I've been using this website for years straight and yesterday I had to fill a complaints about unacceptable quality of food including spit inside the box that i throw out completely. Not just that the food was cold and they even sent me wrong item that values lower than what I paid for. I contacted the restaurant directly and all they offered was a very small amount of credit from them. So I decided to ask just-eat.ca for customer support and the first time they ignored me. and second time they are calling me a and I am lying and they are not able to give a refund. Both the restaurant and this website services are unacceptable and should be considered scam. You can go ahead and use it, its not a bad website, but when bad thing happens they will not care for customers as long as the money goes into their pocket. Be warned.

I never leave bad reviews but this was so appalling that I felt that I had to. I have deleted the app and cancelled my jut-eat account because I was so upset (I have been a customer since the beginning). I ordered my meal at 5:56. I prepaid and received an alert through my phone that it would arrive at 6:40. At 7:20 I finally called the restaurant to find out where my order was. They said that it has been ready since 6:10 waiting for a driver to pick it up and that I should call Just-eat to find out what was wrong. I did and was put on hold until 7:46 when I finally reached a real person. She told me that they were having trouble getting a driver so she would refund my money. I said that was unacceptable as it was now 8:00. No one had contacted me to say that there was a problem. I had to follow up myself. If I had not done so would they have simply taken my money? This is very unethical. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and the woman on the phone said that that was not possible. I am very upset and I warn others not to use this unethical company with the worst customer service that I have ever seen. Quite frankly I felt sorry for the woman on the phone as clearly everyone that she had spoken to that night was angry that no food was being delivered and she just kept saying "I will refund your money". Buyer beware!
Just eat stole my money then lied to me five times.
I bought a meal. They took my money but never sent the meal. I called once they said they fixed it I never got my money back or my food. Same deal with the next four times I called. I called five times being told I was going to get a refund. Five times I didnt. Plus 4/5 of them where unbelievably inept at their jobs. I lost hours of my time and over 20 dollars on a meal that was never delivered. 10/10 would recommended that you never use this site.

I ordered a meal today,
I got a text saying my order was on the way and with tracking information. From the time my food was picked up by the driver until I was delivered to me was 31 minutes. When I got my food it was stone cold, the burger was so cold the cheese had hardened again and the onion rings were cold soggy and chewy and the drink sat for so long that all the ice had melted and it tasted weak and watered down.
The driver finally called me from outside the back door of my home and claimed that he couldn't find the house number because he lost his GPS signal so he had circled the neighborhood a few times looking for the number, which incidentally is ON THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE!!
So I contacted customer service through the tracking text message I got, talked to 2 different reps and was told they were with Skipthedishes and not JustEat and they couldn't help me with anything so they would have someone from JustEat contact me as soon as humanly possible. I waited 5 hours and no one had contacted me, so I tried again, and this time the rep asked me to hold on a moment while he accessed the order, and 10 minutes later the chat was marked as inactive and closed by the rep without another word said.
I don't honestly care if anyone contacts me or not at this point, but you should know I will NEVER again order with your service, in light of the cold food and long delay received today even after giving the driver a 20% tip up front. Further, I will make sure I advise everyone I know to never use your service or anything affiliated with it because of the experience I had today. I am a QSR manager myself and I deal with delivery drivers and fast paced order filling on a daily basis, and quite frankly the service I received today was nothing short of disgraceful

The delivery guy was over 30 minutes late, to the point where I had to call the restaurant and ask about my food! The restaurant said that the food had been done 20 minutes prior to my call, and the delivery guy still hadn't shown up. By this time my order was already 20 minutes late, and the restaurant offered to bring my food. When the food arrived, I didn't realize it was the "just-eat delivery guy" who had finally made it to my place, thinking it was the restaurants worker, I tipped another $5.
This brought the tip, for the unreliable delivery guy, up to $10, which he did not deserve, because my food was freezing cold! When I called just-eat customer services, after a 46 minute long phone call, I was offered a $10 voucher in the form of an e-mail for the inconvenience, which I never receive!! The driver was supposed to bring back the tip I gave him, which also didn't happen!
Very unprofessional and very ungrateful people at just-eat.
More like just-wait-and-eat-cold-food.

My food was over an hour late, it was mushy and inedible and there was meat in one of the dishes. I had requested no meat (I'm a vegetarian). They said that night they were going to credit me a voucher for part of the meal (I couldn't eat any of it). The voucher never arrived so I checked in two days later. They gave me two different codes that both read expired when I entered them. They then said it would work in the next twelve hours. The lady I chatted with was nice but it's just one thing after another. I won't be using them which is unfortunate because I was excited about it when I signed up a few days ago.

