Each time they have been cheaper regarding monthly costs than O2 even over a 2 year contract compared to their 3 year period for the same phone.
Phone arrived on time as promised.
Customer services is also excellent.

Delayed and frustrating start, but customer support ultimately made it right
I was sent an incorrect handset initially and was asked to return it at my own cost. After a week I contacted them to find out where my ordered handset was only to be told it was out of stock, but my contract had already been activated when the initial handset was dispatched. After 2 weeks I was offered an alternative handset, but with a lower storage capacity so I didn't accept it. It has now been 1 month after my order and I still haven't received the handset I ordered and paid for and I am being charged for my contract.
Update: Once stock arrived, the correct handset was dispatched promptly. They reimbursed my return postage costs, refunded my active airtime for the month I was without a working device, and provided a goodwill payment for the inconvenience.
While a full month of delays and customer service chasing was far from ideal, I appreciate that Mobile Phones Direct ultimately honored their commitments and ensured I was fully reimbursed.

I completely understand how frustrating it must be to have received the incorrect handset initially, experienced stock delays, and then been left waiting for your chosen handset while your contract has already started.
I can see that you have already been in contact with our team regarding this matter. Once your handset has been delivered, we will arrange a refund for the postage costs you incurred when returning the incorrect device. We will also calculate the Time Without Usage and ensure that you are refunded for the period you have been unable to use the service.
We appreciate your patience while we work to get this resolved, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Good purchase experience but phone arrived in a foreign language
The purchase process and the person I dealt with were both very good. However when my iPhone arrived it was set to a foreign language with no on screen set up instructions or options to change it.
I did think it may have been a phone that had been returned by another customer.
When I called Mobile Phones Direct I was informed that I would either have to contact Apple to change the language or return the phone.
I chose to contact Apple who were very helpful but it still took 48 hours to resolve and a lot of my time.
I have bought several phones from Mobile Phones Direct previously and had a great and smooth experience so this was very disappointing.
