Didcot and Templars Square gyms are consistently disappointing. The showers and lockers are extremely dirty and poorly maintained. However, the most concerning issue is the layout and environment in Didcot. Having a combined changing area is proving to be very disturbing. I often see groups of young girls with their boyfriends sitting right in front of the mirrors and shower rooms, which feels completely inappropriate and intrusive for those trying to use the facilities.
Furthermore, the privacy in the showers is a major concern. During a single session, I’ve had multiple people try to force the door open despite it being closed. If someone were to forget to lock it by mistake, it would be a complete disaster. PureGym Didcot urgently needs separate, private changing and shower facilities, just like your other locations.
On a positive note, your Caversham branch is the gold standard. It is exceptionally clean and well-managed. Management should really look into who is taking care of the Caversham gym, appreciate their hard work, and use their methods as a training model for the staff at Didcot and Templars Square.
Please address these hygiene and privacy issues immediately.

It was impossible for me to be registered as a buddy (4 visits per month) by my buddy sponsor through the app or the website, and no staff in attendance during the advertised staffed hours to sort it out in person. Very frustrating and annoying for my first interaction with Pure Gym. Had to wait for an email response and then PG had to do the registration by hand.

Such poor gym etiquette and trainers who don’t care to instill it in the club. Members sat on machines on phones whilst not using equipment.

The gym is nice, easy to sign up, easy to get access etc. No complaints.

The benches downstairs are very often extremely difficult to push my wheelchair round, l keep bringing this up and things change for about a week, before reverting back to being difficult to get around. I am at the point of finding another gym.

The gym is clean and the trainers are friendly and helpful. I spend lots of time at this gym and its such a pleasure to work out here. The classes are excellent. There is a good variety of classes, and it's great that there are weekday classes at 9.15 a.m. - perfect for attending after school drop-off. I love the Olympic weightlifting classes; it's great to have this opportunity to learn something new.

Some of the machines are full of rust and some of the bench stinky, which means they are not clean frequently. The only reason I didn't move to snap is the 24 hours access.

First time there. Everything is straightforward and equipment is easy to use.

It is an affordable gym that minimises costs by avoiding high level of staff. However the system is absolutely hopeless if you need to speak to someone. Just had some admin problems with the app and membership so I could not access the gym and no one to talk to. There is no customer service line and never had response from the member service email address. It is really frustrating. At the end I could find the email address from the local manager and he helped me out. But it took me few days and stress to have it solved

It’s always way too hot to workout properly. What am I paying for if you won’t turn the A/C on?! Please just use it outside of winter. I can’t workout like this so I’m going to switch gyms
