I was looking for a pair of comfortable walking shoes and was helped by Joel. I have problems with getting comfortable shoes that fit. Therefore, prefer to go to a store for help. Alternative would mean buying and returning several times which is inconvenient

In a word, Meg. She was so helpful when I was looking for walking shoes. I hate buying shoes but she was so helpful it turned into an enjoyable experience. I also get fed up buying clothing and shoes online as you never get quite what you want and the quality is never up to scratch, but the quality in Millets is always top notch and being there in person is so much better than buying online and hoping you get what you want. I'd been looking for a new pair of walking boots for months and struggled to find any that my wide NHS insoles would fit in. Meg was super helpful and very patient as I explained what I was looking for, and she bought out many pairs of boots until we found a good match. 5 ⭐ customer service.

Fantastically helpful staff in Hemel Hempstead branch. Steven was knowledgeable, friendly and went out of his way to ensure we got the right product and left very satisfied customers. Will definitely return. Good old fashioned customer care is still around!!

I purchased a few presents for my wife’s birthday: rain jacket; hiking shoes; and Wellington boots. All were good quality, attractive and well priced. The two assistants: Steven and Mel were similarly excellent: very helpful, pleasant and professional

Had looked everywhere except your shop and low and behold your wonderful guy knew exactly what I wanted and went and fetched it, we had a laugh as well which added a lot to the experience so thankyou very much for that old fashioned thing called customer care.

Popped in to buy a pair of boots and some tee shirts and was served by sammy.she found me a few pairs and with her knowledge and experience and some time between us both got to the pair that sorted me the best.
I would recommend this millets branch and also Sammy.

Very friendly staff both Steven and the lady colleague (who's name I didn't get) was polite and helpful.great value for mon. have been in other millets store and they were far less helpful so will travel to Hemel again to get lots more camping bits as service gose a long way.thank you again

Once again amazing service from Sam. Got me the right coat for my hike and sorted me out with some great thermals along the way. Sam understood that clothing should be fit for purpose but also comfortable to wear.

On top of all of this Sam knew the stock off by heart and could suggest not only store items but stockroom items and even online product.

Between Sam and Martin they found me the best clothing for my budget.

I am defo going back.

I have used this store almost every time I come to Hemel Hempstead. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. The store usually has the items I am looking for. Well done to all involved.

The selection of clothing was very good. I bought a few lovely jackets and jerseys. The staff were friendly and tentative. The store was well organised and clean.
