System may be OK in towns and cities but poor on rural roads collecting nudges overtaking cyclists safely and penalties when overtaking tractors and trailers safely. Unable to accelerate to speed limit when leaving a village if on a downward slope.

Hi Andrew, unfortunately, as you say, you will need to speak to your fleet managers at Iceland if they are sending us incorrect journeys in your name, as we can only score the data they send.
In my opinion NOT a very good product
In my opinion not a very good product. Have had to endure this device in a work van for around 5 months now, and I agree with all the other drivers in the business we work for - it is just not fit for purpose. The sensitivity is so erratic in all the pool vans. Maybe on the flats of East Anglia it could just about work, but here in Devon where we have hills (and you guys should know being based here), it is not only impractical and annoying not being able to use the correct revs but bordering dangerous having to change up gear before the vehicle is ready with enough revs, so stalling is a frequent event trying appease this green box ticking device. Nowadays we just have to ignore it for safety reasons, its safer to drive properly and at the correct revs than cause an accident. Getting on slipways to main roads is just nudge-nudge constantly. It encourages dangerous driving from other road users wondering why this van in front of them is driving at 30-40mph joining a main road. We did have an automatic van in our pool which of course changes gears when the engine revs and gearbox are ready (and naturally does not over rev the engine), yet with this device it was pinging, nudging, and giving out penalties all day long. This must tell you something about how you have just got the balance and sensitivity so wrong. You have the basis and right foundations for a device that could give a lot of benefit, however the way you have configured this is just not fit for purpose. It was quite distracting looking at the device in the corner of the windscreen, now we just cover it with a towel or rag so we don't have yet another distraction and annoying beeps and nudges at around 1800rpm. I'm sure it ticks some green boxes for the company to get their ISO accreditations and so on. You have been trading as a business long enough now to have made something a lot more robust and practical to a wide range of different vehicles and weight loads - however, you are just not there in my opinion and many others I discuss this product with. It was a toss up between a rating of one and two stars - I chose two for having the right idea but, can't give it anything better than this for all the reasons above, and unfortunately I could go on and on about the flaws in this product. To finish, please don't bother sending me a reply trying to justify it with the ridiculous rubbish you have spouted to other bad reviews. I suspect if you didn't buy good reviews by doing cash prizes and other stuff like that then Lightfoot's rating would almost certainly be down around 2-3 stars.

"Hello, Adrian, and thank you for the feedback. I won't repeat things we often say to reviews like this, but I will point out a couple of things.
We give away cash and other prizes all the time - tens of thousands of pounds per month. That's a key part of what we do, not a way to buy good feedback! Our belief is that by rewarding and motivating the person behind the wheel, it will lead to improved efficiency and safety. That's borne out by the results our customers get in reducing emissions, fuel consumption, vehicle wear and tear, and accidents.
The other thing is that we don't expect anyone to drive at 100% efficiency all the time. It's just not realistic. That's why the Elite Driver score (that you need to qualify for prize draws) is 85% - it allows for the reality of the road, where you will sometimes have to accelerate or brake quickly. Your device is there to advise you on how to drive most sustainably, and will warn you before giving you a penalty - but you should only follow its advice when it's safe to do so.
We regularly look at calibrating device sensitivity for different vehicles. If you feel yours is really off, let us know the details of your vehicle at support@lightfoot.co.uk, and we can look into it, as we do make every effort to get Lightfoot to work for your specific driving setup. You can also speak to your manager about your fleet/vehicle settings.

Height and width restrictions through…
Height and width restrictions through bollards and bridge overpasses, they are not specific to ths size of vehicle that i am driving.
Impossible to achieve 100% driving score on any journey, moreover, speed score is affected when travelling on motorways even though my vehicle is restricted to 68mph.

Utter garbage
Utter garbage, completely unfit for purpose and uses incorrect information. Can’t differentiate between a loaded and unloaded vehicle. Has no consideration for temperature and drivers personal health and wellbeing. Issues idling penalties at outside temperatures of -9°C.

Hello, thanks for the feedback. Lightfoot is there to guide you towards a more efficient driving style - it is not telling you how to drive, just how to drive more economically. Over time, driving in this way becomes second nature as you get used to accelerating more gently or changing gear in good time, for example. As this happens, you'll hear the audio prompts less and less as your driving will naturally land you in the green more often.
Idling penalties are optional and are chosen by the fleet if they feel it's necessary to remind drivers not to leave the engine running unnecessarily. If you believe these are not applicable to your journeys, please speak to your management team to let them know.

You are correct, Lightfoot is making sure the vehicle remains in its sweet spot, but we also understand that there will be times you need to drive inefficiently, which is why we have set the Elite Driver score at only 85%. This allows for any times like coming off a slip road onto a motorway etc, when you need to speed up.

The Lightfoot is fine if you only do…
The Lightfoot is fine if you only do short low speed journeys,absolute rubbish if you have to try and join a motorway or dual carriageway as it is in the red before you can get up to a Safe speed to join the traffic and this has a big impact on your journey scores, I suppose it is better than having a camera recording you driving all the time!

Please remember that you are in control of the vehicle and should use your own best judgement to drive safely. Lightfoot does not measure your speed but the efficiency of your driving. There are times where you must drive inefficiently, for example joining a motorway from a slip road or at a roundabout. This is why we set the Elite Driver score at 85% to allow for real world situations.
