Not a nice retreated hotel more corporate

Not a nice location water on lake is mostly out then it smells. Hotel staff especially dining room are wonderful. Everything else is geared towards conferences and training- it’s geared towards corporate. Rooms apparently refurbished was very basic and extremely hot - pool is reasonably good. Food reasonable - cooked breakfast dried buffet style. Not a nice get away retreat. Where the resort was is a mystery? A group of concrete buildings.

Disability not assisted at the Lincoln Restaurant

The Lincoln Restaurant has no regard for disabled customers. Despite complaining to 4 different members of staff on the day. We were blatantly refused early entrance to the restaurant so that my disabled relative could make his way up the 4 stairs to the restaurant and sit down. The staff kept him waiting at the top of the stairs despite his three pronged stick which was in evidence. The meal was booked with everyone arriving at the same time so disabled customers were required to stand and queue to access the buffet. Although many members of staff were evident, when needed there was no one to assist, they were congregated around the entrance desk chatting. With one hand disabled customers were expected to juggle a plate and serve themselves as well as collect cutlery. When a tray was offered it was still going to need 2 hands to carry, even the chefs couldn't attract a server to help. The organisation was dreadful and although we complained the lack of compassion and assistance was met with, you could lay the table for yourselves before you collected the food. or English people love a queue, or we have spent a lot of time and money or the ground floor bedrooms. I was shocked and stunned quite frankly at the lack of help and assistance and the excuses my complaints and suggestions have been met with.
