Legal Issues
A company who owns a company (lights.co.uk) that will contravene UK trading standards by false advertising - advertising a light with remote and then no remote control is provided. They even stated they would send it so I asked my electrician to add the light. Now I am stuck - they won't confirm they will pay for the work to take old light down / add new light on and they won't even send a replacement. The solution they provided: flicking light switch on and off quickly (like a strobe affect) will act as a dimmer. Frankly bizarre - this will just cause
(a) Risk of short circuiting
(b) Additional wear and tear to the light switch.
( c) Dangerous strobing affect
