I was really impressed in the Cheltenham store today by the service and flexibility of James.

Boots out of stock but ok online.
While the boots I wanted had been sold just before I arrived at the store I was able to order online and have them delivered in a few days. But I needed to get my discount card registered which I had done earlier.

Completely incorrectly priced my purchase (over £300 spent) and only discovered the error on my return home.
Now have the massive hassle of either traipsing all the way back to Cheltenham to argue the toss or sucking up the overspend.

Came here to switch up a jacket that I purchased (bought the wrong size). Emma was super helpful and polite. High street retail is really struggling in the Uk because of insane levels of tax and the rise of online shopping. One things stores CAN do is make sure shop assistants are pro active with help and advice - and that’s the case here.

Great staff - helpful and personable! Prices very competitive….
We visited to buy walking boots which we had seen on-line and all the staff members we encountered were helpful and polite. James also went on to help hubbie find a suitable t-shirt for hilly walking and although new to the job, he was knowledgeable and found hubbie what he wanted. I think James will prove to be a great asset…..
Additionally GoOutdoors is competitively priced.
All in all a good experience.
