Had to change a few details on my policy today, Matthew Stringer helped thorugh the online chat. Very, clear and prompt responses, got me sorted it just a few minutes.. Something other insurance companies would have made a huge deal about. Very impressed, thanks Matthew.

Awful very very rude older lady made me feel very uncomfortable and almost questioning me about my circumstances .
I’ve been a loyal customer for the last year no claims but all of sudden they want to charge me an extra £1.6k on top of my £500 yearly insurance .
The customer service was appalling no reasoning just wanted to end call!
I’ll be advising others to not go to this broker

I did an online quote and ticked all relevant options for what i needed under fully comprehensive insurance. I agreed the quote on the 19th of may to start on the 3rd of June. I then noticed on the 20th of may there was 2 pending payments on my card. 1 of which was for an additional £79.99 which I did not authorise. I then got through to an on line chat bot and I made it very clear I wanted to cancel the policy due to miss sold policy. I did receive a refund but with a short fall of £49.99 from the unauthorised payment. I claimed this back under section 75 but then received demand notification for an admin fee from one direct. Stay well away !!! I paid £49.99 for absolutely nothing and went on to insure with a different company!

AVOID AVOID AVOID...They are not an insurance company, but a broker, despite me using compare the market. They took my deposit and then I got a letter 6 weeks later from a separate credit co, saying unable to get information from one quote direct despite asking get for this. So credit declined. First we heard of this. No one asked for further info. One quote direct said we could pay full amount to stay insured. No way. Could not get anything back from them and they wanted a cancellation fee if we chose yo cancel. Get lost. We took the policy out in good faith. This company are total scammers. DO NOT USE. We are now insured and paying monthly with a known company.

I Sold my Car in,May and forgot to Cancel my insurance, I also lost my policy so,I've not got a number. There is no way of contacting them to cancel but they still taking money off me. How is this ??

This customer service team is beyond belief, online chat for an hour, then they call you and on phone for 40 minutes to find out the new car you have purchased they cannot insure so then charge you £149 to cancel your policy, they are an absolute joke

I've started a policy a month ago on 8/03. They provided everything sent a welcome package etc. It is 4/04 and I get a lovely letter this morning stating my insurance is now cancelled due to credit checks being carried out and I'm not eligible for Direct debit! When I contact them about it they claim it's a different company carrying out checks and I should take it up with them.
Surely if your credit score is bad an option of DD shouldn't be offered in first place? Instead they take the deposit payment and make you look bad by cancelling or graciously giving you an option to pay full amount on the spot!

I've started to take over my fathers finances as he's a pensioner and unable to manage it himself

Noticed this company had been taking money from my father's account since April 2021. The first year of insurance cost £23 a month, last year is was £40 a month, in total they have taken £1095 from my father's account whilst not receiving emails or post about any "renewals" or any "policies", there's not one email from this company linked to my father's email

There's no login option either which is very suspicious.

I spoke to someone yesterday about this who basically said when he first took out the insurance he agreed to auto renew which I know my dad wouldn't have agreed to as we all shop around at the end of each year.

Supplied me an email to send a copy of my dad's cover with a different insurer back in 2022, luckily had the documents but was told once sent I would get a generic reply to say they have 5 day to get back to myself, I have sent the email and guess what? No generic email.
Will have to go to the bank to claim the money back I think.

I cancelled my policy 1 weeks before my policy ran out, I told them I'd found another and wasn't renewing so they send me a new policy they obviously don't read there emails fuming

Tried to call to query a claim at 3.45pm on Friday. Twice the phone option went to out of hours and then it wasn't the right company. Tried another option only to get someone rude who then put me back to the main menu. After giving up on the phone after 30 minutes I tried the "quick and easy live web chat". After waiting for more than 10 minutes with no advisor I've given up. Will attempt to resolve my issue tomorrow. Terrible service.

F**** ridiculous!!!! Wanted to simply change an address on my policy and they tried to charged me £30 as an administrative fee plus another £40 if my car were to be kept in the garage!!! Told them to f*** off !! How does this even make sense??? Beware!!! Don’t insure with ONE QUOTE DIRECT!

I bought the insurance from this company and when i want to claim, they got me to ring a number, then line was cut off, i rang the same number again, they asked me to ring the other number... seemed in the circle but never get the problems solved. Customer services are zero.....i found out they are insurance broker but not the insurance company themselves, so i would not buy from them anymore, and i bought from them through the price comparison website, so please avoid.

Absolutely shocking service closed my business due to the covid pandemic right in the middle of it due to lack of work. Out of all of the people i dealt with when i finally got through to them these by far was the worse. Charged me a cancelation fee fair enough told me that it would be taken from the account the direct debit came from end of month. 4 months down line cancelation fee had gone to a collection team and had doubled with no contact from them or calls they said they had emailed me but couldn't have as the business email account had been closed. Steer clear of this company pay a bit extra for a good service.

If I could give OneQuote Direct car insurance a zero or minus stars, I would. They have been charging me £800 a year for insurance of my 2017 Volkswagen Jetta. I have a l clean driving license and have had no car accidents in the last 6 years. Although I have barely driven this car for the past 18 months throughout the pandemic, they still manage to increase the cost of my insurance significantly. Then in June this year, OneQuote Direct canceled my insurance without giving me any warning whatsoever. I have been a OneQuote Direct customer for four years. I'm disgusted with the way they've treated me. Before canceling my car insurance, I would have expected that at the very least OneQuote Direct would a) call me up. b) send me a letter, c) send me a series of emails, d) send me a text message - to let me know that they are canceling my car insurance. I received NOTHING from them. How can they say this is 'customer care'? Please don't get a car insurance quote from OneQuote Direct as they will fleece you and not care a jot for you as a customer. Why not just get your car insurance from one of the many reputable car insurers out in the market? Don't make my rookie mistake: Check your car insurer reviews before you buy. Don't buy from a 1.4/5.0 Trustpilot review company like OneQuote Direct.

Absolute crooks took money from my bank account.they paid it back 5 days after i complained minus £1.then i get s letter saying my policy was cancelled.and to add insult they want £47.99p and a debt collector chasing me for the money.I'm not goingtp pay gonna wait till they take me to court then put my case even so not gonna pay either way.

what a Regret ! Regret ! i recently bought an insurance with this company ! and had the worst nightmare ! this company is an absolute Cheat ! rub you off man ! This company should be stopped ! i wish i had read the reviews before i buy the insurance .

Worst company ever DO NOT use you have been warned.

Even after supplying the no claims they wanted to charge an extra £200 and stated my no claims was zero.

I challenged there decision and they kept saying industry standard, but the policy didn't reflect or support their claim. They sent letters saying i didn't reply and was cancelling my policy, even though they didn't reply to my complaint. They only replied after i raised it with the ombudsman, but they still cancelled my policy.

Totally unprofessional set up, stick with the major companies, the AA had no issues at all.
