Ok so i live in Holmfirth and there are plenty of high street agents in this small village! The problem being that the type of buyer i was trying to attract was always going to be a working buyer who browses for houses online on their lunch hour or after work...not someone who trawls the cold streets looking in shop windows. MyHouseAdvert stood out above all the others (i looked at reviews of all of them trust me!) as they did a pay monthly until sold option. I wasnt sure if this online selling would work to be honest and i didnt want to tie myself into a large upfront fee so i opted for pay monthly (no tie in!) and see where it went...anyway it went for sure!!!:-) The house was on the market within the week and on all the major search sites (rightmove, zoopla etc.) and i had 3 viewings in the first week with an offer by the end of the week. MyHouseAdvert answered all of my emails quickly and efficiently and my buyers also contacted them on various occasions during the surveys etc and they were always very professional. I cannot recommend them enough and this is def. the way forward for me in the future. High street agents will certainly have to pull up their socks and lower their fees if they are to compete with an agent such as MyHouseAdvert. The overall cost to sell my house was £148 over the 2 months of the initial advert through to completion saving me around 2 grand in agent fees....a very happy bunny indeed!

Times are changing and the cost of moving still remains very expensive. My wife and I thought long and hard about how to sell our property and after some long nights searching the internet we came across My House Advert. To be honest it all seemed to good to be true, but we felt it was worth a try if it meant we could sell our house without using the normal high street agents.
If you truly have a property that's in lovely location, newly decorated and priced in the right bracket, you can sell your home within a reasonable time scale yourself.
You know your home better than anyone else. We always felt that If My House Advert could get the people through the door, we would make the sale happen because we were able to provide all the information they potential buyer needed, along with showing them we had cherished our home and truly enjoyed our time in it.
For a small initial fee we got our property on My House Adverts client list and within no time at all the house was listed on all the major property websites. What more can you ask for. If you are anything like my wife and I, you will be searching the web everyday so any new properties always get seen.
Communication was always very good and within no time at all we had viewings scheduled and an offer made within 2 weeks. The nice thing is we set the price and we were able to deal with the buyer direct, or let My House Advert take care of any negotiations. They will have as much, or as little input as you want them to have, but you can decide on that from the beginning.
The fourth person that viewed out property ended up becoming the new owner and we moved in to our new home on the 11th of July 2013. We would have paid over £2500 on estate agents fee's, but in the end the entire cost with My House Advert didn't exceed £400 so that's more spare money for us to spend on our new home.

I can not recommend MYHOUSEADVERT highly enough! They are an absolute revelation compared to agents we have dealt with in the past. The service is very simple to use and could not be more effective - They sold our house promptly and with minimal fuss. When I had enquiries or questions my calls were answered immediately and useful replies via email typically appear within minutes; i simply can not see a disadvantage to a remote agent service when communication is this good coupled with their well established network of surveyors/valuers etc. Pricing? It is simply a bargain! I have recommended them to family and friends and when i sell again I know I have got a highly effective, terrific value service at the ready.

I cannot recommend the service I received from Adam & Kim at MyHouseAdvert enough - they were brilliant right from the very start! For a small fee they advertised my property on all the main property site (Rightmove, Zoopla etc.). I started receiving viewing requests almost immediately and sold my house for the asking price in 48 hours! The excellent service didn't end once my house was sold as Adam & Kim continued to assist with the sale procedure - even my buyer expressed his thanks to the MyHouseAdvert team as he felt they did more for him than his own (traditional) estate agent did! Summing up: if you want excellent service and massively reduced house sale costs USE MYHOUSEADVERT

Having experienced viewing properties through a traditional agency, I had a number of concerns. You can rarely get appointments when they suit. Anything between 9 and 5 is free, but what use is that for those who work?! And weekend appointments are booked up quickly too. Forget about Sundays and bank holidays. When you do get an appointment, the agent knows less about the property than you can find out on the Internet yourself. What's the point? I certainly wanted a better performance than that for the £3000 I was going to be charged by the high street.

Compare this to MyHouseAdvert who charge ~£70 a month. Your advert still goes on all the big portal sites (who looks anywhere else?!) and you can do the viewings when it suits you and yiur buyers. If you are happy to show people around at 10pm on Easter Monday, you can. As the owner, selling your flat is your top priority. You know more than anyone else about the property which makes you a great seller. I sold my flat in 4 days over the Easter weekend.

