Absolutely superb.

After having new tyres fitted, I paid Leon to clean my bike for me. I was absolutely blown away. My messy Brompton that I can never get truly clean came back brand new. I simply couldn't believe it. If someone had told me it had been replaced with a brand new one, I would have believed them. Superb service! Beyond all words.

Lost a customer

I was been a customer at this store from before they got their snazzy makeover and have serviced my e-bike there a few times since. I went to check out the prices before bringing my e-bike in for a service and the staff were dismissive and condescending... Did they think after that I was going to come back and pay their exaggerated prices while they can fake smile at me. Needless to say I will be finding another store where getting treated with respect doesn't seem to depend on your skin tone!

First class customer experience

First class customer experience with Mike at Epsom Fudge and Son's.

Within 10 mins of ordering I had a phone call asking if I wanted to collect the bike the next day or wait for it to be posted and what the benefits would be.

Went to the shop to collect. Bike was ready waiting for me. Very good information for what to do if I had a problem and an invite back for its free first service. Really great customer experience.

Fantastic bike shop with excellent customer service

Absolutely fantastic bike shop! The customer service is always top-notch – friendly, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable. As someone who's had a bit of a rocky history with cycling, I really appreciate the patience and support they've shown. It’s always service with a smile, and Dan in particular has been brilliant throughout my cycling journey. Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back again!

I have been going to Fudges on Harrow…

I have been going to Fudges on Harrow Road for many years - unfortunately there is no other cycle store near me. They appear professional and well presented but I have never had a satisfactory experience with them. On my last few visits I had to return to get a puncture re-repaired three times. Today I asked them to adjust my gears. As I expected they tried to upsell me and spend £150 on a new cartridge, chain etc. On the way home once the oil I had put on it had worked through, the gears started operating smoothly ( i hadnt used the bike for a year or two). My view is that this particular branch is thoroughly dodgy.

Hi Tim,

Sorry if we have not met your expectations.
I'd like to try and understand how we can improve please.

I have looked into your recent visit, and can see you had a tyre and tube fitted on the 13/3/25 , and we followed up via SMS after your visit to check all was good. Is this the puncture re-repair your refer to ?

Regarding the gear service , and your comment about upsell to spend £150 , we always try to provide an honest quote as to what the bike needs to work well and perform safely .

If a chain & cassette are worn, the wear rate of these parts will always deliver non-perfect gear shifting, and we would generally suggest replacements. It is worth mentioning we always try and test the wear rate of these parts using wear test tools in the workshop whilst you wait with us when you book the bike in .

We do offer a Adjust Gears @ £40 , where we adjust the gear system and make sure all is working well, but if parts are required , this cost will increase to Maintain Gears @ £60 , plus costs of parts required.

Please could you get in touch with me directly via our website using email, message or call, as you prefer .

I'd like to help resolve this matter for you personally.

All the best,
Murph

Ridiculously overpriced I had paid over £50 for a new chain and gear service, I was then charged another £8 for them just to help me take an inner tube out and I even provided the new one

Hi Daisy , We don't think you visited our location on Harrow Road, and wondered if you visited a different bike shop ?

We cannot find a record of your job with your name, and I'd like to look into this for you. Could you confirm which location you took your bike for service please ?

Thanks, Murph

Really great experience with this…

Really great experience with this knowledgable, friendly and service orientated shop. Went out of their way to be helpful, provide advice and beat the price of others. Let's support local businesses as the giants dont provide this kind of bespoke service. Well done Fudge and sons...

Part supply

Needed a part for our ebike which the original store couldn't/wouldn't supply and the The UK distributors didn't know how to get hold of it either.

Fudges order placed and exact part (at a great price as well) arrived in the post a few days later.

Great service.

Big-hearted thanks to Fudges

I have always found Fudges reliable, do quality work and willing to help where they can, but this morning they surpassed themselves. They diagnosed, what I thought was a major problem with my bike, with minimum fuss and cost. A big-hearted thank you to Gavin, and I think, Daniel. Apologies if I have not remembered names correctly.

Amazing customer service ⭐

Can highly recommend this store!!
Amazing personal customer service and support from deciding on an e-bike to buying it. Also when it unfortunately got stolen after 2 years, they were very supportive and helped me trying to find short and long term solutions for me.
Andrew and Mike were the ones I mainly interacted with for the guidance and support.

It was the best LBS experience I’ve had…

It was the best LBS experience I’ve had in a long while. I needed a new chain fitted and Campagnolo gears tune up ahead of a 100km charity ride. On the phone the courteous store manager, Roy, asked all the right questions to ascertain, as far as possible, the condition of my bike. Booking in was easy. Same day service was offered and taken. On the day Roy explained exactly what they would do to my bike. When I collected it the cassette had also been inspected and cleaned - showroom standard. No extra costs. I can strongly recommend them for road bike maintenance, advice and some friendly conversation about bikes and cycling routes, if that’s what you’d like. Oh yes, the charity ride -the bike performed perfectly :-) 5/5

Great customer service.

Bought my little girl a Specialized Riprock 20 for Christmas from Fudges, they were fantastic. Great personable service from Andrew. Royal mail / Parcel Force let us all down with their poor delivery times but nevertheless I am very happy with the service I got from Fudges. Great people.

Great service and price, poor courier choice

Ordered a bike and was initially told of 48 hour delivery. Called and advised could be up to five days! Fifth day arrived and discovered bike had been stolen in transit. They arranged a new nike to be shipped. Mike and Dave both very helpful through this ordeal although their choice of courier is questionable.
