DFS Furniture - York Reviews 

I was looking for a recliner chair , the lady who was serving me , showed me so many to look and try out .
I was impressed with her knowledge,and most of all she listened to my needs and pointed me in the right direction , no pushy sales ,just nice and relaxed , I’m very impressed with everything and would definitely go back there again .
And my chair is coming a lot earlier than anticipated which is an added bonus .

Multiple furniture stores and several weeks of searching led to DFS taking Pole position. Choosing a 'small' recliner was the brief and the LayZboy Lakewood emerged as favourite. Staff were were patient and informative. Options well explained... across 3 visits. Unfortunately colour swatches were not available for home viewing but we were facilitated a look in daylight! Gge website failed to help and a phonecall and 3 weeks later, a couple of swatches arrived and we were ready to order.
We found small medium and large recliners, some with risers, but found the Lakewood a good compromise seat size. Ordering was very well supported, in-store staff very polite, respectful and engaged in our needs; not just 'the sales. Discovering manufacture is now in China was a shock! Shipping plus Chinese factory less pricey than Europe? Wow. Learning that made the sales doc folder outdated but already, very 'white... come on guys!
Overall very pleased, took more time due to swatches sample wait but genuinely excited for our new sofa in 14 weeks: interest free too! Brilliant.

We spoke to a lady called Emilie and she was absolutely brilliant. We told her what we we looking for and she showed us 3 options. And took us through all the key areas. When we chose one she was very informative about the sofa and took us through how best to look after it.

I visited dfs today with a view to purchase a new sofa, I had found the one I liked on line, the young man named Eddie asked if I needed any help and showed me to the one I liked on line ,he explained everything to me and I purchased it with no problems, the salesman was very helpful and gets full marks from me.