The fact I haven't mentioned MyHouseAdvert much shows how good they were. There were no limitations brought about by the company. I checked with all those that viewed my property and my solicitor and all stated that they had a good experience of dealing with MyHouseAdvert and would happily use them again. The are there when you need them, they have a great website interface and don't charge you the earth for something you can do better yourself. Having looked at other companies offering similar services, MyHouseAdvert are also great value.

So in short, I can't fault the service or value. To quote a famous supermarket "why pay (much much) more?!"

My partner and I were sceptible about using an online estate agents but because of the massive savings we decided to give it a go and we werent let down! As we both work full time it was much easier for us to send emails which worked out fine, we always received prompt replies and there was always somebody to speak to if we needed to call in, Adam Sutherland and Kimberley Quilter were very helpful and offered the best advice and kept providing me updates and chased the necessary people throughout. We were able to sell our flat within two weeks of advertising through myhouseadvert and instead of normal high street fees of 1%/2% it only cost us £267 so we ended up saving over £2,000! I guess the only bad thing is you have to do your own viewings but at the end of the day nobody knows your home better than you do.

Easy and straightforward, very good value. A much better way of advertising your house, I think this must be the way of the future. What we found really surprising was how we still felt supported even after the offer on our house was accepted. My house advert did almost as much as a high street estate agent, except of course the viewings and handing the key over. The telephone and email contact was probably just as much. Really good prompt responses.Really professional. I am really glad we used them, had good service and saved a lot of money! The only negative was the way dealing with our solicitor was handled at the beginning. I do believe My house advert had our interests at heart but it would have been much better to talk to us on the phone straight away about their concerns rather than by email. I found this very distressing and worrying at the time. Also the concerns they had seemed to come partly because they had tried to contact him via a telephone number and email address that were not supplied by us or the solicitor so I would say strongly that only contact details supplied by the client or solicitor should be used or if alternative details found they should be checked first that they are up to date before being used. Part of the panic and worry would have not happened. Anyway, apart from this everything else was great and I would still use them again.

Most people use a service like Rightmove to find a house to buy but are then forced to interact with high street agents to conduct the sale. My House Advert has proved that the internet is not just a shop window but a complete solution for individuals wanting to sell their home privately. I was happy to conduct my own viewings and interact directly with potential buyers which meant not only a massive financial saving but a smooth process where seller and buyer were in contact and knew exactly what was going on (one of my main bug bears with agents in the past). We had traditional agents "working" alongside the internet advert but they sent NO ONE around at all, 100% of viewings came from our Rightmove advert via My House Advert (depite agent assurances that they had tens of buyers just waiting to come around). Kim and Adam from MyHouseAdvert did as much as the estate agent in Leeds who wanted to charge us £7000 to sell our house (a 3 bedroom semi in North Leeds). They were very helpful in initially setting up our advert, getting us live on Rightmove very quickly. We had several offers and eventually achieved our asking price with a first-time buyer. After becoming very disillusioned dealing with local Estate Agents when trying to buy a property in our area when it came to sell we thought there must be a better way to attract buyers and maybe we could do this ourselves? The rightmove link in itself was a good reason for using MyHouseAdvert.co.uk. The advertising resulted in around six interested buyers, and although none of these actually purchased, their present was enough to send the price up. Although an internet service I felt that I was given personal attention with good follow up. Should I wish to sell a house in the future I would use their services again.

We needed to sell our house in Derbyshire, and I decided to use MyHouseAdvert after searching round for a cheap but reliable agent that would advertise on places like RightMove. Overall I'm delighted - Adam has been extremely helpful, the setup was very easy, and contact has always been very quick.
After filling in the initial form to sell, someone was round within a few days to do our EPC and take measurements and photos. Everything was then available for us to review online a couple of days later, and we found it very simple to review the photos, add new ones, change the order round etc. I entered the full description myself, and very much liked having complete control over how the advert looks.
We asked each viewer what their experience of the agent was, and they all said there was no problem at all with arranging viewings, so that side is great as well.

MyHouseAdvert made my house move (from Iris Close, Birmingham) so much less painful than it could have been and I was extremely surprised and pleased with the level of service I received given the costs involved. Nothing was too much trouble, any missed calls were returned promptly and they did what they said they would do.
