poor experience
paid for a new tyre and made an appointment. turned up on time to be told we are a few minutes late. an hour 20 mind later the car was taken in. no appologies no explanation. work area was like a disco with loud music that could be heard in the waiting area. overall a poor experience. won’t be going back

Had a tyre blow out on the M6
Had a tyre blow out on the M6. Went to Harold’s Tyres in Penrith, who unfortunately didn’t have a suitable replacement in stock. But they asked us where we were headed (North), checked their system and Gates Tyres in Carlisle had two in stock. We went there, Harold’s had telephoned ahead, we were greeted with a potential 2.5 hour wait but the guys said they would do their best and we got a phone call to say it was all done after 1.5 hours. Great service from both garages at a time of need. Furthermore the bill for the tyre was cheaper than my local garage who had replaced two of the tyres on the car only the week before. Highly recommend both of these garages and the Protyre group.

I was greeted with a friendly smile
I was greeted with a friendly smile. They explained that they were extremely busy (which i could see when I arrived) and that even though it was booked online it would take a while. I was more than happy to wait. And only 20mins past my booking time my car was taking in for four new tyres and some quick checks. When the car was ready they again were extremely apologetic. However I was in no rush and just grateful they were able to sort my tyres for me. I cannot fault the service received. And the friendliness and open honesty and full explanations I received.
