I've used this branch several times over the past few years and each time I find professional, courteous and friendly service. Well done.

Good customer service. Staff were friendly and good communucation. Sent me an Email and called me when my car was ready to collect, so I didn't have to contact them to find out when my car was ready.

Highly recommend this garage! I took my car in for a full service and MOT, and they did an excellent job from start to finish. The team was professional, the work was completed to a high standard, and the pricing was very reasonable. It’s hard to find a trustworthy garage that offers true value for money, but these guys nailed it. I will definitely be using them again!

Great service at the King St, Oldham garage. Friendly staff, very knowledgable and welcomed me and helped me perfectly.

I brought my car in to have a number of free checks, 10 point car check, steering/suspension, exhaust and brake checks. When I dropped off my car the receptionist kinda complained that I was having too many checks and that some of the free checks were already included in the 10 Point check, which they were not as I had checked before booking. I was told that even though they were free, and that many people get them just because they are free, they were only for when something was wrong with my car. I told her that I had not used the car in nearly 6 months and that I wanted to check everything was OK as the battery had gone flat as it had been off-road for such a long time, plus noises from wheels and brakes. The VGA/ABS warning lights had also flashed, locking the steering wheel but I neglected to mention that.
After drop-off, I received a miscall from the Autocentre and immediately phoned back but was left hanging on the phone for almost an hour and a half waiting for someone to answer. I even contacted Online Chat for advice as I did not know if there was something serious with my car or if it was ready to collect. The Chat person was unable to contact the Autocentre, so I just gave up. When I collected the car, there was a tag on my key ring, with 'to (sic) many checks' written on it, which I thought was quite rude and unprofessional. The quotes provided for suggested work was also excessive and priced at the high end rather than providing a range of affordable options.

This is now my go to service station, very reasonable price, excellent staff, very friendly and they get the job done. Easy to book online to make an appointment at your chosen time which is excellent as i needed a weekend appointment. The service and staff were so good I joined the Halfords members club. Well worth it.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent customer service. Explained the work required and all my options, felt had my best interests. Sourced tyres at a reasonable price. Great quality of work. Would recommend.

Awful service. I have been using Halfords Mot for years. Recommended to my daughter who used them and they blew up something in her brakes whilst testing them so she had to pay to have them fix them. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and used them. They charged me £60 for a diagnostic on my car even though the diagnostic was required for my car to pass! Quoted £400 for the repairs. Went to my local garage who charged me £0 for the diagnostic (which was a blue tooth device and took 39 seconds) who said they can do the repairs for £300. I then had to pay again for an MOT re-test. Will never use this rip off company again. All they care about is ripping people off for anything

Had an air-conditioning problem on the car needed to find where the leak was and the auto Centre did a test but unfortunately they could not find the leak as it may have been behind some panels. They did point me to the part that was at fault. Great service.

Booked MOT and service at Stockton Halfords Auto centre (national tyres) and they couldn't have done more to ensure it was perfect. Customer service is excellent. Car was handled carefully and price was reasonable.

Perfect service from start to finish

Have used Halfords multiple times for MOT's and tyres and they are usually OK.

However, this time, I had an MOT booked at the Sutton Coldfield Auto Centre for 24th September at 4:50pm, this was cancelled as their MOT tester doesn't work this late. Why is the option on the website?

I rescheduled for 24th September at National Tyres and Autocare Four Oaks, I was called 90 mins before my MOT to say the emissions tester was faulty. Rescheduled for 26th September at the same place. Was called 60 mins before my MOT with the exact same line I was given before. Not sure if this was true or they couldn't be bothered to do the MOT late in the day. Ended up cancelling the MOT as the service all round has been awful.

The only good thing was Kiano in the Customer Support Team through the website. But I likely wont use Halfords again now

Halfords in Newhaven were efficient and professional. My MOT and service were carried out quickly, there were no hidden costs or any attempt to have me agree to get work completed that was not deemed necessary to pass its MOT. I was given a breakdown of advisories, advised of the urgency with which this work needed to be carried out and given a clear breakdown of the costs this would involve. All in all, I was very satisfied with the service that I received from Halfords
