Great buying experience
I purchased a fox ridgeway jacket for cold winter rides and decided on a xl but realised it would be too big so quickly bought a large which they managed to get to me for christmas eve, although i was way past the last shipping date. The returns process is nice and easy and any queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. So a big thank you, will be using you again!

A wheel rebuild is not normally an issue even if its not been purchased from us, but on the odd occasion there might be issues with parts etc especially if it is a rear wheel electric motor for example. Great service from start to finish
Great service from start to finish. The online experience was intuitive, making selection and ordering very easy. Follow-up emails were informative and timely, and my bike was delivered within the expected timescales. When I opened the box it was immediately evident that our new bike had been wrapped and packaged with care. All we had to do was add pedals, reflectors, and attach the handle bars; all tools were provided. We can't wait to see our son's face on Christmas morning. Perfect service, thank you.

Website descriptions are not great.. advertised as "pack size 30" but only 1 bolt turned up.
Also, price match is not guaranteed, only if it makes sense for them.

Snides offering cheap prices on items they don't stock
Due to an unforeseen stock error the "Clarks Magura Hs33 Trials Brake Pad was out of stock at the time of ordering. Unfortunately this has now been discontinued by our suppliers and we are unable to complete the order"
A Very very cheap reduced price BUT just a trick to get you to go to the site.
Not available now or in the future but still being advertised as available.

I'm sorry that your experience shopping with us wasn't a positive one.
Looking into this, the item you ordered was indeed showing in stock at the time of ordering. However, due to the unforeseen stock error you mentioned in your review, we were unable to fulfil the order. Whilst instances such as these are rare, we do attempt to offer customers the option to have the item placed on order with our suppliers at no additional charge when possible. Unfortunately in this case, the item was no longer available at our suppliers.
I have also checked our website for the current status of the item on your order, and can confirm that it is no longer showing as available to order, and has since been discontinued by the supplier.
We understand your frustration in this instance. However, we wish to assure you and others reading that it isn't in our best interest to "trick" or otherwise deceive potential customers and would rather people come away having a positive experience shopping with us. Once again, I wish to apologise that we fell short of this on this occasion.

Great GT bike at a bargain price
Great GT bike at a bargain price. Arrived quickly and checked before dispatch. Easy to assemble, handlebars and front wheel plus pedals. Slight adjustment needed to front derailleur mechanism to stop it scraping. This is normal going from workbench test where everything seems OK to riding the bike exerting pressure. Good communication got back quickly to an email I sent. Very happy with bike

Ignore the product images
Ordered something that was different to the images shown on the web site product page. Was informed that the images are “just for display purposes only” and didn’t even get an apology or a message that the images had been updated. So lesson learnt, but I wasted money on something that is not what I ordered and then had to buy elsewhere and wait longer to get it.

My apologies that you had this issue, web images are provided to us directly from the supplier and automatically uploaded, so unfortunately sometimes they do not accurately reflect which version of a product you are buying. With that said the vast majority of them are correct however you unfortunately found some confusion with this one.
I can confirm that our support team responded to your initial email with an apology that you had an issue, after the initial emails from yourself and our support team we did let you know that this image had since been updated, this was within the same message where we mentioned that images are to be used as a "guide only". This is also stated in the terms and conditions of most online websites, on ours it is under the Terms & Conditions - Disclaimer section.
This isn't us trying to get out of anything, but simply us being transparent that sometimes the suppliers can get it wrong which in turn leads to our customers having issues.
From the email thread I can see you were after the full kit - this retails at around £15.99 online, the kit you bought was the £3.99 (RRP £9.99) version.
You are most welcome to return the one to us for a refund if it is of no use yourself.

They couldn't fit Goodyear Eagles but charged me premium price for middle of the road tyres
Took some Goodyear Eagle tyres to be fitted, they couldn't do it so instead they put some middle of the range Vitoria tyres on but charged me premium price. First and last time I'll be using JE James.

Hi Darren – I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t happy with the tyres that we fitted, the Goodyears that you brought in were not compatible with your Mavic Wheels unfortunately (they were far too tight and there was a risk of damaging your rim) and the Mavic tyres that came with the wheels originally are discontinued so they were not an issue. The Vittorias are a tyre that our staff have used successfully and have been happy with, I have tried to reach out to you by phone to discuss some options with you but there was no answer, If you want to call me on 01226 668608 I’ll be happy to discuss it and see if we can come to a resolution for you.

E-bike problem
After long running issues with frame bearings and a few other problems Adam sorted a new bike replacement.We decided to go for another bike manufacturer and we did a transaction to swop,Adam sourced bike at Barnsley store which we’re able to pick up Saturday afternoon,the staff were exceptional and good hopefully trouble free riding cheers Adam and both shops!!
