Non-delivery, promised but no refund after 30 days - downright FRAUDULENT.
I ordered a Hitachi hard drive on 1/10 with a 3-5 day delivery. Checked on 9/10 to see the anticipated delivery was 9-11/10 and decided to wait. Re-checked on 11/10 to find it marked "refunded". No explanation or e-mail. I subsequently checked for the refund but there was no refund.
Someone told me this company are linked to/the same as WAE+ who I have previously reviewed with precisely the same fraudulent modus operandi and I therefore lodged a dispute with my bank.
Sure enough, EXACTLY as the WAE+ order went over a year ago, on 1/11/13 I get this

you. Should you have any issue regarding this, please let us know and we
will see what we can do to try to help further. We regret that we are
unable to refund your transaction and hope that your bank can assist you
with a swift conclusion"
I immediately responded accusing them of criminal fraud as this was exactly the same thing I got from WAE+ a year ago. No reply.
The matter remains with my bank who are still trying to get my money back. These people are fraudsters of the very worst type and they won't be coming on here to say otherwise either.
ONCE AGAIN, I ordered an alternative HDD from Amazon and it arrived within 2 days. Really, stick to reputable suppliers, especially with Xmas coming up.

The company website was very easy to find the stuff I needed, I ordered the hard drive, immediately got the confirmation and throughout the process till I had it in my sticky paws, I got information via e-mail about where my order was up to. Also afterwards I have had no pesky emails about great offers etc

Placed my order over two weeks ago and have never received it. Look at all the other reviews here and it says it all. Check out the supposed "Business Address" for this company on Maps Streetview and you will see that its actually a pub!! Laughable. Total rip off merchants. Will be contacting my bank's FRAUD dept first thing monday.

Lack of Information after placing an order.
You do not receive information after placing an order as follows:
1. No delivery date.
2. No Carrier information.
3. No Tracking information.
You can not arrange for someone to receive your parcel because you do not know when it will be delivered.
A little slow but item is fine and a very good price
I was really worried when I saw the bad reviews however my experience was ok. It took them a week to despatch which was a few days longer than the time indicated when i placed the order, but the item got to me in the end and their price was the best online, so I cant complain.

This company advertises 30mb/s cards and when you purchase they give 20mb/s card. To me this is tantamount to FRAUD.

Ordering great but 45 min wait to speak with customer service not acceptable
Price is good and ordering online is easy. Calling customer service is awful though. It takes 45 mins on average to get to speak with someone. Occasionally you wait for a while and then go to voicemail. Yesterday I waited 35 mins from 5th in queue to 1st but then went to voicemail. It was infuriating. For this reason I'm not sure I would use service again. It's an 0843 number so it costs me money to call which I'm willing to pay upto a point but when I wait 35 mins then go to voicemail it's a joke. This is the type of story Watchdog love.

Ordered on the 14th Sept. Got no confirmation email about order. Money taken out of account immediately. When I did manage to log in the package status alternated from "Stock allocated" to "Dispatched" and back to "Stock allocated" over the course of several days. The delivery window passed by and received several emails stating there would be a "Slight delay". Asked for refund and never replied. Extak *still* has my money after 3 weeks, never delivered and won't reply in any helpful way to my emails. Simply the worst company I have ever had dealings with. Looks like the only way to go forward is for people to contact their bank and do a charge-back if they ever want to see their money again.
Simply awful! This company just appears fraudulent. (look up guardian and telegraph articles about Extak)

BAD SERVICE. DIDN'T SEND ITEM AFTER I PAID 2 WEEKS EARLIER

I always advise anyone when buying online to check a company’s feedback before purchasing from them, on this occasion as they had Trusted Shop status, I was blinded by the price and did not take my own advice.

I called this company to make a product enquiry and was told they had 18 of the item I required in stock and delivery would not be a problem, this was important to me as it was a present and therefore time critical.
I placed the order, received my confirmation with delivery dates which were a long way off seeing as they had 18 of the item in stock. Anyway it was still within my time frame so not a major problem.
Come the first delivery date in my confirmed delivery timeslot I thought I would contact the company to see what was happening as I had not received a dispatch notification. I was told not to worry as the item would be with me by the final day of my estimated delivery date at the latest. On the final day of my delivery window I called the company again to see what was happening only to be told that they could still not give me a date when the order would be dispatched.
I enquired what the holdup was as I had rang before placing the order to verify that they could get the item to me within my timeframe and had been informed that the company had 18 of the item in stock.
I was told that they did have 18 of the item in stock, but they were “in stock” somewhere on mainland Europe and they had not received it from their suppliers.
When I started to have the problems I did check the company’s feedback and found that most of the feedback for this company reported the same problems. I did not have the issues of some though, and was able to contact the company relatively easily.
So in summary, this company advertises products for sale claiming that they are in stock when they are not, and then when a sale is made they order the product in, and then send it out at their own convenience.
The company has said it would arrange an immediate refund (within 7 working days), needless to say that did not happen either, I have now though received my money back.
On Saturday 28th September The Guardian ran this article about Extak. which I am not sure if I can post a link for and I do not want to give Extak an excuse to get this post taken down so just search Extak and Guardian and you will get the article easy enough, also you can do the same with the Telegraph who ran an article on the 29/30th
Personally I will never touch this company again with a very large barge pole and would advise everyone else to do the same.

When something seems too good to be true, it usually is.
I placed my order on 28th Sept. The price was exceptional and it was showing as two remaining. I jumped at the chance and placed my order. I got confirmation that day that delivery would be between 4th and 9th Oct. Given that was a week after, I expected delivery to be nearer the 4th.
The 4th came and on their website I found that my order was still just showing as "order accepted" and not dispatched. I called them, and found out that the product had indeed not been dispatched but that they could expedite it and get it to me by Monday 7th. It is now Tuesday 8th. I have just spent half an hour on hold to find out that firstly they claimed that it was out of stock, then told me that the stock was "damaged" and they couldn't send it to me. They had no idea when they would get stock in.
So basically, this company sits on your money for a week before checking that they haven't sold the goods that you've paid for IN ADVANCE. I think they sold me vapour ware. Isn't this illegal?
If you order something showing as "in stock", then you've bought it, it's yours, they just need to get it to you.
This was not a "pre-order".
At no occasion did Extak bother to contact me with an update as to what was going on, and every time I contacted them, their story shifted every 30 seconds. For example, the operator I spoke to on the 4th claimed their warehouse was in a different country. Today they claimed it was just in a separate part of the building.
When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told that I was already, and to speak to anyone higher would have to be in writing. Classic stalling tactics.
I have now cancelled the order. The operator I spoke to today seemed to be fed up all the way through the call, and certainly didn't like me pointing out just how poor their service had been.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS UTTERLY DREADFUL AND THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES ARE NOT HELPFUL.

I ordered a child's bike a while since and my money was taken, then about three weeks later I was informed the item was not in stock I a still waiting for a refund!
