Chris P was great. Had an issue with a stove spitting out fire and melting. Was sure it was over the warranty but brought it in incase it was a known issue. He checked and got it sorted as there was two days left before the warranty expired. Before he checked he was going to give me 20% off which was great, even better that he got it sorted! I've not had that kind of positive experience from a shop in a long time where they are so helpful and caring!

May was a brilliant help when i called up to request a reservation on a pair of shoes. Then when i went to collect they were ready for me to grab and go, perfect customer service!

Got great advice from Chris R on a suitable drive away awning to suit our needs. Fantastic customer service in the Clydebank store.

Problem with the shoes I bought having black material protruding under stitching. Returned them, but second pair had exactly the same problem in the same place. This time negotiated with store and reluctantly accepted the second pair, since likely the fault may have meant the same problem may have occurred should I have a returned the second pair and ordered a third.

Very strange shopping experience at Go Outdoors Clydebank. Purchased a waterproof jacket and had to take it back as it was not the jacket that was described on the descriptions above the fill row of jackets. Now, that may seem a strange thing to do but the difference between the two models was one was waterproof to 9000mm (shower proof) and the other I thought I was buying was to 20000ml. Significant difference but the look very similar. Anyway, took it back with no issues and went to see if I could get another. What a difficult experience!! Any jacket I wanted to try on was fix d with security chains and there was only one member of staff visible in the shop who was struggling to manage the customers. Further to that, you had to google most the jackets to find out their levels of waterproofing . You also had to go on their website to find the price of most of them as well. In the end I gave up and will go elsewhere.

Go outdoors is an amazing shop, the only thing I will give them a 1 star for is this, if you place an order online and are directed to download the SHOP app... 'DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT' firstly, it doesn't track your parcel but does send alerts regarding your direct debits from your bank, NO THIS IS NOT A JOKE, this is what happened to me, the bank has been contacted to make sure there is no strange activity in my account!.

I got wonderfull service today at the till from a boy called Cieren, lovley smile and even when I sort of complained about how much my bill came to, he was very nice and made the whole experience of spending my hard earned cash enjoyable . New pair of waterproof hiking boots. He knew his stock inside out as well as all the technical aspects of each boot. Gave me plenty of time to try different boots to make sure I got the right ones. Very impressed!

Excellent service from Ross C in the first instance he identified the issue and offered to fit a new inner tube / valve there and then. It helps as a member to know you can drop in and get quick and affordable repairs.

Needed replacement spokes, initial contact with a young man on the shop floor,who was more than pleasant, couldn't help so he put out a call for another assistant who certainly could help and did, exactly the type of staff any company needs to succeed, excellent.

Staff were very helpful and polite.
