Our experience with adopting Albie from Bridgend was wonderful, everyone was so helpful from the call we had from Julie on the Monday and then arranging to come down from York the following week to see Albie and pick him up the next day. Then the following up call on the Saturday to see if he had settled in. Which he seems to, you would think he has been here for ever. I don’t think that you could improve on anything that you are all ready doing. Staff are very professional and knowledgeable.

I cannot recommend the Dogs Trust enough. From the very start, the Team at the Dogs Trust were fantastic. I need to say a big thank you to the first lady I spoke to when I first rang up she was so helpful and supportive. Everyone was so caring and welcoming, at the Centre putting both us and the dogs at ease. The service was highly efficient, and the staff were extremely helpful with the introductions, ensuring we all had the information we needed. The entire process was so straightforward. I'd highly recommend them.
Thank you all for making it such a wonderful experience.

Staff were brilliant, and concerned to make sure my preference was right for me and my circumstances. I particularly appreciated the discussions with Lindsey the behaviourist.

The experience this time was totally different to when we tried to adopt 4 months ago. This time all the staff were very friendly & helpful. When they were interacting with the dogs it was clear to see the happy reactions of the dogs. The staff have great knowledge about each individual dog and they do a brilliant job of caring for the dogs many of whom have arrived at the kennels due to unhappy circumstances.

When we arrived at Dogs Trust in Salisbury we spoke to Lorna first on the desk. She was very friendly and informative and could tell us everything about the two dogs we were interested in. She was so smiley and warm and she took us right through the adoption process. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We also spoke to Kat who introduced us to Sully. She was absolutely lovely, with lots of patience and advice. I found that everyone we spoke to was kind and patient and really wanted to support us. The handover was very thorough and every single silly question I had was answered ! The staff explained how they could help us going forward and I really feel like we have a support network in place. We have brought Sully home now and everything has changed. I can't imagine life without him. I would recommend Dogs Trust for the care and patience they show and how they gently guide and support you though the adoption stages. You can see that they care so much for the dogs and want them to go to a safe and loving home.

On picking up max i felt as if there was a full support team ready to help and advice me on any problems that may occur. but also the staff in the glasgow centre made it a very enjoyable experience also made me personally feel that me and max's wellbeing going forward was the most important thing I will end by saying 5 stars is not enough 10 stars would be more deserved

I have today been completely stunned by the behavior of a representative of dogs trust at my home. Clear message on the door that we dont want canvassers to call, but call she did. I told her to read the notice, at which point she started banging on my glass door shouting ' do you want a dog, do you want a dog, do you want a dog !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told her to leave. I should point out we are in our 70s. We watched her go to our neigbour who are more senior than us. I walked over and told her they have a notice on their door as well. She started shouting at me in the street to go and sit down and have a coffee !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have lived here for 39yrs and have never experienced anything like it. I phoned dogs trust, and was told to fill in a form !!!! Instead I reported this to the police. I'm sure the trust do amazing work re homing dogs, but this is one charity that I would never support if they choose people like that to represent them.

Everything was made clear, felt any questions were answered fully, plus their after ie post adoption service is very helpful should you have any worries or concerns and that they are only a phone call away.

Welcoming, knowledgeable staff who want the best for the dogs in their care. The adoption process was clear and well organised. We were able to arrange as many socialisation sessions between our current dogs and the new dog until we were confident they would get on well. I would recommend the Dogs Trust Cardiff to anyone wanting to re-home a rescue dog.

From the first time we went to dogs trust Salisbury we were made most welcome. With regard to our adoption, nothing was too much trouble for their staff and the help and advice given was most welcome. Such lovely staff who obviously love all the dogs in their care and they work so hard to make things work out in the end.