I placed an order and 40 minutes later got a called saying they were behind and would be 30 minutes late. They were 50 minutes behind and my kids were so hungry. The restaurant said they did not get our order well after i placed it.

Terrible experience. Placed an order for $60, confirmation email said it would be delivered at 6:45pm. At 7:45pm I sent a chat to Just Eat. It took the rep over 15 minutes to find out our food had been given away at a different address. I believe the driver just took it to a friend's house, I mean who takes food that isn't theirs? I was initially offered only a $10 credit but insisted on a full refund. I'll be watching to make sure it comes through and fortunately have the chat transcript to prove it was supposed to be issued. NEVER AGAIN
Cancelled orders and a month for a refund
I used to use this app a lot, then cancellation or issues with double charges or randomly declined cards became more and more common for me. Now I just use the app to find restaurants, then order directly through the restaurant. It's usually cheaper too, especially with free add-ins like drinks for direct orders from some places
One order of mine was cancelled over two weeks ago. Customer service told me the charge reversal was done the day of the order, my bank says they're received no request to reverse the charge. Now my bank has filed a dispute with just eat but it'll be another week or two. For a 40$ food bill, that's a lot of effort.

I spoke to a lady on 27th August at 10.20ish. She was called Kristina and resolved a big issue after an owner of a takeaway said he was coming to my home. She did all she could considering the takeaway wouldn't answer the phone. She was fantastic with excellent customer service skills and resolved my problem with professionalism.
The take away was Bella Pizza in Darlington. The owner of the shop was disgusting and laughed at me repeteadly. He also confirmed my address so I knew it was the silvery drivers fault. He then said he was coming to my home with the delivery driver. I have a 2 year old in my home and had to ring just eat to try and prevent him from coming as his attitude was that bad on the phone i didn't want to come face to face with him. You can see in my account after 2 hour and 20 minutes my order was cancelled and I had to make another order with a different restaurant, which I wouldn't have done if I had lied about my food being delivered.

I hate how the delivery drivers take no responsibility if food or drinks are missing. Pretty sure it takes 1 minute to make sure everything is there before leaving the restaurant. Happens almost every damn order and then they say oh contact the restaurant. Well what are they going to do so of course Im missing my stuff and now Just Eats is going to offer me a refund for that item. Well, I dont want a refund I want my item and if your going to be so whatever about refunding then at least offer the customer a voucher for the inconvenience. Every damn time.

I pre ordered a pizza for a Friday at 5:50. They delivered the pizza on Thursday around 10pm. I wasn't even at the address, but apperently because the pizza was accepted I still have to pay for someone else's meal.
I called them on the Friday asking where my pizza was, they said it would arrive with 5-15min later. I waited 20min then called them back. And now they suddenly say "sorry for the inconvenience but the pizza has already been accepted" . They made me wait an extra 20min for a pizza they have now decided not to send it out, I had to call them to find this out. I could have had another 30-45 min of my time wasted. Again I never received a pizza today for the time my order confirmation said it would be at my address. Apparently I'm expected to alway be at a property 24/7 cause them delivering it a day early and me not being there is my fault. Sorry that other people do live in the house hold. They never confirmed who they were giving the pizza to either!!!!! Was not me Cause i was an hour away from the delivery location, which is why I ordered for Friday not Thursday . They brought it on the wrong day. So when I get there on Friday at 5:50 I have to have a cold pizza- I don't like cold pizza, I paid for a fresh meal not a microwaved one. again apperently it's my fault because I didn't expect I would have to warn the household that they will deliver on the wrong day. Apparently I still have to pay for something I didn't even get to eat-they forced me to pay for someone else's dinner!!! They said they would send it out and never did!!!! Still waiting for a call from there supervisor, cause apparently they don't have one on the floor at all times- making it so all the can say is sorry for the inconvenience but the pizza was accepted... Again I never received it... But still have to pay that bs... If there supervisor does not call me as promised and fix this. Uber eats now has a new regular customer. They can also expect a lawsuit to be filed against them.

Horrible! I've ordered from Me va me, and it was supposed to be only 45 minutes for the food to reach. I called them after 65 minutes, and they said the food was done on time, but the driver hasn't picked it up yet. It's been over 90 minutes right now, and still the food hasn't reached. Called the restaurant back and they said the driver took the food 25 minutes back but they have no idea what time he would reach. Absolute worst experience. Especially since I have a tight schedule and I'm just waiting to have my meal delivered and had to CANCEL on other plans just to wait for the driver. This is unacceptable whatsoever.
