I have just purchased Travel Insurance with them and needed something clarifying, they answered nearly immediately with the answer. If this is anything to go by I will be extremely happy.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT purchase a policy from this company!!!!!! They have taken almost 2 months to settle my very SMALL claim, their claim handlers RIGHT PATH CLAIMS have used everything possible to try to avoid settling this claim despite me providing reports & receipts for lost luggage for 8 days. I had to put in formal complaints & a huge number of emails back & forth to try to settle this, I have had to claim twice before for medical expenses from POST OFFICE travel insurance & never did they put me through what HOLIDAY RISK have put me through-please avoid purchasing from HOLIDAY RISK

Unfortunately we had to make a claim against delayed luggage, 3 days, the claims are so difficult to make,I gave up, wish I hadn't wasted my money on buying the insurance in the first place. Lesson learnt.

Having had my holiday cancelled by the operator. I contacted Holiday Risk to discuss my options for the related travel insurance. It did take a week to get a reply by phine but from then on it was first class service all the way. I could have cancelled for a full refund or, as I chose, trabsfer to a future holiday already booked. This "ne" holiday was for 3 weeks so I agreed the additional premium. The documents arrive by email within the hour. On checking the medical declarations I noticed and error. Contacted Bobby at holiday risk by phone who agreed it was incorrect and that the amended policy would arrive within 24 hours. This did via email and after a further discussion it was agreed that a new amendment be sent. This again arrived within the hour. "Bobby" had asked that I contact him to ensure all was now correct which I did. Imagine my suprise when he offered a refund of this additional premium as a gesture for my delayed corrected policy. This refund was received within 48 hours. Great great service and special thanks to Bobby for his understanding and cooperation.
Very well done indeed.
Outstanding customer service…
having postponed the holiday until 2022, the travel insurance became not necessary so I asked for it to be cancelled with a refund. Surprise, Holiday risk agreed for a full refund which in this day and age is customer service of the first class.
Will use them next year for the thrice postponed holiday.

"An exemplary example of customer service"
I purchased an annual gold insurance policy in early March.
The policy was due to commence 23rd June (one day before our departure 24th June).
I was notified that our flight had been cancelled for the 24th June, to which I rebooked another flight for the 21st.
I then realised that this would affect our insurance cover.
I rang Holidayrisk, and was put through straight away to a very helpful charming man.
He took my details and within literally minutes confirmed our revised dates of insurance cover.
All the revised documentation was also emailed to me confirming this.
What an uncomplicated excellent service, during these unprescedented times.
Not only that, a fair and competitive insurance quote provided for our annual trips.
We certainly will not be looking elsewhere for quotes on renewal.

I insured with them 6 months before my trip to India this October. Obviously this period was covered but when the trip was cancelled I checked the policy which stated there would be no cover if I travelled contrary to HM government advice.
I e-mailed them requesting a proportional refund. Received a phone call the same day with a 50% refund offer.
Not bad seeing I'm over 70 and have to pay quite a lot for holiday insurance.
Rip off merchants
Paid this company £246 for travel to USA. Flight was cancelled by British airways because of travel ban to USA. Holiday risk refunded me £105.23. Don’t know if this is right but it’s all I got. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
Do not respond to calls and emails
I have been trying to amend the dates for my holiday insurance as my trip to Mexico has now been postponed to next August. I have called several times and not received a call back as promised and also emailed several times and just receive an automated reply, not happy
Holiday Risk Insurance company you must be joking, Throw you money over your left shoulder, you will at least recover that. Don’t use this company!
I have always taken holiday insurance annually, last year we took out a annual Gold holiday insurance Policy with Holiday Risk Insurance company who seems to be part of a group, unfortunately having never claim off any insurance company in my life due to the Coronavirus 19 situation we had to cut our holiday to New Zealand and Australia short due to the Australian Government bring in a strict 14 day isolation policy for anyone entering the country just a couple of days before we were due to fly in.
Having to fund flights home from New Zealand instead of our planned flight from Australia, I thought at least we are covered for early return home, no not according to Holiday risk assessors (TCF claims). They say they won’t cover any of our losses and say we didn’t cover our selfs for a pandemic !, the Holiday Risk web site didn’t mention pandemics on their web site any where when I brought the insurance (although they have now change their web site !)
Don’t use this company, it seems they don’t pay out and just want your money. Please don’t get ripped off like me, I am several thousands of pounds out of pocket because of them and intend to take them through the Courts when this terrible situation with the County is over.
