I bought tiles from your Brendford office in person, when I asked if it was possible to return the leftover of this type. The young man confidently said yes it was. I was offered a delivery for the following morning between 8am and 1pm. The goods arrived at 5.20pm. My workers were paid for a full day for nothing.
Following a telephone discussion I was promised to have the price of the delivery refunded.
I called the office two days later to return the leftover tiles and pallets, and get the delivery cost refunded. The person I talked to told me to take the pallets back in person, which they would take back in the shop. He said fine, no problem and I would also get the delivery charge refunded then. In the shop the manager was also present who denied everything, and said that this type of goods in this packaging is not returnable, and neither are the pallets, and that I must have misunderstood what the person on the phone had said, and anyway written word counts, and at the back of the invoice it is written that they do not take back goods once the package has been opened. Of course they had no intention to give me the the promised refund of the delivery charge either.
I don’t even understand, Is this company „The London Tile Co, 194 High St, Brentford, Middlesex TW8 8LB” the one with all those positive reviews, or is it another one? "

I am very pleased with this site, the range and prices. Samples are even free with no delivery charge! (others charge you for samples...)
staff very helpful.
I purchased a couple of Lustrolite boards. Not only were they by far the cheapest i could find using this website compared to other shops or online, but the delivery was with me in just a few days. I'll hopefully use the company again and I'll certainly recommend them to people
Ordered 4 samples of tile for our outdoor tiling project. Samples came within days. Company also followed up on order to ensure we were satisfied. Excellent customer service & quality of samples. Looking forward to placing order.
We tiled our kitchen and utility room using Amazon Black Riven Slate tiles from The Tile Source (part of The London Tile Company) a couple of weeks ago and it's absolutely stunning! Beautiful tiles with very helpful staff who helped me work out how many tiles we'd need to lay the pattern we wanted (made up of a mixture of 300x300mm, 300x600mm and 600x600mm). So pleased we're going to be ordering again soon to tile the hallway in the same tile/pattern.

I've been looking around for some inside/outdoor floor tiles for a long time and found the perfect floor tile at the London Tile Company. I was concerned that i may have to wait for the tiles to come into stock which would delay my building project. The customer service team were very quick to respond to my concerns and were very helpful and informative. They even offered to let me purchase what i needed and they would hold on to the stock until i could take delivery of them.
I ordered a couple of samples which arrived quickly. After deciding which tile I wanted I ordered them on line with the click and collect option. I received notification after 4 days that they had arrived at the shop in Uckfield . The staff at the shop were very helpful and even put the 5 boxes of tiles into my car boot. Service from beginning to end was excellent.
I was very pleased with the service provided by The London Tile Company and will definitely be looking to purchase some more products soon.

Our sample tiles came within 48 hours. We have made our choice and are waiting for the builder to tell us how many we need so we can place our order.
Incidentally, the courier company threw the parcel over our back gate as we were out. The box was clearly marked fragile, but thanks to your excellent packaging they arrived in one piece! You might like to have a word with them!

I purchased altogether 42sqm2 of tiles for my bathroom renovation project. They were delivered as promised. I did not order any samples before but I knew what I wanted. The tiles seem to be very good quality and exactly what I had in mind. I hope I have ordered enough quantity otherwise it will be expensive to order any small amount and pay a lot for the delivery. In my opinion they should have a different policy for buyers who have purchased reasonable quantity before and and need a very small amount later on due to some unforeseen circumstances. My project starts in September and hope to have ordered enough.
I intended to give 4 stars but somehow it was published as 3. I would like to change it to 4 stars

I ordered 5 samples of their "Inside Out" tiles ( for our new glass extension ) normally you have to give loads of details and then pay for postage, not with The London Tile Company, no charge or fuss, samples came the next day well presented and labled , I am going to place my order now.
Great products and proffesionally run.

The vast majority of reviews for this company on Trustpilot seem to be about ordering tile samples, this seems really odd??? So I want to give a review of what happens when you actually buy tiles from this company.
I purchased 15sqm of some wall tiles for my bathroom. A few days later I realised I needed more so went back to the store and was told that they didn't have any more and that it would be 3 weeks until the next shipment. I had two choices at this point delay my bathroom for 3 weeks (impossible) or get a refund and try elsewhere. They didn't want to know about the refund and told me they would take a 25% restock fee all because they didn't have stock of a very common 30x10 black wall tile. In summary; bad levels of stock coupled with a very difficult and costly returns policy means this tile shop should be avoided.
TO CLARIFY, I did not buy the tiles on the understanding that they did not have anymore in stock (this would make me out to be unitelligent and shortsighted). Potential customer need to understand what lengths The London Tile Co are prepared to go to to avoid having anyone return tiles. Yes it is true that they were just following company policy in regards to returns; In my opinion though a good business is one that can allow some discretion when applying their company policy. In this instance The London Tile Co should have held their hand up and acknowledged that a 3 week wait for extra tiles was not acceptable and offered a full refund.
Anyone undertaking a tiling job knows that the two of the most important factors in determining where you buy your tiles from are good stock levels and a flexible returns policy.
