It’s sad to see a lot of bad reviews...

It’s sad to see a lot of bad reviews for Just Eat. I personally had an experience I’ll never forget after I had an issue with a meal I had ordrered. I got a phone call from one of their executives who had heard the recording of my conversation with a customer service rep and thought that I should’ve been given better service. He gave me a refund and a significant credit towards meals. I’ve never had someone, especially in upper management, go that out of their way to ensure I was given a good experience. The company itself is not to blame, there are many factors to consider (the restaurants, workers, drivers) that play a part. Overall, I think they look out for their customers more than most food delivery companies.

My second horrific experience with the…

My second horrific experience with the app and the customer support that allegedly supports it. I'll never again tolerate that level of inconvenience and the added insult to injury from their customer service.

I was just trying to order dinner.... I ended up having to call my bank to get my money back for an order that was never placed and a customer services that wasn't prepared to do anything about it. An hour later after calling the restaurant, trying to chat w just eat via there lousy app, phoning them, being dismissed and eventually having to call my bank... i'm not only still hungry.... i'm now hungry AND angry.

Boycott Just Eat. There are much better apps out there!

Order elsewhere! Poor Service!

The Driver didn’t speak English and didn’t have a gps therefore was lost. Talking on the phone to him was impossible since he wouldn’t listen when I gave him directions and I couldn’t understand was he was saying as he could barely speak English. 35 mins later Snabb delivery office calls and says he is there and it shows that on her computer. I said that I had been watching for him but no one at all drove by, basically accusing me of lying. No apologies. She was rude, condescending and extremely unprofessional. Since the food would then be cold, I said forget it and refund my $. She then told me to call Justeat. Again language barriers. He put me on hold, he called Snabb delivery and then comes back on the line saying the driver was there. It felt like he was accusing me of lying too! Why would I lie? We were hungry! Poor customer service from both companies. What a way to ruin a dinner when you have company visiting. They should change they’re names to Snob Delivery and JustDon’tEat!

Have had a couple of bad experiences - one order was cancelled 2 hours after ordering since it had not arrived, then bingo it was here (blamed it on the Maharaj restaurant). Next order was paid through interac Feb. 17, Just Eat called to say the order would not be fulfilled since Riley's restaurant was too busy, and now was just told not to expect a refund until March 1st!! Wow...you do realize there are other companies that compete with you right? Skip the Dishes....direct restaurant delivery....customer pick up...we do have choices

THIS WEBSITE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY

Don't use this website unless you want them to take money from your account and NOT EVEN PLACE AN ORDER. Apparently I have to wait 2 to 5 business days to get a refund on MY MONEY and I don't even get the food tonight. Absolute idiots. Never trusting an online delivery/ordering service with my money again - especially not this disaster of an operation.

ORDER DELIVERY FROM RESTAURANTS DIRECTLY, PUT THESE INCOMPETENT MORONS OUT OF BUSINESS.

Literally the worst experience EVER

Literally the worst experience EVER! The driver disregarded the notes I had to use the door to the left as it's another suite. He rang on the doorbell upstairs and seconds after pounded on the door with his fists. When I came out to tell him it's the door to the left he screamed at me saying I'm suppose to tell someone I told him I wrote it in the notes. Seriously doesn't seem like this company does their due diligence when screening drivers. He was a complete maniac. And late! Skip the dishes is way better and you can always track the drivers whereabouts and review them after the transaction.

Just-Eat.ca should be avoided!

This company should be avoided. When there is an issue they have awful customer service. The online chat agents or call centre agents are unable to resolves complaints and have to "escalate" to a supervisor who then ignores those complaints. Their policy is that customer service agents cannot pass you on to a supervisor during a chat or call, and so someone has to call back. They never do. I have been trying to speak with a supervisor for over a month and no-one will take the call. Terrible service.

In my case, delivery was over 3 hours late (the restaurant said that the food was made on time and picked up only a few minutes late, and it is only a 30 min walk away!), the order was wrong and no-one was available on the chat or at the call centre for a further 3 hours, after which I ran in to the above detailed issues. No one from the company has attempted to call me back to try to resolve the issue.

So if your order is wrong, doesn't arrive, is delayed and cold, is mis-charged to your card, good luck. You will get nowhere with this service.

Straight from their Terms and Conditions:

"..Neither we nor the Restaurants guarantee that Orders will be delivered.."

