Enzo who I dealt with communication and timeframes was very good.Although at the time the phone I selected was temporarily out of stock. I was kept in the loop until it was packaged up and posted .

Cancelling within 14 days
A straight forward purchase but a nightmare afterwards.
Phone arrived ok in a sealed Samsung box which was undamaged, however when opened the screen had two fractures. I was suspicious of where the phone came from and suspect it was for the India home market by the document inside the box.
Cancelling the network contract has been a real uphill battle with conflicting advice from Mobile Phones Direct. Completely wrong information regarding pac codes and the 14 day cooling off period procedure.
Got there in the end but unlikely to use again.

FANTASTIC DEALS AND PRICES
My last phone was with O2 and was out of contract so I was on a month to month charge of £19.32 for calls, texts and 5Gb of data.
I wanted an I phone 16e and to renew with O2 was around £42.00 per month for 3 years with 20Gb of data.
I phoned Mobile Phones Direct and got an I phone 16e with 200Gb of data, unlimited calls and texts for £25.00 a month for 2 years.
This is a saving of over £900 and I'm still using my same number and still with O2.
Can't understand how this works but well done Mobile Phones Direct!!

No attempted delivery
Ordering the phone was quick and easy.
Ordered the phone on the 29th July, expected delivery of the 30th or 31st.
It is the 4th of August and I still do not have my phone.
The courier supposedly 'attempted' delivery but I had received no tracking information from Mobile Phones Direct or the courier. The excuse given was that no one was home, despite having a Wife who works from home.
I have been told it will take another 4 to 5 days to have my phone returned to them, scanned into stock and sent out again. Customer service is terrible as they are only operating in a way that covers themselves from admitting mistake at the expense of the customer.
Just send out a new phone and explain to your seniors that a mistake happened.
I have paid my initial cost and O2 have sent communication about my contract change therefore I am paying for a service of which I only have 50% of it.
Absolutely unacceptable.

I am sorry to hear that you are still waiting for your handset. I appreciate the frustration this has caused especailly when you are paying for the contract.
It appears that your order has been impacted by an address issue that we are experiencing with Royal Mail. The issue has since been fixed, but I understand that this does not rectify the issue on your order.
Our team are working on reshipping your handset as soon as possible, and once you have received the device, we will be happy to offer a refund for the time you have been connected but without the device.
