Powervault battery is a tremendous asset for anyone who has solar PV.
Since mine was installed 12 months ago, my cheaper night rate energy together with the solar output provides 95% of my overall electricity consumption.

I received good advice on the size of unit to order based on existing generation and consumption. Shane was most helpful during the ordering process, delivery and installation. Everything ran to time, no excuses. Installation and commissioning by Electrofix was on time, professional and neat. Best of all, it works ! Seamlessly. I do look at the online portal regularly to see how it is performing, and that too is a model of clarity. But really, there is no need to look at it at all as it just sits there and does its job. I now pay more in standing charges than for power - the unit provides that. Very satisfied throughout.

I have Powervault batteries installed in my house and they have now become an indispensable part of my power supply. The batteries are consistently reliable, charging and discharging as they should. Of particular note is the excellent customer service received if I have a query or there is a minor glitch to sort out - response by phone or email is always prompt and thorough, with ready access to the right people with the necessary knowledge to sort the issue (no call centres !). The user interface works well from phone or PC and allows easy monitoring and scheduling.

Solar PV is not available always when you need it. Adding a Power vault should have made this possible, but not without the support of Power vault technical - the company became part of Eon and the comm's to the cloud app would only store 2.4kW for 4kW. Following upgrades this is now 2.8W which is enough to be used with most household requirements The app is an good visualization - 20% error to smart meter.

Having had my Powervault battery installed, I have been particularly impressed by the customer support.

The battery itself is most impressive, and works exactly as advertised. Charged up in the early hours, it has more than enough capacity to supply my house until the solar panels kick in (once the clocks changed).

I sent in a few questions during the weekend by email and was amazed to be rung at 8.45 Monday morning by a Human being who answered all my queries and more. I can remember my Nan and Grandad talking about UK customer service like this. Never know it may come back into fashion as long as the Multi Nationals leave them alone.

From my initial enquiry through to installation this has been a hassle-free transaction. There was clear communication as to what the process was and how long things would take. The inspection & installation team turned up on time and everything works as expected. I did have one query post-purchase which I emailed in. This was answered, by phone, 2 minutes later. If you're thinking of getting a house battery I'd recommend Powervault. Very impressed.

As I have solar panels I decided to get a battery system to store any excess electricity I produce. I decided to use Powervault as their system seemed to be the best for me. My enquiry was handled very efficiently. The installation was done on time and the premises left tidy. I am very happy with the look of the batteries. My Powervault was installed in March 2022 by installer GMEC Electrical alongside a solar PV array. Powervault and GMEC worked really well together to make sure I got the right sized system for my needs, the installation went smoothly and is nice and neat. The Powervault hasn’t missed a beat since. The portal is really easy to understand and gives me data that I can actually use, including how my home uses power over the day and where it comes from so I can work out how to minimise my bills and CO2 footprint – from my experience, this is a British company and a product that you really can trust!

From start to finish all communications have been timely and professional. Harry the survey man and fitter we had was very helpful. I then asked a question about smartSTOR and almost immediately the office and IT team sprang into action and our electricity tariff will be up and running on snartSTOR in a few days, fabulous.

All Powervault personnel I have spoken to, from Shane in sales to simon, Harry in Installations and James in the technical department were most helpful and extremely courteous. The install by Powervault contractor, Lock electrical was excellent and very tidy.

I have had a 8kW Powervault battery for 18 months now and I am delighted with it and its performance.

I have solar panels and wanted to do something about storing the excess energy that I was generating instead of it going back to the grid. So, about a year ago, I decided to have a 4KW battery installed by Powervault. This proved to be a great choice especially with what has happened to energy prices in the last year. I was therefore considering an upgrade to my battery capacity but wanted to get some additional data to understand whether this would be worthwhile. I spoke with Shane who gave me all the usage information that I needed in order to make an informed decision and I have now placed an order to upgrade.

Today we were contacted whilst on holiday as our low usage indicated there might have been an issue to sort out.
