I needed water proof walking boots and needed help .
Deacon & another (more mature didn't get his name) assistants were great .I'm happy with advice about wearing boots in & I've got what I wanted . Great job.
Please sort your air conditioning out ,its not right for staff to work in those temperatures

I visited the Arndale store yesterday for some running trainers. I want to say how impressed I was with the your lady who assisted me. She was patient and knowledgeable she offered a foot scan for the best shoes. Although I didn't purchase them yesterday I will deffinatly be purchasing from Go Outdoors as they have a great Membership scheme and also because of the great customer service I received yesterday afternoon thank you

Simon, who works in the bicycle section at GO Outdoors (at Ancoats St, Manchester M4 6DE), was very kind, helpful, and professional. He was the main reason I decided to buy my bike from this shop and order it online.
I had many other options and could have bought a bike from different shops, but Simon’s explanations, patience, and helpful advice convinced me to choose GO Outdoors. As a foreigner who has lived in Manchester for more than two years, I have sometimes felt that customer support from British people can be less welcoming toward people with different backgrounds or accents. However, Simon made me feel valued, respected, and listened to as a customer.
He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and helped me understand the best options available. His patience, kindness, and supportive attitude made the whole buying experience very positive and satisfying. Simon has clearly been doing this job for a long time and deserves to be recognised as one of the best GO Outdoors staff members. He is especially supportive and patient with customers who may not be British or who may need extra explanation.
Thank you, Simon, for making this purchase such a satisfying experience , not only because of the product, but because of the way you treated me, explained everything, and helped me make the right choice. You are very kind and supportive.

Carmen at the ancoats store was amazing. She helped with a return and the system for that doesn't seem to be the best; nonetheless she went through multiple routes to solve problems and ensure I could refund it onto my care not a gift card
Great experience

What can I say? Janet and Craig were the definition of a Dream Team. Janet did the rails, Craig manned the desk. Two cogs working in perfect unison as part of the well-oiled GO Outdoors machine. Worth a visit just to meet this iconic duo in the flesh. Janet knows those rain jackets inside out and Craig will make you feel like you just stepped in out of that rain into his warm fireside homestead and gave you some hearty soup. Highly recommend.

Visited Ancoats store rather than looking online to buy new hiking boots. Was given excellent advice and happy with my purchase, but disappointed there wasn't a ramp anymore to check the fit on a gradient. Has previously been a big help for such an expensive item. Also found the customer toilet surprisingly poor, no paper towels, broken drier, random broken stuff on the floor etc

Whilst the service was ok, started to check out and the customer in front returned with a security tag on an item more than once after setting alarms off, staff member requested another member of staff who didn't appear which in turn in the confusion I was charged twice for one item at £8.50, I guess my own fault for not checking the receipt, I will shop there again just human error

Craig is a nice staff and being very helpful to handle the return of products for me. The T-shirt is not in a good quality and the animal pattern faded asay after first time washing it, but I still like the who batch of products i bought from here

I went to pick up 2 recliner chairs but when I got home the cushions were not with them. I had to ring the store and go back for them. A distinct inconvenience and not great service and not what I expect from GoOutdoors!