"..we recommend that you try to contact the Restaurant directly in the first instance to discuss the issue.." But the restaurants all claim that they cannot resolve the issues since their contract is with just-eat, so any complaints go around in circles.

There is no mention of the delivery service that just-eat provides on their website. They take zero responsibility but are happy to charge you for their "service".

To sum up, don't give this company a chance. Don't support a company that doesn't care about its customers. There are many other options available to choose from so there is no need to support or use this company. AVOID JUST-EAT.

Terrible Customer Service

I placed an order tonight (Order # 17393955) and the estimated delivery was 8PM. At 8:05PM. I received the wrong delivery and had to call the driver inform him. He said my order should be on the way. I called the restaurant and they informed me that they have prepared my order but no one came to pick it up so I reached out to Just Eat via Live Chat. The representative informed me that no redelivery have been issued. Eventually, the representative reissued a delivery and let me know that my new delivery time is 8:52PM. I got called by the new driver at 8:45PM that he was at the restaurant and there's no order for me. I was offered me a $5 voucher for the inconvenience and I do not feel like this was sufficient to cover the amount of time I wasted waiting for my food and the lack of communication between your team and the restaurant. The representative said that they were only able to offer me a $5 voucher as a redelivery had been issued but the redelivery should have been a given as it was an error on your company's end and not on mine. It should not have been used as a form of compensation. I placed an order with Just Eat for the convenient service and it turned out to be a very frustrating experience.

Worst service

Worst service. No help at all with problems. Had food delivered that had spilled in the bag. Was also cold. Restaurant did not care. Neither did just-eat. I would not recommend them at all. I think there are better options available.

Terrible customer service!!

Just had the worst experience with you guys. For the second time the food was 30 mins late and the food was therefore dried up. When I tried to cancel in advance your customer service took so long to get through to that they didn't cancel it. Then when they finally responded they refused to refund the food and only give me a $10 credit. When I mentioned I didn't want a credit (as I doubt I would have used this currier service again) but at the very least refund me the $10. They said they wouldn't do that and would only credit me. So disappointing. With so many different delivery services to choose from you would expect their customer service to be better to keep their customers happy. Just terrible.

Worst experience!!

I ordered food which never came and they didn’t issue me a refund!!! I spent 4 hours trying to get ahold of someone there to discuss what had happened. They staff could not help me, hung up on me and didn’t see a problem with my delivery taking 5 hours to only have them deliver it to the wrong address and not call me! They said they sent a refund which my bank said they didn’t, please de yourself a favour and don’t order from them!!

I ordered my pizza through Just Eat …

I ordered my pizza through Just Eat which is Orange Bob's preferred method. Orange Bob delivered the pizza at 3 pm when it was supposed to be at 5 pm. Orange Bob said it is not their fault. Just Eat said it is not their fault. They cancelled the order because no one wanted to deliver my pizza at 5 pm. This was a terrible experience especially since I tried two new places: Just Eat and Orange Bob.

rumbles Peterborough review

i order a food delivery for 5.45pm and come at 4.30pm. the lady who brought the food her English was poor and never answered my questions just asked for money and went. one of the chicken nuggets in kids meal was part pink had to be chucked out. i gave rumbles a call they were sorry and did offer a dis count if wanted to use them again which i wont be using them again. chip size was good and fish was and burger was to. just a shame on rest of service. i would like to say to anyone ordering chicken please check it over make sure no pink.

Rip Off Artists and Dodgers of Customer Service.

Somehow my order was doubled but it did not give show this until after payment. I called Swiss Chalet immediately before the order had even been processed and they said it was not their problem and to call Just Eat. I was forced to use their online "chat" which i did immediately until I was cut off mid conversation with a notice that their volume was too high to deal with right now and I would have to try again later. I tried to refuse the food when the delivery guy came but he would not take it back because I had already paid for it. The next day, I called their "customer service" and was put on hold for 10 minutes and then disconnected. I called back and was put on hold again for 15 minutes when a girl came back on and said, "Do you still have the extra food?" I told her I did not and she said, "Just a minute" and put me on hold again, despite my protests. I am still on hold 32 minutes later.

Honestly one of the worst ordering …

Honestly one of the worst ordering systems ever! Ordered food at 3pm and when it hadn’t shown up by 4:45pm decided to just cancel order and go get the food myself, took me 20 minutes with an infant with me, so I’m not sure what these people were doing for the rest of the time!
