Great site for anyone with health problems

Very easy to navigate site and input information.
One of the few insurance companies I tried that could look into my condition and insure my travel with how I am at the moment and advice from my doctor on travelling.
Would recommend them for anyone struggling to get travel insurance.

complained previously about call…

complained previously about call handler. not uk based. requested further assistance from uk. just want to say thank you to Leila who phoned today, have not yet
taken out policy [due to external timetable sorting out] but wanted to thank her so much for her expertise, helpfulness and patience.
went beyond the call of duty! expect to be taking out policy shortly.

Time wasted poor underwriting

Arranged call back after being unable to get online quote. Suffer from diabetes and associated issues plus had heart failure and ICD fitted in 2024. Spent over 90 minutes on phone detailing on to find no quote for either single or multi trip. Tried this company simply due to story of how it was started. Whilst on call two other agents phoned trying to give me a quote (both left message on phone service) At the end of the day a waste of time for us both. I am happy to say that I have two other quotes for annual policy having made full disclosure to them!

Incompetent and waste of time

For a company founded from
Personal experience then frankly there is no hope for any of us. Used online quote system and gave up as awful. Arranged call back which took 1.5 hours with someone frankly was telesales and no help. Only to be told I scored to high but offered no help. For some of us life is tough enough without companies like this making it harder. Go elsewhere people.

Extremely difficult to make progress…

Extremely difficult to make progress with an online quote.Subsequently spent 1 and 1/2 hours being interviewed by Insurewith agent, who could not pronounce the medical terms she chose to ask me, and did not show competency for her job. At the conclusion of my interview,the agent told me my application needs to be referred to the medical team.
The next day I secured travel insurance, for 2 persons, in 45 minutes with an alternative company. I note that the Underwriters are the same in both companies,thus the Insurewith agent should have coped with my application.

After a recent diagnosis

After a recent diagnosis, and already having two holidays booked, I was searching for holiday insurance. Many companies stated no cover available or otherws would be either hundreds or thousands.

I was advised to try this company from my support group. You will find the online quotes aren't the best, and may get an error message. But I really suggest ringing the number and requesting a call back. You are able to make an appointment time and date that is convenient for you.

I spoke to a lovely lady called Sarah, she was human not a robot and totally understood the situation I was going though. She showed empathy, was caring and allowed me to take my time in answering all the questions ( there's alot). Sarah was great, I answered all questions honestly and she even said some wouldn't need to be put down on the quote.

The call did take around an 45 mins to an hour, but we did go off topic a few times, I didn't mind this, it was nice to have a 'normal' conversation in-between the serious stuff.

I would definitely recommend this company and will definitely be using again in the future.

Thank you for providing insurance without the ridiculous price tag other companies try to get of vulnerable people.

Impossible to use the online quote…

Impossible to use the online quote request system. Kept getting an error message when I tried to input medical conditions. Online chat can't help with anything quote related and simply point you to the 'contact us' page of the website. After waiting on hold for a very long time, I gave up.

Excellence in Customer Services!

Due to poor internet connection I didn't get around to accepting the £1,500 'discounted' quote I received from our bank; The next day was told to work from home. Just by chance I heard the interview Fiona McCrae conducted. I went online to receive a quote of £821 from Insurewith!! I thought I had given incorrect info for one of my conditions and was put through to a lovely soul - Claire! What a star! I was a little frantic thinking I'd may have committed fraud (and maybe paid too much) but Claire calmly took further info from me, spoke with medical team and rang me back after the weekend and confirmed everything was covered. Claire is a shining example of how customer services 'should' be! Insurewith are realistic, honest and don't take advantage of pre-existing ailments. Thank you sooooo much for saving me a packet!

Cancer Travel Insurance so helpful

This company have a speciality in helping insure people with cancer to get travel insurance. Sadly my wife has cancer. I tried working through online insurance quotes, but the questions left me frustrated, baffled and almost giving up on being able to travel. Fortunately I got the insurewith customer service number and got a human being her name is Sarah.

I explained what I'd encountered with online quote process. Her first words then were reassuring "don't worry we'll get your insurance sorted out". She did exactly that. We talked through in a simple manner the situation with my wife's cancer. Twenty minutes later cover is in place.
Sarah if you read this I can't thank you enough for the calm, caring way you dealt with me. Thank you, we can now have the holiday we wanted in spite of the cancer.
So to anyone out there, I recommend this company, and if you get Sarah on the phone you are in good hands.
One other point, the price of cover was far from expensive.

A fair wuote

After recovering from surgery for Lung Cancer my wife and I wanted a well deserved holiday. Some of the quotes I got for travel insurance were outrageous. Insurewith were a much more reasonable price and we were able to go and enjoy some sunshine

They were a nightmare great ahead of…

They were a nightmare great ahead of travel when I had to make a claim they made it hell. We had to pay on credit cards then fight to claim the money back which took months. We complained which they upheld but it made no difference. They refused to pay for our transport said we could have had taxis but not the hire car which was cheaper with our disabled child was essential. They didn’t help with rearranging flights back and suggested ridiculous alternative we had a direct flight and they suggested one that would have taken over 24 hours instead of our 11.5 hour flight we paid for. Thank goodness for BA who helped us get new flights.

She was patient, sensitive and efficient, and gave me several options to consider. Thank you.

Disappointing customer service

I’ve been insured with the company for a couple of years and thankfully have never needed to make any claim. Emails unanswered, website contact form inoperative and no apologies for the poor service when you do manage to get through on the telephone. Needed what I considered a straightforward response to a query regarding cover on an annual policy and was told that they would have to contact the underwriter and would get back to me within 5 days. Not holding my breath as they hadn’t replied to any emails after 7. Don’t think that I will be renewing the policy and may request a refund for the period that the policy has been unusable due to the pandemic. Avoid!

Realistic prices.

Well after trawling the internet for hours looking for travel insurance that wasn’t going to cost more than my holiday itself. I found. Insure With. Found a good price for us as a couple. Just hope it’s not to good to be true. It’s terrible that your penalised when you mention CANCER. So in the hope that we never need to use you I can go on holiday with peace of mind that we are fully insured. All you questions were more realistic than many other companies. And the site was easy to use.

First I have had to use them in 12years

First I have had to use them in 12 years.
I followed procedure and then needed MRI scan which is not covered on Europe medical E11. Absolutely hopeless trying to make contact. 35 - 45 minutes and then they needed to pass me to case officer. Case officer didn’t phone back. Spent all my time chasing these up. At one I had 3 people phoning at once to see who got through first. Waiting time still the same. 18 hours later still waiting to go mri and move to private hospital. The staff who carried out were great but my wife has had to stop with me as I wouldn’t have any care. I’m in ward of 8 beds that should be 6. No screens, no toilet facilities for patients, they put a nappy on. I’m hospital in Athens near the ferry port. If anyone was to experience this they would see what a fantastic NHS we have
