Puregym Longbridge
I wrote a review of this location when it first opened, and it was my first gym, so I ended up giving it 5 stars. It's now over 4 years later, and they've updated 4 things, and now there's a manager who breathes down your neck if you have a bag even near the treadmill when the only way to trip over it is if you are walking directly next to a machine in use. I asked an ex-staff, and it wasn't in the rules, and I never had an issue in my 5 years.
Overpriced, overrated, outdated and takes advantage of being the only local gym in the area. I'm personally going to change gyms to the new Trident gym when it opens.

Birmingham longbridge
I went to puregym in Birmingham longbridge and a very kind gentleman gave me a show around of the gym and explained all offers available to me, I was already interested in joining but he made me feel completely at ease in being in a gym setting and he also said to me that all staff are on hand to assist with any equipment I'm unsure of. Overall a great experience ans as soon as I left i joined straight away.

The process was very straightforward and the app very easy to use. Instructions received by email were very helpful, although some acronyms were used to describe gym access which l did not understand.

A solid gym
Puregym Longbridge is a solid gym that offers good value for money.
The atmosphere is nice, everyone is friendly and approachable. I've only interacted with one member of staff, PT Luke Pitt during an induction class, and he was super helpful and gave me the confidence to utilise a lot of the equipment especially the strength training stuff.
Temperature is good, and sound levels are low enough to easily listen to your own music without distractions.
It's well equipped especially for strength training stuff. It's only a small gym so does get crowded after office hours but you're never waiting long for a piece of kit.
The Yanga water is nice. Get through about a litre of that per day (sorry Puregym).
Will continue to use this gym for the foreseeable.

Great quality equipment the problem is with getting to use it .
The gym is too small for the size of its membership.
I went on an early afternoon session so it must be manic trying the get on to the piece of equipment as the day progresses to on peak .

Not enough bikes and all the cardio equipment is spread over the 2 floors so when you finish one you don't know if the other is free to use because you got to go up stairs or down stairs to find out

I had a quick visit back in the UK and…
I had a quick visit back in the UK and i decided to give PureGym a go in Longbridge, Bham. Now, I live in Barcelona,Spain and as a comparison the gyms over here are in a shocking state. Filthy, smelly, badly maintained. PureGym Longbridge was the opposit. Clean, great machines and nice people in there! I couldn't fault a thing. ;-) Thank you!
