Booked a 4 berth motorbike to go with my three chukdren on holiday, the experience with mighty camper and the thl group wasn't most disappointing and negligence behalf of thl to provide the camper they have:
1. Constant water running out of the shower cabinets through the camper. During the period of having the camper we had to lay towels on the floor and wash them every second day by a laundry company. Leaks continue even the shower is not in use
2. Shower had severe cracks in the pan where there is substantial water loss.
3.fridge regularly (every 2ish hours) faults and needed reset. We had to dispose the food twice and leave the camp-site to find a grocery store 50km away.
4. While driving the car every 100km the Mercedes sprinter would display an emergency warning to stop the car immediately and recharge the battery.
This happened regularly on freeways and alpine roads.
The motor home provided by mightycamper had severe functional and safety issues and ith negligent to let a family with three children use their equipment.

Had a weeks rental with these guys. The pick up process was easy and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great week away. The van was in great condition and the drop-off process was just as easy. Highly recommend.

When we picked up our van at thl cairns it was explained to us that this was one of the older van models. Fine, we accepted a fair degree of wear and tear. However, what we found disappointing were: the side door contacts lost contact over bumps and round corners thereby triggering a dashboard alert to ring and display, the kitchen drawers would burst open round corners as the retention pins were worn, the fridge door needed to be closed in particular way, there was a nausea- inducing smell of old milk from the child seat when it warmed up. Yes, the van engine never missed a beat and was quite economical when driven with just a little care. The Aircon worked well. The sleeping was pretty comfortable. But the run through of the van was rushed and the faults listed above lead us to conclude that the van was turned around too quickly with little or no attention paid to maintaining the non-mechanical parts of the van.

Good experience, but Mighty is the brand for their oldest campers, so expect lots of noise inside when you're driving (we had to yell at the top of our lungs for the kids to hear us), and broken/ageing bits and pireces throughout the interior. Did the job though.
Drop off experience could be better, pretty manic.

We were very disappointed with our campervan. The linen was smelling bad (probably didn’t dry properly).
The beds and seats were full of sand.
The dishes were dirty too.
So we lost time in our first day to clean everything.
I didn’t realize when we picked up the van because we were excited to start the roadtrip and we were more focus how to use the campervan.

The camper was in great shape and clean. All personnel were great to deal with and very helpful. All in all we had a great experience. Thank you.

Very friendly staff, patient and relaxed.
The camper was functionally equipped; there was everything we needed.

We had a great time on our trip. Things that could make it better is stickers placed on the hot water switch noting that the black toggle must be in the neutral position than switch the hot water on then switch the degrees on the toggle if this sequence is not followed the hot water will not work. Also a sticker on the drivers door noting: please ensure you open the drivers door once stopped so the vehicle battery does not go flat. Would also be very handy to have a battery jump starter in the camper for the time you did not open the drivers door. Other than those issues that took three days of our holiday to sort the idea of travelling in a mighty camper is fantastic as it has all the things you need. Shower toilet plates sheets blankets and so on. Thank you. Have a great day

The on road service was excellent
but
We experienced several unpleasant problems that we would expect from a serious company (to which we paid a considereadle sum that ther would not be so many such malfunctions.) especially in vehicles intended for long-term rental like ours.
1. The delivery of the vehicle at the chack in , was not particularly professional For us, (who are not experienced in campervan trips),
A. There was no comprehensive explanation of the toilets and the cassette: what the parts are; how to empty it; etc.
B. There was no comprehensive explanation of the gray water connection
C. The battery in the living part was not charged properly (half empty).
D. The water tank was not full.
E. The gray water tank was full.
We found out about all of this just when we arrived to the first campsite.
F. The fuel tank was not full (less then half . Luckily, we noticed and then they sent someone to fill it.
2. At first and for several days, there was a stench from the toilet and we didn't understand why. We called the on road service and he directed us to the technician .we had to deviate from the route we had planned to reach him . He repaired the cassette.
3.There was a strong smell of gas. As soon as we opened the gas cylinder before we turned on the stove. We contacted the service who directed us to your center in Melbourne and then we had to go back to Melbourne stop the trip and change cars.
4.after few days The new car did not start, we called the service and a technician came to the campsite arrived the next morning and replaced the battery.
5. The second car also had a problem with the toilet cassette and we had to deviate from our path we planned and to drive to the company in Hobart and they fixed the problem.
6. There was a strong water leak when filling the water tank and flooded inside the caravan . We had to be without water in the caravan for 2 days (since it was the weekend and no one repairs on the weekend). At the end of the weekend, we deviated from the route again and went to fix the problem.
7. The refrigerator did not work properly, it did not stop making ice and the water constantly leaked onto the products. We decided to ignore the problem , not to lose additional days on repairs.

We travelled one way from Melbourne to Adelaide in a 6 berth Apollo. The vehicle drove beautifully and was very spacious with an excellent kitchen and bathroom. A minor issue we experienced was the inability to connect Google Maps with Apple CarPlay, (Bluetooth or USB).
You do need to check that the van has enough sheets and towels for each week away. You also need to check the condition of the waste and water hoses before you leave. When we had any questions about the Motor home, the thl service staff were amazing.
The staff were also particularly friendly in Adelaide and the drop off was seamless.

We booked for a 3 berth camper and we were given a brand new Maui Cascade instead, a real 4-bed, for the same price. The campervan was perfect for what we intended to do with and we drove fully confident almost 3 000 km. Comfort was incredible with the electric bed we could descent and raise at discretion, freeing room for day activities

We had two van rentals, Christchurch and Auckland, 3/6 and 3/23/26. We have a van at home so we know what’s helpful. 1. Only include a bike rack if requested. Racks are on nearly every van and they are a pain to deal with. 2. Include 300 watts of solar on every van. If you drive each day the house battery will have plenty of juice for the nite. No need to plug in at all unless your sitting for several days and have no solar. 3. Have a powered ceiling fan and one window with a screen. If it’s hot and buggy it’s miserable inside and too hot to sleep.
Long wait times at both places to check out and very slow check in as well. Several hours at Christchurch. Definitely short staffed. Great that folks returning can bring leftover food and supplies so new arrivals can stock up. When we returned to Auckland and brought food in it was then that we saw two cabinet doors marked Pantry Food. With these doors closed it’s easy to miss and no idea there was a refrigerator that had surplus food. Make frig and cabinets very visible.
