Helpful staff
We were looking for a bag in a certain colour that was in stock but not on the shop floor. Carol, on till, and Emily, in warehouse, communicated and found it for us. Great service and we were happy to come away with what we wanted.

Very long winded. Not good.
What started as a simple request to cancel a click and collect order has now turned into a nightmare. 3 weeks & ongoing to grt a refund.

Bike purchase
Great experience purchasing a bike for my son. Was able to make contact via phone easily, was kept up to date with the status of my order and was very impressed with Terry in particular who assembled the bike, informed me about how my warranty etc and took the time to explain how elements of the bike work. Terry (bikes) was professional, helpful and just made the whole process run smoothly. Would recommend this store to others!

Shopping with go outdoors is satisfactory
Although the experience was good I was a bit put out by not recieving an email of the tracking details of my delivery to go outdoors which I usually receive I can only imagine that the store and royal mail are extremely busy with the run up to the bank holiday weekend but that doesn't justify not receiving an email. The service overall from go outdoors is very good and it has been for years as I've been shopping with go outdoors for at least 15 to 20 years on and off and I've not encountered many issues in that time.

The staff were present
The staff were present, I spoke to 5 different assistants for help with different things and each of them gave great advice with products, especially the guy who demo’d the camp bed that I purchased. I’m considering investing in an inflatable tent and will definitely come back to the same store when I’m ready to purchase. It’s refreshing to visit a store and have so many helpful people on hand. Well done and thank you for restoring my faith in shopping.

The company website is clunky
The company website is clunky, never allows you to use discount codes. I had to buy another discount card and then get refunded. Delivery is very slow, when you go to the shop the staff don’t seem to want to be there. You get passed around, love what’s in the shop but never an easy experience.

We went into Go Outdoors to buy a cycle helmet and then we saw what a great selection of good quality, affordable bikes they had! We ended up buying a bike and were helped and advised by James T who was great and very knowledgeable. Would happily recommend the products and staff in this department.
