this particular one with peppermint I didn’t like ,perhaps different one is better .

Two orders cancelled after "trying to source stock"

Twice I've ordered coloured lip balms from this company's UK website and twice they've mucked me around "trying to source stock", then twice cancelled the order despite still showing the items as available on their website. You can't reply to their emails either. If I could give minus stars, I would. Avoid.

The worst customer care

Burt’s Bees has the worst customer care I have ever dealt with! It’s impossible to speak to anyone about returning an item. They want you to submit requests but have computer glitches and after two weeks and several emails back and forth I was told I could return a few of the items but not the sale items as apparently they were final sales which I wasn’t aware of and do not see on my receipt plus I had to pay $5 to return. Not so nice emails received also. Their pajamas are skin tight in my little granddaughters arms. Would not recommend Burt’s Bees for all these reasons. There are too many other reputable companies to buy from.

Undelivered Christmas present, change your couriers..

Unfortunately Burts Bees use Evri as their delivery company. This meant that even after paying extra for next day delivery, the order was not delivered. Evri tracking just states returned to sender.
I dont think i was able to determine that Evri was their delivery company prior to placing the order. Had i known, I wouldnt have placed it.

Avoid - appalling customer service

Appalling communication and customer service. Items missing from order. I phoned and was told they were coming from elsewhere, then received an email 2 days later to say my order has been cancelled. Yet I can still order the items from their UK website. I emailed and 5th December Millie said in the email "I am happy to add £10 credit for you?". 7 days later and no credit in my account. Will NEVER use again. My advice to friends and family is to avoid unless you want to be disappointed. Burts Bees over promise and under deliver. Zero rating

I applied Burt’s Bees skin lotion

I applied Burt’s Bees skin lotion. It must have gone bad!; it had a rancent! It had such a bad odor when I applied it that I needed to take a shower to get rid of the smell! I attempted to call the company to register my complaint. They told me to call back tomorrow. I explained that I wasn’t available then! I did not think that the product was that old. No idea why there was such a stench! Not to mention their poor customer service; their was no way to contact them in a convenient & timely manner!

I spent enough to receive a free gift

I spent enough to receive a free gift, only 1 as I hadn't spent enough for the other. Apparently I was supposed to add this at checkout!!!! Whatever happened to a FREE gift? I have NEVER had this problem with any other supplier.
Therefore I shall no longer purchase any BB products from anywhere. Its disgusting, disappointing and a bad business ethic

Disgusting customer service

We got a voucher from them for our mother for her birthday she tried to use it it wasn’t working we have tried for weeks now to contact their customer service to get a new code or an activation for the one she has not only do they lie when they say they will contact you back when you call to chase they hang up on you and keep avoiding the question and passing it off disgusting service would strongly advise to stay away from the company of theu can’t resolve something as simple as a code not working and providing a new one

Everyone should try, but has different effects

I think burt's bee's effect on your skin is different for everyone, but personally it is my number 1 lip balm! As soon as I first used it i felt an instant improvement on my dry lips. It's a great, natural lip balm that everyone should at least try.

Missing item and false promotions

I recently made my first purchase on Burt’s Bees site May 27th, and I received everything by June 2nd, which was fairly quick. I was excited to receive everything, which I unfortunately did not. I signed up for text messages I believe and used code SURPRISE for a free gift as a new customer. The only surprise I received is an entire 4 pack of lip balms missing. I emailed them June 2nd, the same day I received my items and I still have not gotten a response. I ordered 8 four pack lip balms, and only received 7, and I think that is simple math, so I don’t know what is going on. If they did not have the other in stock I should have received a refund for the cancelled item as well as a refund!! Highly upset about my item and the silence of response from them. Honestly shocked by the poor customer service, I thought they were a nice brand, but they clearly are unorganized and not worth the hassle.

BUYER BEWARE…false offers and shocking response

Wish I’d read previous reviews before spending £44 on a gift for a pregnant friend. Have been duped and conned. NEWBEE code doesn’t work and the free gift for £25 spend did not activate. Tried to cancel order unsuccessfully. Have sent 3 emails with blunt and unhelpful responses. Ive been denied the 3 free products which are overtly advertised on the website. Will NEVER use this site again. It spoiled the enjoyment of giving the gift to my friend. If you must buy their products, I’d advise shopping with Boots. Frustratingly, I could have had my purchases £10 cheaper plus advantage points. But I went with Burts as the free gifts were appealing. This company need to get their act together, money for everyone is tight and they are treating customers with disrespect and arrogance.

LOVE THIS BRAND

LOVE THIS BRAND! Being sustainable and vegan, I always use vegan brands. Secret tip- use coconut foot cream as a facial cream. Once my mom said: only put stuff on your face which you would eat. 99% natural ingredients, filled with glycerin which traps in air moisture, I swear the brutal it sounds, nothing worked for my dry skin so far but foot cream. Foot is the driest part of bodies, having ingredients mixed together that can smoothen this part of bodies, is a struggle, I learnt to always use natural foot cream on my face and my whole body.
