Bad delivery experience
When I order it said on web site that our order will be coming in 51 minutes but its already an hour and 40 minutes but our food has not arrive yet, bad experience, I will never ever order on this delivery company anymore, I might as well just cook food it will be ready in 30 minutes instead of waiting for almost 2 hours for this food to arrive, unacceptable service, its too bad there is no zero star, I wont even give this just eat even one star.
After trying Just Eat for a good amount …
After trying Just Eat for a good amount of times now I have to say that I will not order through them again. Either it takes long, or something is missing and it creates a big hassle. I have a lot less problems when I call the restaurants or order online from their websites directly.

I had a good experience with just eat. They came about 10 minutes later than I thought but when they got to my place the food was still nice and warm. The delivery guy was very patient my door bell wasn't working so he actually stood there for 5 minutes in the cold before calling my phone. The order was perfect (I recommend Wimpys on Sheppard Avenue East) they even included 5 maple syrups for my pancakes! Also, the pancakes were massive, I wish I had only gotten 3 I'm so bloated now lol. But yeah, all the specifics in my order the restaurant followed through on, they even gave me extra napkins, forks and knives (I guess they realized the amount of pancakes I got shouldn't just be for 1 person lol and I only got 4!) the home fries were unreal and the veggie burger was quite good. The delivery guy ended up being with skip the dishes though! I have had nothing but really good experiences with skip the dishes. They have an easier online tracking system and their customer service is much better. I ended up asking the online person why did a skip the dishes delivery man deliver this food I order on just eat? And she said because just eat is the parent company to skip the dishes sometimes their stuff will say skip the dishes. Ultimately, my recommendation is for skip the dishes, I ended up using their customer service instead of just eat lol, just eat didn't tell me on the site that my order had bee delivered but skip the dishes is so up to date and on point! I definitely recommend skip the dishes instead
Hands down the worst delivery company
Hands down the worst delivery company. Always late but at least an hour, food spilled, can never speak to anyone live and never compensate for anything. Do not use!
Always very late
I used to always order off Just Eat and it was great but lately the food is consistently late. I'm still waiting on what will now be my last order off their site. Food should have arrived 25 minutes ago, so I called the restaurant for an update and they told me that my order was ready, but no Just Eat driver had come to pick it up. So i'm still waiting and I now have a meeting starting in 5 minutes, with no word back from Just Eat.
horrible , don't waste your time this app
I ordered food from a restaurant that said it was open , I ordered at 3 and stayed up till 5 am . Then at 9 am they say my order was canceled and still charged me.
This app may be cheaper but they are not reliable , go to foodora or ubereats instead , it will save you time and money.
As i also called customer service to just reorder my food instead of a refund and their customer service kept hanging up on me and I got my refund after 8 days......
poor customer services and empty promises
Contacted just eat customer services after a 50% discount voucher did not work, when I first called them I was advised to process the order with the promise that they would cancel the order if the discount was not applied and would receive a phone call back (between 5-10 minutes). The order was cancelled as the discount did not process, I then Waited 30 minutes for a call Which was never returned, called again and then explained to another advisor that the order was cancelled but would still like to claim the 50%, waited on hold for another 30 minutes to be told I would receive a call back with an amended discount code, still didn't receive call back even after waiting an hour! I used to use this service very often however after this customer service I am definitely not ordering from this company again!

The communication between this company and the food company sucks... ordered food from a place beside my work and paid for delivery because i am the manager and i cant leave the store and they bring me my food with no fork or knife.. how the hell am i suppose to eat ... call them and they say they cant leave either so i guess i get to eat my $20 meal with my fingers... next time ill pay my co worker to just go pick it up...
Bad service, bad customer service
My order was over an hour late, and when I went to call the help line, they told me to use the online chat. I went to their website, and it then said that their online chat didn't work during those specific hours. I then went to call them again and an automated voice put me in a queue of 17 callers, where they on average took about 20 minutes to get through one caller, until after an hour I hung up. It's been almost two hours since the stated delivery time and my food has still not arrived. I will not be using this service again, and I regret spending money with them. A serious drain on energy when ordering food was supposed to be an easy fun option on a Friday night.

Horrible service
Horrible service. Ordered food, paid, never came. Call and text feature for help is a joke and totally unprofessional. Don't be fooled by marketing. Worst company for service ever.
Waited almost 2 hours for food...
I ordered my food at 5:50pm, given an estimate of an hour.
I get a text at 6:48pm being told it is "on the way".
The restaurant is an 8 minute drive from my house. You hop on the 401, take the first exit, and my place is RIGHT there.
I waited until 7:22pm to receive my order. It was cold.
When I asked the guy what happened, he told me he got my food at 6:30pm, but there was lots of traffic. That was all he could say. I don't want to come across as being rude but waiting almost 2 hours to have food delivered is pretty crap. Won't be using this service again. Thanks for the experience.
Don’t use Just Eat if you actually want food
They cancel your order a long time after placing with no reason given.
Made a $110 order and they forgot one …
Made a $110 order and they forgot one of the items. We called both the restaurant and Just Eat, both not wanting to take the blame and blaming each other. We were told by the restaurant that the driver forgot to deliver the item but it was packed. Just Eat said they will come back and deliver the forgotten item. After 45 minutes, we still did not receive it so we called back and were told that they were not coming but we were never informed of this until WE called THEM.
They did not want to refund the money, instead, give us a $10 coupon which we will never use as we will never use this service again. We argued until they agreed to refund the money. Worst first experience ever.

Just Eat will not let us JUST EAT! Unfortunately, we had a very complicated and unacceptable experience with this company when trying to order food several times. No matter how many times we tried to place an order, the order was declined. After calling our banks, we found out that Just Eat would accept the payment in our bank and THEN reject the payment for no reason whatsoever. It took us two hours+ of back and forth calls to place an order for our food ALONE. Foodora or UBER eats are both much more reliable. Stay away.

We order chines food at 5:45. This was after struggling to place the order. Then we got a text at 6:48 that the order was on the way. 7: 15 we got our food.
Food was great but website sucks for ensuring the food comes at a speedy time.
So in he end, don't use "just eats" unless your can wait a long time for your food.
Use anybody else.
We ordered food, it was an hour late, bad but at least for me hardly enough to leave a lasting taste in my mouth, let alone write a negative review online. We finally buzz the driver in and I go into my hallway to wait for the food. After 5 minutes of twiddling my thumbs, my neighbor comes out of the elevator and informs me that a food delivery person has gone ballistic in the lobby.
Apparently Just Eat hired a crack head who spilled my food all over the floor and was screaming in our lobby. I go down to tell her that we’re not interested in the food (which is now resting against the wall, with some of it on the floor) since it’s been on the floor. Words were exchanged and though I was hungry, it was pretty much comical at this point.
After ~45 minutes of being on hold with Just Eat (it’s a Friday, so sure its busy) they tell me initially that the driver’s bike was stolen and she was lost. I informed them of what happened and they apologize to me, tell me they’ve let her go and will issue a refund + credit. A month later they never issued any kind of credit.
To make matters worse, it appears their account database has been hacked in some regard because we just received a phishing email for a fake order. If you’re familiar with these, they usually include your name – but this particular one had information specific to the account we created with them (including our home address). Contacted customer support and they didn’t seem too interested, so we’ve deleted our accounts with them and will no longer be using their service.
Really just use any of the other 100 food delivery alternatives and avoid this company like the plague.
Once they have money in their pocket
Once they have money in their pocket, they will not care about you. They even remove comments to hide negativity on the big chain restaurants they get paid from. Very sketchy business.
