My experience with Crazy Domains' website development service has been extremely disappointing.
The website delivered was not the product that was originally promised or agreed upon. Throughout the project, I had to repeatedly follow up to have basic changes implemented, including items that were initially promised during discussions with my account manager, Carlos.
Communication was poor, response times were often slow, and many requested amendments were either overlooked or not completed correctly. Despite being advised that the website was ready to go live, there were still numerous issues requiring attention.
I have spent far more time managing and reviewing this project than I ever expected. The overall process has been frustrating, and the final product does not reflect what I paid for.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Crazy Domains' website development services.

After more than 25 years of working with web hosting and domain providers, Crazy Domains has been one of the most frustrating providers I have dealt with.
Their business model appears heavily focused on upselling. Basic DNS functionality that many providers include as standard, such as managing CNAME and TXT records, has been restricted and repackaged as a paid "Premium DNS" service. Shopping carts also tend to include additional services by default that may be free initially but renew at significantly higher prices, requiring careful attention during purchase and renewal.
My own experience involved a lengthy migration issue after a hosting product was retired. DNS-related problems persisted for months and required six separate support requests before they were finally resolved. The process was time-consuming and unnecessarily difficult.
Support quality is highly inconsistent. Some staff are knowledgeable and helpful, while others lack the technical capability or customer service attitude needed to resolve more complex issues. Live chat can involve wait times of an hour or more, and I experienced multiple occasions where the chat session automatically disconnected after a very short timeout while I was working in another browser tab, forcing me to start the process again from the beginning.
I have also found communication around outages, security incidents and service issues to be reactive rather than proactive, leaving customers to discover and investigate problems themselves.
While Crazy Domains may appear inexpensive at first glance, the hidden limitations, ongoing management effort, premium add-ons and inconsistent support can quickly outweigh any savings. In my experience, paying slightly more for a provider with transparent pricing, full DNS functionality and reliable support is money well spent.

I've been with CD for almost 6 years. All had been fine as I haven't had to change anything.
But now I've had enough.
They convinced me to switch my fully functioning email over to their new 'Titan' email service and during migration (which was promised to take just 24 hours, but ended up being spread over weeks) lost a whole pile of my data.
They couldn't get it to work with Outlook either, so their solution was 'use webmail'. No good for a business with multiple email accounts - are they for real?
The result? They are refusing to refund me the THREE YEAR Titan subscription, of almost $400, for a product that is not fit for purpose, that their support team cannot implement and that is of no use to me... after just 8 weeks - pretty much most of which has been spent troubleshooting with their useless 'tech support', not using the product and experiencing downtime in my business because of it.
Honestly, avoid Crazy Domains like the plague.

Jane was able to support my enquire about a domain name activation. She was able to listen and follow up very quickly and work with the domains team to active the name whilst I was in the live chat.

Absolutely horrible customer non-support.
There is no customer support on weekends.
Our website went down on a weekend.
We could not log into our Crazy Domains. I suspect this is a Crazy Domains server issue, as the login button keeps spinning for hours (no, we have not changed our login credentials).
At one time Crazy Domains had the best customer support, which is why we stayed with them for more than 20 years.
Customer Support is now non-existent on weekends, which is when we need support, for updates to our website.
The Crazy Domains home page chat bot tells us to login to our account to access customer support.
But THAT'S PART OF THE PROBLEM. We CANNOT LOGIN to our Crazy Domains account because the login button keeps spinning, not allowing us in, and we cannot call anybody, as we are told there is not customer support on the weekend, then the bot hands up. And we are unable to get support because Crazy Domains will not let us into our account.
This is appalling customer service - or more accurately - non-customer service.
Goodbye Crazy Domains.
And I suggest anybody considering Crazy Domains to run a mile to another Host.

Crazy Domains are scammers. They allowed my account to be hacked and then blocked it, holding my website to ransom , insisting I pay $52xx.00 to have the ban lifted. They keep saying they are attending to the matter but do nothing. Beware of their customer experience operative Renan. He doesn’t follow up. He promised me a resolution in 2 business days. That would have given an outcome by Tuesday. Today after 5 days Crazy Domains sent another fraudulent invoice. Do not trust Crazy Domains. They are scammers.
After waiting 2 weeks they told me the problem was solved then proceeded to bill me $52xx per month. They are lying scammers.

Ive been with Crazy Domains for probably 12 years.
Im about to leave due to the nature of how they add everything to your bill without asking, constantly having to remove things from cart or pay extra for items that other companies include.
Probably been running 50 domains, websites, emails etc with them but over the next month im going to move it all to another provider out of total frustration regarding their commercial system. Constants notifications, constant reminders (6 months out) No one has time to keep dealing with this. It took me 30 minutes to renew a domain. Should take me less than 90 seconds.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with Crazy Domains.
What initially appeared to be a reasonably priced domain registration quickly turned into a long list of additional charges for services that many providers include as standard.
I was surprised to discover that basic DNS management requires a paid "Premium DNS" upgrade, despite DNS management being a standard feature offered by many registrars. After paying a significant amount for this service, I then found that SSL certificates are also treated as an additional paid feature.
What makes this even more frustrating is that my website is hosted on Vercel, which provides free SSL certificates. However, the way the domain is configured through Crazy Domains appears to prevent me from taking advantage of that, leaving me feeling forced into paying an additional $90 per year for something that should already be available.
By the time I add up the domain registration, Premium DNS, and SSL costs, I'm paying close to $200 per year simply to maintain the basic functionality of a website.
Unfortunately, this experience has felt more like a constant upsell than a customer-focused service. Once my current subscription period ends, I will be moving my domains elsewhere and would not recommend Crazy Domains to anyone looking for transparent pricing and modern hosting support.

Reply from Crazy Domains AU
Incompetent support does not know the difference between creation and propagation of DNS records.
Forcing customers to purchase "Premium DNS" subscription just to add an SPF record is completely ridiculous. It is a fundamental security requirement for modern email, not a luxury feature. Without it, major email providers like Gmail and M365 will block or send your emails straight to spam. Locking basic security tools behind a paywall is a terrible practice which you will not see at any other major registrar.
Stay well away.
PS: Wow, what a truly amAIzing response from Crazy DomAIns! I remAIn thoroughly unimpressed by this certAInly sincere and totAl-ly human brush-off.
