One of the worst online ordering experiences I have ever had. I ordered an item on 03/13/2022 and received order confirmation immediately. I still had not received the shipping email by 03/29/2022 and sent a follow up email to customer service via their contact page. After a week of not hearing back, I called the customer service line and was told that my order had been canceled by their warehouse. I asked why and all they could say was that they don’t do backorders and someone should have emailed me but it just didn’t happen. I sat on the phone for a bit waiting for the agent to determine what went wrong. No one was responding to her to give her the order information.
The woman on the customer service line was great, and that’s the only high point I can give. Everything else about this situation was a mess. They cannot seem to get it together over at Burt’s Bees, and with the abundance of products just like theirs available, I won’t be shopping there anymore.

honestly burts bees basic lip balm i think is the excellent. it is a bit overpriced but it instantly hydrates dry lips. but the other day i bought their new squeezy tinted balm and it smells horrible. it smells like urine. but it has a great tint ill give them that. i bought the watermelon rush and the first time u smell it it smells nice but once u actually put it on it smells like urine. and its expensive. 7.59 Canadian dollars at Walmart.

Is this REALLY good for cracked/dry lips as it has peppermint in it & now my 8 year olds screaming his autistic head off (I mentioned Autism incase it’s a basic medicated sting & he’s in sensory overload but it stings my lips & they aren’t even dry but I like the sensation,may I suggest the peppermint free range 🥴😆

Poor experience! False discount codes
I registered as a new customer for the 15% discount, using code - NEWBEE. At checkout it is showing invalid. Prior to doing this I tried to use the build your own bundle discount advertised on your website and that code expired on 30th Nov! So neither code is working yet you are luring customers in with the promise of a discount!! Poor experience
Burt's Bees lipbalm (Hemp Chanure)
I bought a lipbalm (Hemp Chanure) by Burt's Bees earlier today. I had heard a lot of positive things about the company so I expected to get a high-quality product. While others are excited about Burt's Bees lipbalms, I'm not. There was a sample, but unfortunately I couldn't use it because of these d... corona times. Well, I bought it and it doesn't relieve the tension of my lips.
In other words, I just wasted my money.
Missleading information
I purchased a pack of four lip balms for £11.99 (should have been £15.00. The item looked of an acceptable size on the website and when the box arrived and was quite big I was quite pleased. However, when I opened the box and removed the vast amount of packaging, I eventually fount a minute packed of the balms. I thought it was a joke. I certainly will NOT use this company again and not recommend it

False promotional advertising
My order was ‘20% off a bundle of 4 items’, which included free gifts of lip balm and cleansing towelettes.
The order arrived minus the free gifts. Customer service was totally useless in addressing the issue despite various communication. I was offered £5 credit, which is useless as I would have to spend another £25 to qualify for free delivery and I would hesitate to place another order from a company that does not fulfil its promotions. The 15% discount for first order from joining the ‘Hive’ did not work either. Totally disappointed with the company. Just hoped the expensive products does not disappoint as well when I start using it.
Very sensitive skin - great customer service
I recently purchased the Sensitive Eye Cream from Burt's Bees online. I have extremely sensitive skin and find it difficult to find products that don't make my skin react. Unfortunately the eye cream was no good for me as I had a reaction but the customer service that was provided was excellent and friendly. I was offered a full refund and will continue to use their lip balms and other products!
Disgraceful customer service
I have been using Burt’s Bees products for many years. I recently decided to start buying directly from the company to support them rather than giving money to Amazon or other large companies. My complaint is with their customer service . I am thoroughly disgusted at my treatment over a lost parcel. I have spent 3 weeks of constant emails and chasing my order to be constantly met with obvious delay tactics and then having to get very unpleasant to finally get my refund. It has been a huge waste of my time and effort and I will never buy from their website again. I am deeply disappointed in a company that promotes such an ethical and wholesome image. They have lost a loyal customer and I will not be recommending them to anyone again.
Lip Balm - NOT true to colour
Lip Balm. I would give 5 stars for the moisturising quality but if possible I would have given none for colour. I realise it is difficult to replicate true colour online, but after ordering what looked like a mid-pink colour which turned out to be red, I ordered a pink two shades lighter which, when applied, is coral so I ordered the palest pink which was practically the same as the first one. I'll go back to Lypsyl tinted lip balm.

I bought Burts bees moisturiser and night cream from Sainsburys, for £7 and £10 respectively. I am absolutely delighted with the product, I have dry/combination skin, and in 1 week it feels so much better. Only giving 4 stars as I looked at their website and they want £16.49 for each product! That seems incredibly overpriced considering Sainsburys isn`t exactly a discount supermarket. So, top tip, don`t buy off their website when you will pay delivery as well!

I was really dubious about ordering after seeing some of the reviews, I had been gifted the lip/cheek stick and really loved it so wanted to try more. I am so glad I did order, I chose standard free delivery, ordered on the Friday and it arrived by courier on the Sunday! So quick! The products are exactly what I expected, brilliant and beautifully packaged!! Will be ordering more.
SELLING EXPIRED PRODUCTS
This company has no qualms about sending its customers expired products. I received an all weather SPF 15 lip balm, which expired in December 2019! This is disgraceful conduct, as if I hadn't checked the tiny print, I would have believed that my lips were effectively protected from harmful UVA/UVB rays. SPF's are not effective upon expiry. I will be reporting this to Trading Standards, because they still haven't got back to me, despite assuring me they would contact me within 48 hours.

Ordered product December 14th, 2020 and still not arrived Jan 7, 2021. I paid extra $10 for two day delivery. I cancelled order and Burt's is not reimbursing for my extra $10 expedited delivery fee Horrible customer service. Buy somewhere else.

So disappointed and shocked with the lack of customer service. I ordered a number of items in their Black Friday Sale on 27 November. I was informed that they had been dispatched on 5 December. However, a week later still no sign of the package and no update on the Royal Mail tracking site.
I sent a message via my account and was told that there was an issue in delivery, which there can't have been as I have been at home all the time. I was then told that there was a delay and needed to wait 7 working days to report something missing, which I did. Still nothing, I messaged them again to be told that they weren't sure what had happened and would give me a refund. I tried to phone and was on the line for 40 minutes with an automated voice telling me I was number 1 in the queue. No-one responded during this time and the option to leave a message was not working.
I messaged again to highlight this and was told a refund had been issued. No discussion, no option to respond or receive a voucher, which I would have expected.
Really upset and disappointed. I will not be shopping here again and this has been a deeply frustrating experience showing a real lack of support for customers.
I would say do not use their online shop.
