updates on accounts are so out of date and can never be amended

Lenders typically update us every 6 to 8 weeks, although some may provide updates more frequently. Because the information on your report comes directly from the lender, we're unable to amend account details ourselves unless the lender confirms that a change is needed.

Unknown addresses Contacted Experian with some addresses…

Contacted Experian with some addresses on my file and made a complaint about them as they was my name but not my addresses and they contacted all the relevant companies with the complaint and most have removed them except the genuine one which I don’t mind as I know they are correct (on my address) and all done by Experian on there own doing and would recommend Experian to all I speak to and I wish to thank them all for the work they have done in removing 95% of all on my credit file thank you

One you reach out to them you are continually harassed for compliments and scoring service agents just for doing their jobs for which I assume they are paid.
Any more of this crap and I'm going to block them.

I’ve taken out a monthly payment for…protection against fraud , not very helpful

I’ve taken out a monthly payment for protection against fraud
I have been a victim of fraud, the only way to contact experian is to write a letter, not very helpful , or they suggest reporting to police, which I have done anyway
People have taken out insurance spearches and services without my knowledge, not on the report , can’t notify anyone except by letter
Credit card balances are weeks behind, not accurate
Not actually sure why I am bothering with Experian

Poor information and advice given

On the 08/07:26 I contacted Experian informing a CC balance was wrong and it had been settled. You confirmed this and informed me this would be rectified which it hasn’t been.

When we replied to your earlier contact, we did advise that any changes would be reflected when your report next refreshes. On a free Experian membership, your report and score refresh for you once every 30 days. This means we may have already received and processed updates that lenders can see when assessing an application, but which will not be visible to you until your next update cycle.

You can check when your next refresh is due by logging into your account and looking beneath your score, where you'll see a message such as "Your score updates in X days."

Your records are out of date

Your records are out of date. They ought to be updated twice a month. . I would have thought AI could handle that. Last month I paid off a loan , it’s taken 6 weeks to adjust. I still have a credit card fully paid up , which is still outstanding according to your records. It makes moving on difficult.

So I had a default registered against…

So I had a default registered against me by southern water for £836
I wasn’t even aware of this default until 10 months ago
When my husband was diagnosed with stage 1V lung cancer
At that time applied for a loan which was refused
So I purchased my credit file as I couldn’t understand why
This showed a the default -
I was on a downward spiral trying to deal with this bombshell but since then it’s played on my mind as I knew I certainly didn’t owe any money to Southern water and felt very angry that an unfair default has exacerbated my personal grief
I reached out to Experian who started there investigations after just ONE WEEK the default has been removed and I CAN NOT THANK THEM ENOUGH
